Wei Xi: “??”

Azure Dragon: “??”

The crowd of onlookers below: “??”

Chong Ming stared at the horrific scene unfolding in the sky, her face deathly pale, and murmured, “…What did you just say…”

Xia Shouren stared blankly: “…How would I know if you ask me…”

Its newly grown horns were snapped off with a crisp snap. After a brief moment of shock, the azure dragon began to roar wildly again. Besides the pain, it couldn’t understand! It clearly smelled the aura of a mythical beast of the same origin, and even felt a faint sense of submissive dependence within its inheritance. Its instincts told it that this one was one of its own! But why would one of its own break off its horns?! This was even more unacceptable to it than the one that had bitten its face!

The dragon’s head was too big. Wei Xi grabbed one of the horns, with a scale still in his mouth. He stuck out his tongue and licked the warm dragon blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes looking warily at the guy next to him with unclear intentions.

The other person looked down at him, holding a dragon horn in their hand, their expression indifferent, not at all like they were toying with him.

Wei Xi racked his brains, trying to figure out the deeper meaning behind the other person’s action, but such thinking was too difficult for his mind. So after a while, his appetite finally took over. He tentatively opened his mouth, brought it close to the other person’s hand, and then carefully took a bite.

Throughout this process, his eyes remained fixed on the person feeding him, so that he could detect any unusual movements the moment they occurred.

Surprisingly, the other party seemed to be simply feeding him. Not only did they not retract their dragon horn, but they also used their thumb to wipe away the rainwater and dragon blood from the corners of his mouth. The other party’s fingertip was very warm, a stark contrast to Wei Xi’s own skin, which was icy cold from the rain and the wind. A little bit of yang energy flowed into his nostrils along with this action, carrying a familiar warmth that mingled with the crisp and smooth taste of the newly grown dragon horns.

A hint of amusement seemed to flash in the other person’s eyes.

Wei Xi’s wariness gradually dissipated as they locked eyes, and he relaxed, taking another slow bite.

The two of them, one crouching and one squatting, gathered around the dragon’s head, their eyes locked for a long time. At this moment, the originally hostile atmosphere became unprecedentedly friendly, and even the howling wind seemed to become gentle.

Witnessing this scene of public displays of affection, Qing Long’s eyes widened, and it let out a mournful roar: “Awoooooo!!!”

What’s going on with you guys?! Why are you suddenly being so flirtatious in such a serious setting?! Please, stop looking at each other! Look at me! Show some respect to your opponent!!

….

It angrily coiled itself in the air, almost twisting itself into a pretzel, causing the sea to surge and the sound of waves crashing against the seawall to become almost a roar. Yet even so, it could not shake off the two immovable threats on its body. On the contrary, it itself, with its scales torn off and suddenly caught off guard, was dizzy with shock and fear, and accidentally fell from the air, crashing straight onto the viewing platform of the seaside park.

A deafening crash followed by a roar as the dragon’s more than ten-meter-long body pounded the ground. Wei Xi was jolted back to his senses, fearing that it would escape. He quickly snatched the remaining dragon horn from Shuo Zong’s hand, then focused intently on holding down the struggling prey beneath him, wrapping its trembling whiskers around his own hand.

At this point, the Taoist priests who had been stunned by the sudden turn of events finally snapped out of their daze. They didn’t even have time to guess the source of Wei Xi’s bizarre eating behavior; they instinctively rushed forward, their faces pale, crying out desperately, “Fellow Daoist Wei!!! No!!!”

That’s a dragon!!! A dragon!!! Although it caused enormous disasters and added a lot of trouble to the human world, and its demeanor was arrogant and cold, at the very least, it was still the idol of this country that had never faded in thousands of years!!! The only dragon in the heavens and on earth!!!

Everyone was on the verge of tears watching Wei Xi desperately pull at the dragon’s whiskers, pounding and beating it as he did so! How could he use such a brutal method to subdue it?!

Wei Xi was completely oblivious to their emotions, thinking that his fellow Daoists were worried about him. He shook off the blood and rain that had splattered on his face, and still fiercely tugged at the whiskers of the struggling Azure Dragon that had caused massive damage to the park, saying coldly, “Don’t panic, I’ll kill it right now.”

The Taoist priests were stunned: “What?! You want to kill it too?!”

The Azure Dragon, threatened with death, finally panicked, unable to believe that anyone in this world would dare to treat him like this: “You dare to kill me?!”

Wei Xi felt that its confidence in its own life was unfounded: “You’re not a wild boar, what’s wrong with killing you?”

The struggling Azure Dragon: “?”

The Taoist priests, who were inwardly panicked, were like: “?”

Qing Long was so shocked by his words that he even forgot to struggle, and murmured in disbelief, “I… I’m actually not even as good as a wild boar?”

Wei Xi sneered: “Nonsense, wild boars are a Class II protected animal in China. Poaching them will result in a fine from the Forestry Bureau. What are you? How dare you compare yourself to a wild boar?”

Azure Dragon: “…………”

Taoist priests: “…”

….

Qing Long felt he had suffered the greatest humiliation of his life, and roared in fury, “What did you say?!”

It was a majestic azure dragon that had cultivated for a thousand years, capable of summoning wind and rain, guarding a region, and worthy of being ranked among the immortals. Yet, in this person’s mouth, it was not even as good as a mere wild boar?!

If he could transform into human form right now, he would definitely have jumped up and started yelling like a shrew. Unfortunately, he had only been in the world for a short time and could only express his anger in his true form. Therefore, his only ways of expressing anger were shouting and frantically wagging his limbs and tail. However, Wei Xi’s assessment was clearly not a joke, and the killing intent in his eyes was real and tangible. He would show no mercy when he attacked.

As he watched the crimson dragon blood trickle down the azure dragon’s forehead to his feet, Mr. Gu realized Wei Xi’s intention and finally broke down— their program team was indeed breaking down feudal superstitions, but that didn’t mean they had to slay a dragon! If Wei Xi really killed the dragon, how could he explain it to his superiors?!

The hunting scene ahead was brutal and direct. Mr. Gu’s mind went blank. When he came to his senses, he found himself already pounced on the dragon’s head, tightly gripping Wei Xi’s wrist: “Master Wei!!!”

Wei Xi frowned as he was pulled: “What?”

Mr. Gu choked up, his voice barely able to continue: “I’ll play that advertisement for your temple! I’ll play it, okay? This can’t be killed, it really can’t be killed!”

Wei Xi didn’t care about the advertisement at this moment. When he realized that the man was going to stop him, his expression quickly turned cold.

As their eyes met, Mr. Gu was suddenly gripped by a chilling fear. Although it was still that familiar face, he felt as if he were facing the oppressive force of a natural enemy. He was stunned and speechless for a moment, and even the azure dragon that had been roaring incessantly due to pain and anger fell silent.
