Bauer was very familiar with the ship’s structure, leading Si Huang without stopping. Soon, they arrived at an empty corridor.
The overhead lights were dim. When Si Huang saw Bauer stop, she turned to look at her face, which was hidden in the gloom, her expression blurred.
“Is what you’re saying interesting?” Si Huang asked proactively.
“It’s right here,” Bauer pointed to the door beside him.
Si Huang smiled, her tone expectant, “Then let me see it quickly.”
She no longer feigned an expression, because in this light, Bauer’s eyesight certainly wouldn’t be able to see her current expression.
Sure enough, Bauer had no suspicion, coaxing, “Why don’t you open it yourself? Open a new and wonderful door!”
“Okay.” Si Huang stepped forward without hesitation, reaching out to push open the door in the corridor. Unfortunately, the door was locked from the inside. She couldn’t successfully turn the doorknob, turning back to look at Bauer with dissatisfaction.
“Oh, sorry, my brain’s completely blank!” Bauer seemed genuinely to have forgotten, though his eyes gleamed with a mocking glint.
He thoroughly enjoyed watching the little lamb being toyed with; it was both amusing and exhilarating.
Bauer slammed his large hand against the door five times, shouting, “Open the door! Open the door! It’s me, Bauer!”
A muffled grumbling echoed from inside, then the door was opened by a bald man. The bald man paused upon seeing Bauer and Si Huang outside, then covered the gap with his body. “Why did you bring him here!”
“K was bored, so I brought him here to play something fun,” Bauer said with a grin.
The bald man scrutinized Si Huang. Since her face was mostly obscured, his gaze primarily swept over her body. He wasn’t interested in her slender figure, but her skin was undeniably fair! In the dim light, the white was almost blinding, yet not a lifeless pallor; it looked smooth and warm, like oriental porcelain.
“Come in!” the bald man grinned, reaching out to pull Si Huang’s arm.
He pulled her in, and as she was being pulled inside, Bauer shoved her hard in the back.
The little lamb was thus half-coaxed, half-forced into the wolf den by the two big bad wolves.
With a “bang,” the door slammed shut before the three could even see what was inside.
Si Huang’s eyes adjusted to the light and she immediately saw several cages inside, each holding a person like an animal.
Two men were currently naked on the bed, engaging in bestial acts, while the woman below didn’t seem forced; she appeared to be enjoying herself.
“K, do you find this interesting?” Bauer’s voice sounded behind her, his laughter tinged with malice.
Si Huang showed a look of disgust and said indifferently, “No, I feel a little nauseous.”
“Hahahaha!” Bauer laughed loudly, somewhat surprised that she didn’t panic. Was she too naive? Or was she pretending to be calm? He wanted to see her true expression, so he walked up to Si Huang and reached out to remove the mask from her face. “That’s because you haven’t experienced the fun in here yet. I can tell you’re still a C-cup as soon as I see you! Come on, you’ll find it especially interesting after you try it!”
In this domain that belonged to them, Bauer completely removed his disguise, revealing the ugliest evil within.
He thought he had successfully abducted a little lamb, and now it was time for the lamb to fall into the wolf’s mouth.
But when he reached out, Si Huang grabbed his hand. Bauer thought she was going to struggle and was about to say something with a smile when, with a forceful movement from Si Huang, all the sounds he made turned into screams.
Si Huang twisted his hand at an abnormal angle and then kicked Bauer in the stomach.
Bauer flew a meter away, clutching his stomach and vomiting bile.
“Damn it!” the bald man cursed, reacting quickly as he clenched his fist to punch Si Huang.
Si Huang clenched her fist as well, and their fists collided.
One hand was fair and slender, clearly meant for playing the piano, the other rough and dark, half as big as the other’s. The result of their collision was predictable.
A mocking glint flashed in the bald man’s eyes, and then the fists actually collided. He heard the sound of bones cracking. “Aaaaaah!”
The bald man clutched his hand, his face contorted in agony, staring at Si Huang in disbelief.
Si Huang’s next punch landed squarely on his face, slamming the burly man to the ground, blood gushing from his mouth and several teeth broken. In that short time, the two men who had been exercising on the bed also came to their senses.
“Don’t move!” a voice rang out.
Si Huang turned her head and saw a naked man pointing a gun at her.
That body truly disgusted her.
A cold glint of disgust flashed in Si Huang’s eyes, and without hesitation, she rolled over.
The man with the gun hadn’t expected her to be so bold even with a gun pointed at him. He was a step too slow to fire and missed Si Huang.
By then, Si Huang was already next to the bald man, easily lifting the burly man as if he were a chicken and using him as a shield.
The bald man was significantly larger than her, and this shield completely blocked her view; if the other man wanted to shoot him, he would have to hit the bald man first.
“Shoot me,” Si Huang said with a wicked smile.
