“Lead…lead what way?” the bald man persisted. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Do I even know you?”

Hearing this, Mu Sihan stepped forward and half-squatted in front of the man. “You should remember my face from last night, right?”

The bald man looked around. “No… I don’t remember. I see so many people every day, how could I remember everyone?”

Mu Sihan silently stared at the man, then suddenly stood up and grabbed the bald man’s collar.

Before the bald man could react, he felt a powerful force strike his neck, his body suddenly lifted into the air— spinning 360 degrees and slamming heavily to the ground!

“Ouch!” the bald man screamed in agony.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t good at fighting and was a beta; facing the two men on the offensive, he was powerless to resist.

Mu Sihan lifted the bald man and slammed him against the wall. “Remember now?”

The bald man felt his tailbone was about to break, and fearing another blow, he hurriedly said, “I remember, I remember!”

Only then did Mu Sihan release his grip.

The bald man completely backed down.

“Even if I take you there, you two are such unfamiliar faces, they’ll definitely be suspicious.”

“That’s not something you need to worry about,” Bai Yue said with a smile. “By the way, what information do you know about the Source Crystal? Tell us about it.”

The bald man didn’t know the location of the Source Crystal; his role was merely that of an intermediary, bridging the gap between buyers and sellers.

Last night, when he saw people in military academy uniforms asking questions, he immediately panicked and wanted to eliminate them completely. But when he went there this morning, he found that the ones who had been defeated were his own men.

He didn’t dare report this, wanting to handle it himself. Because he guessed that the military academy students would come looking for him again, he had proactively acted as bait and hired more bodyguards.

He was preparing to be the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.

However, under the absolute power disparity, all schemes and tricks were just paper tigers. The bodyguards didn’t even have time to activate their pheromones before being defeated.

The bald man explained while secretly regretting it. If his men had released their pheromones immediately, they could have definitely suppressed those two brats!

He had repeatedly warned them, but they still hadn’t listened. Seeing that the person following them was a short omega, they immediately lowered their guard.

He didn’t dare say these words aloud, only lamenting inwardly.

An hour later, Bai Yue and Mu Sihan arrived at their destination, following the intelligence agency.

This place was even more secluded than the long alley they had just passed; without someone leading the way, they would never have imagined anyone would be here.

The buildings on all sides were tightly shut, seemingly abandoned for a long time. A gust of wind swept away the flyers stuck to the walls.

“It’s…it’s here,” the bald man pointed to a small door not far away.

It looked unremarkable from the outside, its facade covered in rust.

Bai Yue looked at the bald man: “Are you sure?”

“Absolutely sure!” the bald man said, “You still doubt me at this point? We’ve been caught, why would I lie to you?”

He rubbed his tailbone in fear.

Bai Yue and Mu Sihan exchanged a glance.

Bai Yue took out his phone, fiddled with it for a bit, and then gently nudged the bald man: “Let’s go.”

The bald man, hunched over, pushed open the rusty iron door.

With a creak, the door opened. A narrow staircase led downwards, just wide enough for one person to walk on, with dirty walls on either side.

The bald man went in first.

After the last person entered, the iron door slammed shut with a thud. The underground light suddenly dimmed.

Bai Yue turned on his phone’s flashlight.

At that moment, the person leading the way suddenly quickened his pace.

The bald man tried to create some distance in the darkness, but his ankle was suddenly hooked.

He lost his balance and fell, tumbling down the stairs with lightning speed, crashing into the wall behind him with a thud. A sharp pain shot through his tailbone. The bald man lay sprawled on the ground, groaning softly.

Then, a blinding light pierced his eyelids.

He raised his hand to shield his eyes but could only vaguely make out a figure in front of him. The man then moved his phone’s flashlight away and said calmly, “At a time like this, where do you think you’re going?”

Hearing this, the bald man felt a chill run down his spine. He suddenly regretted bringing the two of them here.

The underground tunnel was deep, but they quickly reached the end.

At the end was a large, intricately patterned door, far more luxurious than the one above.

The bald man knocked three times rhythmically. After a moment, the door opened from the inside, letting in blinding light.

Bai Yue squinted.

Just as the bald man was about to take another step forward, someone suddenly grabbed the back of his neck. The icy voice came again from behind: “Go first, hands up.”

The bald man and Mu Sihan went in first, with Bai Yue following behind.

Inside, it seemed like a party venue. There was a bar and a wine cabinet, with booths along the wall. Wine glasses and playing cards were scattered on the tables.

Strangely, however, it was empty.

It was as if the party had been suddenly interrupted, and all the guests had vanished into thin air.

Bai Yue looked behind the door. He didn’t see anyone either.

The vast underground bar was now empty except for the three of them.

Just then, a sound came from under their feet. Bai Yue looked down and saw an empty bottle rolling towards them, coming to a steady stop beside his feet.

A wisp of white smoke slowly rose from the bottle’s opening.

Realizing what was happening, Bai Yue grabbed the shoulder of the person in front of him and leaped to the side. His body slammed into the back of the sofa, flipping the person over.

The next second, the empty bottle suddenly exploded. Shards flew in all directions, embedding themselves deeply in the floor, the walls, and the bald man’s abdomen.

He screamed and collapsed to the ground.

Bai Yue hid behind the sofa. The commotion had caused the cloth wrapped around his head to come loose. He ripped it off, frowning.

These guys didn’t take the intelligence agency seriously at all; they really showed no mercy.

