After the sports meet, time flew by, and the weather turned cold.

Yan Han’s life returned to his daily routine of studying from dawn till dusk. Thanks to his newly acquired skill, his gradually improved body had reached a new level, and he didn’t feel cold even in thin clothes in the dead of winter.

Of course, this was also related to the fact that he devoted most of his time to studying.

For the entire semester, Yan Han appeared to be a workaholic in the eyes of others.

While others slept, he studied; while others ate, he studied; while others chatted, joked, or played games, he was still studying!

Sometimes, even Yan Han felt that his life consisted entirely of studying, and he wondered if he had gone crazy from studying.

But there was nothing he could do; he had so much homework to do, so much knowledge to learn, and so many advanced math problems to solve…

Although he didn’t feel physically uncomfortable, the long-term high-intensity studying still caused him some psychological pressure and negative emotions. After all, even the most diligent students always had some time to relax, even if it was just eating and sleeping.

Yan Han’s life at school was entirely one of extremely high-intensity studying. Apart from sleeping two to three hours a day and shuttling between the dormitory, the cafeteria, and the teaching building, there was nothing else to do.

Seeing all this, Lin Jianlu often advised him to balance work and rest, and even did the math for him:

“You’re in school five days a week, studying for twenty hours every day, that’s a hundred hours in five days, not even counting the time you spend studying on weekends.”

“The burden is too heavy, no one has ever worked as hard as you. If it weren’t for these skills you have, your body…”

“But I have these amazing skills,” Yan Han said nonchalantly, “and I also get rest.”

He didn’t work that hard every day. The reason he hadn’t broken down was that he would give himself a day off every Sunday, which he would use to spend time with Lin Jianlu. Right now, the two of them were lying side by side on the recliners in Lin Jianlu’s living room, basking in the sun.

The winter sun was warm, shining on Yan Han’s overly thin body, revealing a pale, fragile beauty.

Even though his body didn’t feel tired, the long-term mental exertion and lack of sleep were still extremely taxing. Yan Han looked even thinner than in autumn, and his appearance was turning increasingly frail.

Just seeing this change was heartbreaking.

If Lin Jianlu didn’t know that he had no internal problems and that the divine skill of peerless martial arts would continue to enhance his body and various functions, he wouldn’t be able to bear letting him continue like this.

But it was precisely because of this perseverance that Yan Han was always dazzling and radiant.

Possessing divine skills was just the beginning; only those who could truly bring those skills to their fullest potential and use them to their advantage were truly charismatic.

Moreover, there were very few people like Yan Han who were strong-willed, resolute, and able to resist all kinds of temptations to focus on their studies.

Ignoring the difference in eating and sleeping times, it was not impossible for others to spend an entire day studying and maintain high efficiency all day long.

However a day or two was fine, but few people could maintain such a high intensity of study without stopping like Yan Han.

And Yan Han had been studying with this focus for a whole semester.

Yan Han said, “I’m really fine.”

Every time he saw the worried look on Lin Jianlu’s face, he felt a little lost, and occasionally he felt sorry for not being able to spend more time with Lin Jianlu because he had to focus on his studies.

The reason he studied so hard was no longer simply to survive.

Besides living, he also wanted to live with Lin Jianlu forever. Yan Han’s world had unknowingly expanded from one person to two. Given this premise, getting into X University and successfully completing the system’s tasks became his top priority.

After all, the road ahead was long, and who knew what twists and turns awaited them?

Completing the system tasks was merely the first hurdle.

Enjoying their life together without the pressure of survival had become his sole motivation when he felt like giving up or being driven mad by the tedious studying.

Fortunately, although Lin Jianlu often showed concern, he never stopped or hindered his studies. Lin Jianlu remained his all-knowing encyclopedia and universal dictionary, incredibly useful.

In this state of frantic studying, Yan Han spent the semester in a very “high-profile” manner.

His midterm and final exam results were excellent because he had already self-studied the entire semester’s material, understanding and mastering every single point of knowledge in every subject. Therefore, Yan Han only needed a brief review before the exams, yet he still achieved very high scores.

This delighted Yan Han and gave him more confidence in the future, boosting his motivation to continue learning.

He had even begun planning his winter break studies.

However, before the long winter break arrived, the school arranged a winter camp for them.

This was one of the traditional activities at Luze High School, experienced by every graduating class of second-year students.

In the school’s words, the winter camp was meant to further temper the students’ willpower.

Regardless of the school’s intentions, many students were interested in such group activities, especially since this one lasted four days— meaning they would be staying together for three nights!

Although older students who had participated in winter camps said it wasn’t fun at all, most students couldn’t help but feel excited before departure, so excited they couldn’t sleep.

Of course, Yan Han hadn’t slept well since the day the itinerary was finalized.

Not out of excitement, but out of worry.

As a transmigrator with a system, his considerations were always different from others.

While others were thinking about what to eat, what to do, and where to go after the camp, his first priority was to inquire about how the school arranged accommodations for the three nights of the four-day, three-night winter camp in previous years.

Due to the large number of students and considering that not all students came from wealthy families, the school didn’t charge each student much.

So, with limited funds, the winter camp accommodations were arranged with boys sharing a room and girls sharing a room, all in large, two-story dormitories…

Upon hearing this, Yan Han looked at his androgynous face in the mirror, remembering that his identity was still “Yan Han,” and almost burst into tears.

Getting a single room was unrealistic; apparently, the accommodations were specifically prepared for students from schools like theirs, and there were no single rooms available. He would definitely have to share a room with his classmates.

But he couldn’t very well go to the boys’ dormitory and share a room with the boys in his class.

Although Yan Han desperately wanted to live in the boys’ dormitory now.

After all, he was a man!

It wasn’t that he was afraid of his gender being exposed; by now, the older brother was quite adept at hiding secrets and had his own methods.

What he was afraid of was…

This was similar to how he used to want to rather die than go into the girls’ restroom. He was forced to hide his true gender, but he didn’t want to infiltrate the girls’ group and invade their privacy while concealing his identity.

He was, after all, a man. Imagine living with all the girls in the class— what if he saw something he shouldn’t have…?

Yan Han’s face fell; this was practically forcing him to gouge his own eyes out!

Before thinking about the accommodation issue, the older brother was quite interested in the winter camp activities.

His unparalleled martial arts skills had already unlocked the second level of agility, and Yan Han believed that no matter what kind of training it was, it wouldn’t be difficult for him. He was looking forward to using this winter camp opportunity to test his skills…

But after inquiring and finding out about this situation… he was already considering whether he should feign illness and simply not participate.

“I understand your thoughts,” Lin Jianlu said, then paused before adding, “You can attend the winter camp as usual. Leave the accommodation to me; I’ll figure something out.”