The two men on the bed looked grim, glaring at Si Huang and cursing.
Suddenly, the man next to them grabbed the woman on the bed with a dreamy expression, choked her, and threatened Si Huang, “Let her go, or I’ll kill her!”
Si Huang noticed the woman’s expression was clearly abnormal. She calmly raised the bald head and approached the two men. “What does her life have to do with me?”
The man was stunned. “You’re not from the police? Then why are you targeting people? Why are you targeting us?” After saying this, he realized something and glared at Bauer, who was still in pain on the ground. “Damn it! Look what trouble you’ve gotten yourself into, Bauer!?”
Bauer was speechless. How could he have known that the little lamb was actually the big bad wolf? He had really been caught off guard!
“Watch out!” Bauer suddenly warned.
But he was still a step too late. The man on the bed was knocked down by a dark figure, making him dizzy. When he looked closely, he realized it was the bald man.
At this moment, Si Huang moved swiftly, like a black panther, leaping over the other man, grabbing the man’s gun-wielding hand with lightning speed, and twisting it so that the gun was pointed at the man’s own head.
“Heh, little boy, this isn’t a toy!” He was certain that no matter how powerful Si Huang was, she wouldn’t dare to kill… people so easily…
“Bang—”
The man’s expression froze.
His blood-stained face was still full of astonishment as he fell onto the bed.
The remaining three, including Bauer, were equally stunned.
They hadn’t expected Si Huang to be so decisive, firing without hesitation. How ruthless was she?!
Bauer was on the verge of tears, his heart pounding with fear, his mind screaming: What kind of devil had he provoked?! God, save me!
Si Huang kicked the man away in disgust, pointing her gun at the man pinned down by the bald man. “Don’t move.”
The man preparing to launch a sneak attack froze, crying out, “Oh! I didn’t mean anything by it, yes! I won’t move, I absolutely won’t move!”
Si Huang got off the bed and sat on a relatively clean chair, asking the three, “What’s your relationship with this ship?”
“Heh, we’re just passengers…” The man on the bed had barely finished speaking when he was hit with a bullet.
The bald man still on top of him froze, his face covered in the blood of his brother whose head had been blown off.
God! He was still on top of him; if the little boy hadn’t hit him, he would have been the one dead! …Oh no! How could his marksmanship be so accurate?!
Bauer, lying on the ground, was also terrified, his stomach aching so badly he dared not groan.
He had never seen such a ruthless person, leaving no room for mercy, no hesitation, taking a life so casually.
Si Huang said to the remaining bald man and Bauer, “I don’t like listening to nonsense, and I have no sympathy for people like you, so answer whatever I ask.”
The bald man and Bauer nodded hurriedly. Both were big guys, but now they looked like naughty children afraid of being punished for doing something wrong, which was really… not cute at all!
Si Huang found that after being used to seeing handsome men and beautiful women, looking at this group of tall, muscular guys with crooked noses and faces made her less patient.
The two noticed Si Huang’s mood, and the bald man immediately said, “We are in charge of delivering goods.”
Si Huang raised her chin, her gaze sweeping over the men and women locked in the cages.
The bald man swallowed, his voice dry, “That’s right, these are our goods, we are human traffickers.”
“Where to?” Si Huang asked.
“The Dream Ship,” the bald man said.
Si Huang: “Can you take the cargo out of the hold?”
“No!” the bald man said cautiously, “The things in the hold are all valuables; we can’t even look at them!”
Si Huang laughed, “Then there’s no use leaving you here.”
She twirled her pistol around, startling the bald man and Bauer. Bauer added sharply, “We can’t take the cargo out, but we can take it in!”
Si Huang looked at him, seemingly probing the truth of his statement.
Bauer, who had previously thought her eyes were incredibly beautiful, now dared not look directly at them, sweating profusely as he explained, “If…if we have valuable cargo…”
Valuable cargo, indeed!
Si Huang thought for a moment. Speaking of valuable things, the only thing she had was Soul01.
However, she didn’t think that sending a gun down would guarantee entry, because this ship was far more complex than an ordinary freight car.
“What if there’s a riot on this ship?”
“No! Don’t do that!” the bald man shouted excitedly. “We’ll all die! We’re already at sea, and the Dream is monitoring the situation inside. If anything goes wrong and we can’t deliver the goods on time, they’ll remotely control it and throw us all into the sea!”
Si Huang looked at the bald man, trying to judge the truthfulness of his words from his expression.
The bald man’s fear didn’t seem fake, and Bauer also advised, “The Dream belongs to Earl Dream; he’s capable of anything!”
Si Huang: “Earl Dream?”
Bauer said in a tone of genuine awe, “Earl Jasper, Ivan Jasper.”
Something flashed through Si Huang’s mind, or perhaps nothing at all.
