On the way back, Mr. Chen subtly probed Wei Shicheng, but Wei Shicheng only smiled and remained silent. However, when Mr. Chen invited him to come again, Wei Shicheng agreed, making Mr. Chen feel that the chances of success were high.

Wei Shicheng couldn’t possibly be unaware of the tricks involved; he had lost count of how many people had wanted to send someone to him, and Mr. Chen was neither the first nor the last.

But Wei Shicheng felt he really should relax. Thinking of that delicate and charming face, he thought he might be a good person to relax with. Even if not for him as a person, just for his rare zither skills, he would be enough to attract his attention.

Hu Wenshan walked into the classroom, put down his painting box, and said, “The finance department has started collecting tuition for the next quarter. The deadline is approaching. Has anyone still not paid? Raise your hand if you haven’t paid, so I can keep track.”

Several students with severe procrastination issues raised their hands. It wasn’t that they couldn’t afford to pay, but they habitually waited until the last minute. Hu Wenshan waited a while, but seeing that Tao Yuan hadn’t raised his hand, he couldn’t help but ask, “Du Qingyu, have you paid your tuition?”

“Yes,” Tao Yuan replied. The tip from President Chen was more than enough to cover the tuition. Although he knew that extremely wealthy people were always generous for the sake of face, they wouldn’t be this generous unless they had other motives. After all, no one’s money falls from the sky, and even wealthy people have their own pressures. The tip from President Chen was the initial payment for serving Wei Shicheng.

“Paid?” Hu Wenshan was clearly surprised, but he pretended to be calm. The words he had prepared were now useless, so he had to swallow them back. But he still wanted to confirm again, “You really paid?”

“Why don’t you call the finance department and confirm with them?” Tao Yuan said expressionlessly.

“If you paid, just say so. Why are you arguing?” Hu Wenshan pretended to be angry to hide his abnormality.

“Didn’t I say so?” Tao Yuan asked, puzzled, then looked at the camera and said, “Because the teacher kept asking, I suggested that the teacher confirm it. If this counts as talking back, it seems that as a student, I have no right to speak.”

Hu Wenshan followed his gaze and also looked at the camera. This camera was monitored not only by the school, but also by the parent committee, the education bureau, and various organizations and institutions, all of which had personnel monitoring it. This was to determine who was at fault in the event of a conflict between teachers and students.

In today’s society, which highly values human rights, students must respect teachers, but teachers should also respect students.

Because he was clearly in the wrong, even if he was unwilling, he could only swallow his anger, pretend nothing had happened, and start teaching.

Xu Shaoyan was also surprised because Liu Xiujie had someone check and confirmed that he was no longer playing the zither at the teahouse. So where did he get the money to pay tuition? Xu Shaoyan was puzzled. After thinking about it, he felt the most likely explanation was that his father had left him some savings.

Xu Shaoyan bit his lip in frustration, thinking that once he spent all his savings, he would come begging to him one day.

After class, Tao Yuan went home and cooked dinner for Du Yi, then gave him some money just in case, telling him he might work late that night and to call him if anything happened.

After showering and changing, Tao Yuan went to the teahouse’s lounge to wait. He had a premonition that what was meant to happen would happen tonight. Although he was still a little uncomfortable, he told himself that it was all for completing the mission, just like acting. There was nothing he couldn’t accept; he was a professional actor, and he could try any role.

Besides, only a perfect love could make that peach blossom fully bloom. He was definitely going to spend his whole life with Wei Shicheng; it was going to happen sooner or later anyway, so it was just a matter of doing it now or later.

The manager came to call him personally and kept instructing him not to offend Chairman Wei, and to endure whatever Chairman Wei did to him.

On the way to the private room, although Manager Wu kept talking, Tao Yuan had no interest in listening. He knew what was about to happen; he had no prior experience with this. But he told himself it was alright, because the original owner of this body had no experience either, so he just needed to perform normally.

Before entering the private room, he took a deep breath, telling himself he had to immerse himself in the role. From this moment on, he would truly begin to take part.

Tao Yuan played the zither in the private room without a screen, just like last time.

After the piece ended, President Chen received a phone call, saying he suddenly had something to deal with. He then apologized to Wei Shicheng and left in a hurry.

Only the two of them remained in the room. Tao Yuan continued playing the zither, but Wei Shicheng’s scrutinizing gaze made him slightly uncomfortable.

Wei Shicheng’s aura was too strong; even a casual glance from him could be oppressive, let alone such a scrutinizing gaze.

Wei Shicheng stood up, walked to Tao Yuan, and squatted down in front of him. He lifted Tao Yuan’s delicate chin, tracing his exquisite features with his eyes as if admiring a work of art.

Tao Yuan’s chin was lifted, but his fingers, plucking the strings, didn’t stop. Their posture resembled that of a patron and a prostitute. Except Tao Yuan’s appearance was similar to that of a top-tier courtesan who was selling her virginity.

“Do you know why President Chen left?” Wei Shicheng looked at those bright, spirited eyes, feeling a sense of familiarity.

“I know,” Tao Yuan thought. Everyone knew the truth; President Chen couldn’t have really left for no reason.

“Do you know what I’m going to do to you next?”

“I know.”

“Tell me.” Wei Shicheng’s lips curled into a mocking smile.

“President Chen asked me to serve you, to sleep with you once. He’s already paid me for it.” Tao Yuan’s heart raced, but he tried to maintain a calm expression.

Wei Shicheng paused, then laughed. He hadn’t expected such a blunt answer. He couldn’t even count the number of people who wanted to get into his bed, or those who wanted to send themselves to him. He’d seen all sorts of boys and girls, but this kind of person, so open and honest, was truly a first for him.

