The location was near the temporary dormitory.

When Bai Yue arrived at the scene, it was chaotic.

Several members of the disciplinary team had set up a red cordon and were trying to restore order. Mu Sihan and the others were not among them; they had probably been sent elsewhere.

There were also several onlookers standing outside the cordon, looking worried.

Their view was blocked by the crowd, so they couldn’t see what was happening inside. But they could vaguely hear sobbing.

Bai Yue and Shang Yufei exchanged a glance.

Bai Yue took the lead and stepped inside the cordon. The team members recognized him and did not stop him.

After passing through the encirclement, he finally saw the scene inside.

An omega student was lying on the ground, bleeding from his abdomen. His uniform was also stained red, and the “Dark Flag” school badge was blurred.

The victim was a student of Dark Flag.

He was still conscious, but because of the intense pain, tears were streaming down his face. Medical personnel were squatting beside him, giving him emergency treatment.

The girl with the ponytail noticed Bai Yue: “You’re here.”

Bai Yue’s gaze shifted from the victimized student: “Was it done by the Masked Organization?”

The girl briefly explained what had happened.

This omega student from Dark Flag was a member of the logistics team. He was attacked fifteen minutes ago when he returned to his temporary dormitory to retrieve something.

It was said that the attackers all wore similar white masks.

Unfortunately, by the time the disciplinary team arrived, the perpetrators had already fled. They hadn’t caught them.

In other words, this student was both a victim and a witness.

Hearing this, Bai Yue fell into deep thought.

In his memory, although the Masked Organization acted strangely, they had never attacked students on campus indiscriminately. Moreover, last time on Planet Lia, those people had saved the selection students of Imperial First.

Bai Yue hesitated, “Why did they do this?”

“Who knows?” The girl with the ponytail sneered, “Those guys never seem to make any sense. But if you had to find a reason…”

She looked disdainful, “They probably just wanted to cause trouble for our disciplinary team.”

While they were talking, the medical staff had finished emergency treatment on the injured person and were about to lift them onto a stretcher.

The Dark Flag student clutched his wound, his face pale. Just then, a familiar voice came from outside the crowd.

“Senior? What happened to you?”

He was startled and looked up to see a young man with flaxen hair.

The man stepped out from the crowd and knelt down beside him.

“You… how did you get here?”

The senior looked somewhat evasive. He looked too disheveled and didn’t want his beloved alpha to see him.

Sikong Xing looked at the red seepage from his abdomen, “Who did this?”

Before the senior could answer, someone interrupted.

“A disgusting student organization, always wearing masks and swaggering around.”

Sikong Xing looked in the direction of the voice and saw a female alpha with a ponytail.

The other person raised their chin: “Don’t worry, we will arrest them as soon as possible. You can accompany the injured student to the infirmary first.”

Sikong Xing looked at her without speaking.

He turned to the injured student and asked, “Can you manage on your own?”

The student was taken aback. Actually, he secretly wanted Sikong Xing to accompany him, but since he had offered, he couldn’t make any further requests and could only nod hesitantly.

The injured student was taken away.

The students watching looked at each other, somewhat bewildered.

This sudden incident made it feel like they were no longer in the mood for watching a competition. Who would have thought that a student from the top-Dark Flag Military Academy would be stabbed in broad daylight?

Although only one person was injured now, no one could guarantee that this wouldn’t happen to them.

After all, judging from what they had just heard, this so-called “masked organization” and the Imperial First Discipline Inspection Team had a long-standing feud. And they were just innocent scapegoats dragged into this.

Seeing the unease among the students, the girl with the ponytail spoke up to comfort them.

“Please rest assured, everyone. We will further increase patrols and will never allow this to happen again.”

The stabbing incident had only recently occurred, so it hadn’t spread yet. If the spectators in the arena also found out, the worst-case scenario would be panic, potentially causing the games to be interrupted.

The girl with the ponytail said, “I hope everyone will refrain from making a sound for now, so as not to alert the perpetrator. For safety reasons, please also avoid acting alone.”

Sikong Xing smiled and asked, “You mean, you want us to keep it a secret for you?”

The girl with the ponytail looked over and saw it was a classmate of the injured student.

Since they were competitors from another school, she suppressed her displeasure and explained, “I understand how you feel. But this will only cause unnecessary panic. I will notify the school to make an announcement, reminding everyone to be careful.”

Sikong Xing shrugged and didn’t say anything more.

Regardless of their true feelings, at least the students outwardly agreed.

The crowd dispersed.

Only then did the girl with the ponytail notice a familiar face in the crowd. She frowned. “What are you doing here?”

Shang Yufei glanced at her and scoffed. “You disciplinary squads really have a lot to hide.”

The girl with the ponytail frowned. “I told you, it’s to avoid causing panic…”

“Not for reputation?”

A student from another school being stabbed in broad daylight would raise questions about Imperial First’s Security.

These students knew to be careful, but others were different. A perfunctory announcement wouldn’t be taken seriously.

Without vigilance, it wouldn’t be surprising if another incident involving Dark Flag students occurred.

However, Shang Yufei was already used to the disciplinary squad’s approach.

His only worry was Bai Yue. He would be sent on dangerous missions by these face-conscious guys.

At that moment, the rousing march echoed from the distant Giant Dome Arena once again. The last contestant had reached the finish line, and the preliminary rounds were over.

After the top ten advancing schools were announced, the next round would begin.

As a member of the disciplinary squad, Bai Yue had to prioritize this task. But Shang Yufei was different.

Seeing the vice-captain’s expression gradually darken, Bai Yue spoke first to Shang Yufei, “You go back first. I’ll meet up with you after I finish my tasks here.”

Since it was Bai Yue who spoke, Shang Yufei didn’t say anything more. He just patted the other’s shoulder lightly and turned to leave.

