When the white light dissipated, Yun Zheng found herself standing in the medical research laboratory she had used for her work in her previous life, where she had suddenly died. She was so shocked she thought she was dreaming.

But the surrounding environment felt so real, and her clear mind quickly made Yun Zheng realize this wasn’t a dream.

Could it be that her obsession with the laboratory was too strong, so she was reborn with it?

This laboratory was designed by Yun Zheng herself, and it had three rooms.

One was used to house various medical equipment, another for preparing various medicines for experiments, and the third was a materials room, where many items were neatly categorized.

The most valuable items were some rare medicinal herbs that Yun Zheng had collected, such as ginseng, deer antler, and lingzhi.

There was also a small bed for resting, and a huge refrigerator filled with vegetables, meat, and all sorts of snacks.

Most people who conducted medical experiments were germaphobes, so Yun Zheng always cooked her own meals. Sometimes she got so engrossed in experiments that she could stay in the laboratory for three months, so she also prepared enough flour and rice to last a year.

Yun Zheng checked everything one by one and found that there really wasn’t a single change. Even the bowl of instant noodles she hadn’t finished eating before her sudden death was still on the kitchen table.

This was truly amazing. Yun Zheng was completely dumbfounded. Suddenly, she remembered something, ran to the door, and opened it to see what was outside. She found herself in a paradise, with an endless green lawn stretching as far as the eye could see.

In the distance, there were tall mountains and green trees, vast flower forests, and all kinds of flowers, each one a riot of colors, emitting a dizzying fragrance. Closer by, there was a steaming round well and several rows of black earth.

“What a magical place, where am I?” Yun Zheng couldn’t help but murmur.

[Congratulations, Master, on activating the Fortune Space]

With a cheerful little sheep’s voice, a chubby white dog appeared in front of Yun Zheng.

“Who are you?”

Yun Zheng asked curiously. Doctors are usually bold, and besides, she had already accepted the sudden magical scene, so it wasn’t strange for a dog to be able to talk.

“Master, I am Fufu, the only living being in the Fortune Space. You are the woman of destiny I have been waiting for for a hundred years.” Fufu wagged its tail happily.

“What? Fortune Space? Woman of destiny?”

Yun Zheng felt her mind was full of question marks.

“It’s like this, Master. This Fortune Space is a sacred object of heaven and earth. Every world has a woman of destiny, and your fortune is the strongest, which is why you were able to open the space. You can enjoy everything in the space at will.”

“Is it really that good? What price do I have to pay?”

Although the space was a great treasure, Yun Zheng believed that there was no such thing as a free lunch, and there must be a conspiracy!

Fufu chuckled.

“Master is wise. The Fortune Space exists to accumulate good fortune. It’s just that a woman of destiny hasn’t appeared for hundreds of years, and the space’s power is weak. To maintain the space’s form, you need to collect Fortune Points, Master. The more you collect, the stronger the space’s spiritual energy, allowing it to accompany you for life.”

“Oh,” Yun Zheng said coldly, “I don’t want it!”

Fufu panicked. Why wasn’t her master following the script?

[Why don’t you want it, Master? This is something others dream of, a once-in-a-millennium opportunity!]

“Too much trouble.”

She just wanted to quietly be the Qin family’s beloved pet, helping them prosper and live a life free from want.

She didn’t want to bind herself to the Fortune Space. Fortune wasn’t so easy to collect; what if she died from exhaustion again?

She valued her life!