Then, more empty bottles were thrown out.

Although the directions were chaotic, it allowed Bai Yue to pinpoint their locations.

There was a gap of about five seconds between the bottle explosions. Without hesitation, he picked up the nearest empty bottle and threw it back.

A moment later, after several explosions, heart-wrenching screams echoed from the shadows, indicating serious injuries.

Some people couldn’t contain themselves and rushed out. Bai Yue prepared to get up: “Let’s do it, take care of these people first.”

Mu Sihan paused slightly, then also got up.

In trying to avoid the empty bottle, he had been grabbed and pinned down by Bai Yue.

They were so close he could almost feel the heat from the other’s breath.

This was perhaps the first time he’d ever been so close to anyone other than in a fight.

Mu Sihan glanced at Bai Yue, then turned back.

However, the other didn’t seem to realize this.

Now, Bai Yue’s entire attention was focused on his opponent. Hearing Mu Sihan get up, he covered his weapon with his hand, pushed off with his back foot, and charged forward.

The men who ran out hadn’t even reacted before the figure flashed behind them.

Then, a chill ran down their necks. After a sharp pain, a paralyzing sensation suddenly spread throughout their bodies, rendering them immobile.

Within minutes, the two had dragged out and dealt with the attackers.

After the last man fell, Bai Yue put away his knife.

This was one of the military supplies he had purchased earlier, and compared to ordinary knives, it had a paralyzing effect.

Since this type of weapon was used most often during training, and because stealth was crucial, he had chosen this weapon after careful consideration.

Mu Sihan was examining the faces of those men.

Bai Yue asked, “Are they inside?”

Mu Sihan shook his head.

Just then, footsteps echoed from the shadows. A man emerged, clapping, “As expected of military academy students, you took down my men so easily.”

Hearing this, both men turned to look.

Mu Sihan stood up and coldly uttered the man’s name: “Su Cheng.”

Su Cheng? This was him?

Bai Yue sized him up.

The mastermind behind this Source Crystal transaction.

However, this guy didn’t seem to recognize Mu Sihan. Hearing his name, he raised an eyebrow and looked over: “Oh? A dignified military academy student, you actually know me?”

After saying this, he glanced sideways at the fallen bald man. The man was severely injured and on the verge of death.

Su Cheng narrowed his eyes and directly stepped on the man’s face: “This trash said it, didn’t he?”

“It wasn’t time for the transaction yet, but he still had the nerve to come over. I was wondering what was going on, turns out he attracted two little rats.”

Hearing this, Bai Yue understood. No wonder they were on guard from the start; it turned out the intelligence agency’s behavior was completely abnormal.

They were concealing this fact. It seemed they were planning to lure them in and then escape. Unexpectedly, Su Cheng didn’t care about their lives at all, showing no mercy.

However, that was no longer important.

Bai Yue stepped forward: “Come with us, we have some questions for you.”

The other party dared to show themselves alone so openly, they probably had a backup plan. This place was not safe to linger.

Su Cheng sneered, without replying. With a flick of his hand, five or six more people appeared behind him, carrying laser guns.

Su Cheng: “I’ve been observing you. Two young men, indeed skilled. But too naive, daring to barge in with just two small knives.”

Mu Sihan frowned, about to step forward, but was stopped by Bai Yue.

Su Cheng: “Looks like there’s one smart one. I advise you not to act rashly. I can spare your lives now. Otherwise, once you make a move, guns don’t have eyes.”

As if to prove his point, the men with guns stepped forward, surrounding him.

This wasn’t the first time Bai Yue had been blocked by the dark muzzle of a gun. But unfortunately, this time it was probably no longer a test.

The man was right. No matter how fast they were, they couldn’t outrun a bullet.

Bai Yue threw away the knife and obediently raised his hand.

Su Cheng praised, “Smart.”

Mu Sihan clenched and unclenched his fist. He stared intently at the man, about to raise his hand as well, when he heard the person behind him ask softly, “Can I use pheromones?”

Mu Sihan was taken aback.

This was an agreement between him and Bai Yue. He could teach Bai Yue to fight, but in return, Bai Yue could never use pheromones in front of him without his permission. He just hadn’t expected that the other party would actually keep this in mind.

Bai Yue’s voice wasn’t loud, but it was enough for the others to hear.

Upon hearing this, Su Cheng couldn’t help but laugh out loud: “What did you say? You want to use pheromones?”

He said, “You want to make us go into heat so you can escape this? Haven’t you thought about the consequences?”

Bai Yue didn’t reply.

Originally, he wasn’t talking to this group.

The others were holding laser guns, but looking at the faces of these two omegas, they couldn’t help but feel a little tempted.

Although their skills were terrifying, their faces were indeed handsome. Compared to them, the prostitutes in K City were like monkeys in a zoo.

Right now, they held these two men’s manhood in their hands. So what if they were military academy students? They were still completely at their mercy!

Su Cheng, seeing the malicious glint in his men’s eyes, knew what they were thinking.

He was older now, and his passion for such things wasn’t what it used to be. Besides, now that they had both men under their control, rewarding his men wasn’t out of the question.

Su Cheng turned around: “Bring them over when you’re done. I have questions for them.”

His men were overjoyed: “Okay!”

People like them had no sense of camaraderie. Although their other companions were unconscious and their lives hanging in the balance, they didn’t care at all. They only cared about following their own desires.