“You don’t seem like the type to do something like this for money.” It was easy for Wei Shicheng to see through someone; this man had pride and wouldn’t easily bend. Such people were extremely self-disciplined, valuing their bodies and emotions more than life itself.

“I wasn’t originally like that, but I was so desperate for money that I had to become one.”

“With such excellent zither skills, you’re still short of money?” Wei Shicheng asked, puzzled.

“Because I’m short of big money, and I need it urgently. This is a quick way to make money, no waiting.” Tao Yuan insisted on finishing the piece before stopping his fingers from plucking the strings.

Wei Shicheng rubbed his pink lips with his thumb, wanting to kiss them and taste their texture. But those eyes felt increasingly familiar, yet he couldn’t remember where he’d seen them before, which made him uneasy.

“Have I seen you before?” Wei Shicheng felt that with such a handsome face, he would never forget it after seeing it once. But he just couldn’t remember where he’d seen those eyes before. So he decided to ask him directly, hoping to get an answer.

“When I was very young, I recognized you as my godfather,” Tao Yuan said.

Wei Shicheng immediately froze, slowly withdrawing his hand and saying, “Really? I don’t remember that?”

“June 20th, xxxx, was my birthday. My father took me to a hotel to celebrate, and we happened to run into you there. At the time, my father and you had business dealings, and to curry favor with you, my father insisted that I call you ‘godfather.’ You neither agreed nor disagreed. But after I called you ‘godfather,’ although you didn’t respond, you touched my head and said I was good-looking, especially my eyes.”

Images gradually formed in Wei Shicheng’s mind. He had too many important things on his mind; if his memory weren’t so good, he wouldn’t have been able to recall this particular fragment, because he hadn’t really paid attention to it.

Wei Shicheng had thought at the time that the child was very beautiful, especially his eyes, which were bright and sparkling. However, the child hadn’t fully developed yet, and so much time had passed, so he hadn’t remembered.

“What happened to your father?” Wei Shicheng’s business was growing bigger and bigger, and many people he had worked with in the past hadn’t been in contact for a long time. Besides, strictly speaking, his relationship with his father wasn’t really a business partnership.

“He went bankrupt, then died of a terminal illness, leaving behind some debts and a younger brother with heart disease, who depends on me for survival.”

The original owner’s father did indeed have some outstanding debts, but the creditors had good relationships with him, and the amount owed wasn’t particularly large, so no one pressured him to repay them. However, given the original owner’s personality, he didn’t want to owe anyone anything, so he always kept thinking about paying off these debts. Now that Tao Yuan had taken his place, he would naturally help him pay them off.

“So, you really are in a hurry for money, and you do have reasons to sell yourself for it.” Wei Shicheng stood up, walked to the bed, and sat down, looking at him and saying, “But you should know that there are plenty of people in this world with tragic backgrounds. I’m not some great philanthropist; I won’t pity you just because you say how miserable you are.”

“I never wanted your pity. Since I’ve decided to sell my body, it would be someone else if not you,” Tao Yuan said, his eyes lowered. “I just took the money and will do what I am supposed to do. I only told you because you asked. The manager told me not to offend you. I’ll do whatever you tell me to do, and I’ll answer whatever you ask me. I can’t resist or talk back.”

Wei Shicheng laughed again, finding this kid quite interesting; he’d sold out his manager with just a few words. But the words “If not you, then someone else” made him inexplicably uncomfortable. So he slapped his thigh and said, “Sit here, let me see if you really will do whatever I tell you to do.”

Tao Yuan got up and walked to Wei Shicheng, glanced at his thigh, then at his teasing gaze, and looked down, fidgeting with his fingers, saying, “I… I have no experience.”

Wei Shicheng found his flustered appearance quite adorable, took his hand, pulled him onto his lap, and pinched his chin, making him look up at him. “Call me godfather.”

“Godfather,” Tao Yuan called out without hesitation.

“Do you know how to kiss?” Wei Shicheng sucked on his pink lips, then licked them, finding the taste quite good.

“No, I’ve never kissed anyone,” Tao Yuan answered honestly. Neither he nor the original owner had any kissing experience.

“Are you really bad at it, or just pretending? You can tell me the truth, it doesn’t matter. With your looks, you certainly don’t lack suitors, you can’t have never been in a relationship, right? Even if you haven’t done it, have you never even been kissed?”

Tao Yuan remained silent.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Wei Shicheng asked.

“I thought I could just ignore it if you didn’t believe me, but the manager said I can’t talk back to you,” Tao Yuan said softly.

Wei Shicheng laughed. He had never seen someone so straightforward and cute before. “I believe you now.”

Tao Yuan glanced at him, then lowered his gaze again.

“What are you going to say now?” Wei Shicheng rubbed his fair, tender cheek with his mouth. “You’re allowed to talk back to me.”

“I want to say you’re really fickle. Sure enough, people in high positions are not only suspicious, but also easily influenced. No wonder President Chen couldn’t reach an agreement with you, so he sent me here to serve you, hoping that after I please you, I can whisper in your ear and maybe then you can reach an agreement.”

“You’ve already thought of so much in just one glance?” Wei Shicheng hugged the fragrant, soft body in his arms, gradually tightening his arms. This person in his arms had not only successfully aroused his interest, but also his sexual desire.

“If you don’t believe me, that’s fine.” Tao Yuan was hugged tighter and tighter, and couldn’t help but press his hands against his chest, feeling his pectoral muscles as hard as rocks. With such a strong and powerful body, he was in for a tough time tonight.

Wei Shicheng smiled and laid Tao Yuan down on the spacious bed.

Although the bed was made of solid wood, it was fortunately covered with high-quality memory foam, which was then covered with a silk fabric cover, so Tao Yuan didn’t feel uncomfortable lying on it.
