The lights were still on in one of the dormitories for the trainees, even though they were so tired lately and hadn’t slept.

Feng Yuanxuan sat on Lin Yidong’s bed with red eyes. Lin Yidong was so angry that he couldn’t help but curse, “There are all kinds of animals out there! They actually used a needle to prick Brother Xuan! No way, we’re going to sue him!”

“Where are you going to report him?” Ji Ran glared at Lin Yidong.

Lin Yidong, who had been glared at, sat down again. He knew all too well that there was nowhere to complain.

He was just too angry and said some things without thinking.

Lin Yidong grew up in a simple environment, which also fostered his simple nature.

Otherwise, in the original text, he wouldn’t have believed Sheng Ziyou, ultimately leading to his suicide due to depression.

However, Gu Yuzheng and Ji Ran, who caused all of this in the original story, had now become his best friends and had been helping him all along.

“Without evidence, if you get pricked by a needle, you can’t call the police or ask the production team for help.” Ji Ran sighed. The other party had obviously planned this, leaving them helpless.

“Would the exposure be useful?” Lin Yidong asked again.

“No, it’s nothing.” This time it was Gu Yuzheng who answered him. “It’s just a tiny, barely visible needle prick. If it were exposed, people would definitely think that Yuan Xuan pricked it himself to escape the blame.”

Lin Yidong gripped the handle tightly, furious.

“Xuan Xuan, think back, who was around you at the time? Was Jiao Xiu far away from you?” Ji Ran asked.

Feng Yuanxuan carefully recalled that everyone was already familiar with the dance, and he was also very clear about everyone’s positions.

He frowned: “Jiao Xiu was quite far from me at the time, and he was dancing, so he didn’t touch me at all. After I picked up Teacher Zheng… the closest person to me was… Yi Fan, he was behind me. Hu Changming was on the right, so it shouldn’t be him.”

“Bei Yifan?”

Feng Yuanxuan nodded, but quickly denied it: “Yifan is impossible too. First, we have a good relationship, and second, if he were to make a move, I would definitely see it…”

“Could it be that there was a needle in your clothes beforehand, and it pricked you when you bent over, and then the person who did it took it away?” Ji Ran suddenly widened his eyes.

Gu Yuzheng was speechless: “Do you think this is a detective novel? If the needle was placed in advance, Yuan Xuan couldn’t possibly not have felt it beforehand. If he was pricked in the lower back, it wouldn’t just hurt for a moment and then stop hurting.”

“Okay.” Ji Ran sniffed and pulled back his wild idea.

“Brother Zheng, what should we do now?” Lin Yidong asked Gu Yuzheng.

He had always been the most composed of the group, and the others were used to it, letting him oversee things.

Gu Yuzheng thought for a moment and finally said, “The best solution to this is for the production team to edit out your car accident scene. Whether we can find the culprit is not the most important thing now. The most important thing is how Yuan Xuan can avoid being criticized.”

Ji Ran agreed and hurriedly said, “Xuan Xuan, contact your agent and have Huayao step in to minimize the impact of this matter.”

“Okay.” Feng Yuanxuan nodded, then looked at the three of them and said sincerely, “Thank you.”

When he was so lost and helpless, those who were willing to lend him a helping hand were people who valued loyalty and had been kind to him.

When something like this happens to someone, it’s easy to lose your temper.

If someone can support him at this time, it would be like sending charcoal in snowy weather[1].

Gu Yuzheng, Ji Ran, and Lin Yidong are all very good people, and they will be the people he is most grateful to, besides Sheng Ziyou.

As planned, Feng Yuanxuan quickly contacted his agent.

After listening, the other party remained silent for a while before saying, “Leave it to me.”

Feng Yuanxuan spent the night in trepidation. The next morning, the production team distributed everyone’s cell phones.

After he received it, before he could even log onto Weibo, his agent called.

“Brother Liu, how is it?” Feng Yuanxuan asked anxiously.

The agent’s voice was also filled with anger, and she couldn’t help but say, “Who exactly did you offend? The news about your car accident last night has already spread across various supertopics. Although it hasn’t made it to the trending topics yet, photos from the scene have already been released!”

Feng Yuanxuan was taken aback.

Brother Liu’s voice continued on the phone: “The production team said that the incident with Lu He last time already made things difficult for them, and this time they also can’t edit it well, and…”

“And what?” Feng Yuanxuan pressed.

“Moreover, Zheng Jiaoqian disagreed. If the parts where you had problems are to be cut, then some of Zheng Jiaoqian’s scenes also need to be cut, as well as the focus corrections. As soon as the performance ended yesterday, both sides reached out to each other.”

Feng Yuanxuan sat slumped on the bed, his eyes blank.

“Jiao Xiu said he doesn’t care how the production team edits it, but he hopes they won’t cut out his best moments. Zheng Jiaoqian said directly that you almost embarrassed her on stage, so she doesn’t want your ‘car crash’ moments cut.” Brother Liu was also very angry.

Anyone would be angry if they ran into obstacles everywhere in the morning. The production team could offend the trainees, but they would never want to offend the guests.

So cutting out the car accident scene was out of the question.

After hanging up the phone with his agent, Feng Yuanxuan looked completely bewildered.

So… is there no way to resolve this?

He was angry, but even angrier at himself.

When someone tries to harm him, he can’t even tell who did it or how!

He sat blankly on the bed, staring in one direction, lost in thought, until Lin Yidong came over and dragged him to their dormitory. He was still a little dazed.

“What’s going on?” Fu Jia Huan asked.

At this moment, besides Feng Yuanxuan, all six members of Gu Yuzheng’s group were in the dormitory.

Feng Yuanxuan forced a smile, but it looked terrible: “There’s nothing I can do about this, not even my manager.”

“What exactly happened?” Ji Ran frowned and pressed for an answer.

Feng Yuanxuan recounted everything his agent had told him.

After he finished speaking, the entire room fell silent, and everyone frowned at the same time.

“Being infamous is still fame… After this, my popularity will definitely rise again. Even if I’m eliminated, I’ll still have a future as a singer.” Feng Yuanxuan forced a smile, and if it weren’t for the fact that his smile looked more like a grimace, people might have actually believed him.

The others frowned even more, unsure of what to say to comfort him.

After all, they were all newcomers, not seasoned problem solvers, and couldn’t make up their minds.

Lin Yidong suddenly had a flash of inspiration and said, “Why don’t we ask Teacher Sheng for advice?”