Only after the man left did the girl with the ponytail speak up unhappily, “Bai Yue, how do you know him?”

Bai Yue replied, “He’s my senior from high school.”

Hearing this, the girl with the ponytail seemed slightly surprised, “You’ve known each other for so long, you should know this guy’s temper. ‘One is influenced by one’s company,’ I advise you to be more careful when choosing your friends…”

“Vice Captain,” Bai Yue said with a smile, “Let’s talk about the mission first.”

The girl with the ponytail was speechless. Just as she was about to begin her explanation, she noticed an outsider standing there.

Sikong Xing stood a few steps away, curiously observing them, showing no intention of leaving.

Seeing everyone looking at him, he waved his hand and said, “Don’t mind me, you guys talk.”

How could she not mind!

The girl with the ponytail suppressed her temper: “Next is our disciplinary team’s business, you don’t need to worry too much. You should go back and prepare for the competition as soon as possible.”

“That’s not urgent,” Sikong Xing said with a smile, “My opponent is right here. I’ll leave whenever he leaves.”

Hearing this, the girl with the ponytail was stunned. Then she saw the flaxen-haired youth walk towards Bai Yue and smile slightly: “We just met this morning, you should remember me, right?”

On the other side, Shang Yufei, after walking away, did not immediately return to the arena, but instead took out his phone and contacted Wu Zihao.

“Where are you now?”

“Huh? Boss?”

The voice on the other end of the phone was a bit noisy. “I-I’m here cheering you on, of course! I’m definitely not with an omega!”

“Alright.”

Shang Yufei knew this guy’s problem all too well, and clicked his tongue. “Come over right away, there’s something to do.”

A few minutes later, he received a report from Wu Zihao.

For nearly an hour, none of the members’ actions were unusual.

Wu Zihao almost succeeded in flirting with someone, but was ordered back immediately by the boss. But he didn’t know what he was being asked to investigate.

After reporting, seeing the boss’s displeased expression, he cautiously asked, “What happened?”

Shang Yufei: “Someone in the group stabbed a student.”

Hearing this, Wu Zihao was shocked. He rolled up his sleeves: “An hour isn’t enough, you wait, I’ll find these guys right away and question them one by one!”

“Wait.”

Shang Yufei’s eyes narrowed slightly. “This is just the disciplinary team’s judgment.”

Since no one in the group had taken action, it proved that the one who stabbed the student could only be someone else.

He put on his coat and walked forward.

“Let’s go. We need to find those bast**ds impersonating us before the disciplinary team even arrives.”

Bai Yue certainly remembered Sikong Xing.

To be honest, he was a little surprised to see him suddenly appear here.

“I saw your match today. I’d like to have a match with you before the finals.”

Sikong Xing smiled. “So, finish this stupid mission as soon as possible and come back with me.”

Before Bai Yue could reply, he heard a cold voice beside him.

“Bai Yue is a member of our disciplinary team, so it’s only right that he gives the disciplinary team’s missions priority.” The ponytail girl looked displeased. “Imperial First has many excellent players; you can go find them.”

“Excellent?”

Sikong Xing looked at her and asked without any malice, “Are they at your level?”

“What?” The ponytail girl’s face turned pale and then red.

“Ah, sorry.” Sikong Xing said, “I’m just not interested in very weak alphas, it’s not about you.”

The ponytail girl was about to say something when her phone rang. After seeing who was calling, her expression changed, and she immediately walked away to answer the phone.

Sikong Xing asked Bai Yue, “Can you make it back for the mid-term competition?”

The bloodstains on the ground were still wet.

Judging from what had just happened, Sikong Xing knew the student who was injured earlier. However, he didn’t seem particularly concerned about the student’s injuries.

Bai Yue looked away from the bloodstains and smiled at Sikong Xing, “I’ll go catch the culprit first.”

Sikong Xing crossed his arms, seemingly deep in thought. Finally, he clenched his right fist and tapped his left palm.

“I’ve got it!” He grinned, revealing two canine teeth. “I’ll help you.”

Bai Yue was taken aback.

“Resolve this as soon as possible and go back to the competition.”

The girl with the ponytail had received a call from her captain. Apparently, she hadn’t received a report yet, hence the call to urge him.

She then realized how much time she had wasted. After hanging up, she ignored Sikong Xing and immediately assigned the task.

Due to manpower issues, Bai Yue was once again patrolling and searching alone.

Bai Yue: “Don’t we need to check the surveillance footage?”

“We already have.” The girl with the ponytail frowned. “Just like before, those people know exactly where the surveillance cameras are at Imperial First School and avoided them all.”

Bai Yue: “What about the other routes during the same time period?”

The girl with the ponytail: “No need to look.”

Imperial First School’s surveillance covered nearly 90% of the entire school. But the members of the Masked Organization were agile and could often climb to blind spots in the surveillance. Therefore, every tracking attempt ended in failure for the disciplinary team.

As a result, the disciplinary team had come to a conclusion. Instead of wasting energy searching for previously left-behind videos, it was better to focus on patrolling and simultaneously monitoring the video footage. This would be more effective in uncovering clues.

The girl with the ponytail: “Time is running out, let’s act quickly.”

She didn’t give Bai Yue a chance to ask anything further and waved her hand to disperse everyone. Then she left as well.

Sikong Xing, who had watched the whole thing, blinked: “So your disciplinary team is this ‘decisive’.”

Bai Yue didn’t reply and picked up his phone to contact the team members in the monitoring room. Cao Xun was in charge there now.

“Do me a favor,” Bai Yue said. “Send all the surveillance footage from the last hour to my phone.”

Cao Xun didn’t ask any questions and sent it over directly.

The data volume was quite large, and the first footage received was of the Dark Flag student being stabbed.
