It had only been a little over a year.

But no one dared to treat Si Huang as a newcomer anymore.

Many people who entered the entertainment industry at the same time as her were still playing minor roles, or at best, supporting roles. Si Huang, however, had already reached the top tier, even surpassing it.

Regardless of how long his popularity could last, even if it was just a fleeting moment, it was enough to make countless peers envious and jealous, becoming one of Si Huang’s lifelong honors.

Moreover, many believed that Si Huang’s peak was definitely not limited to this. Her acting skills, demonstrated in just two dramas, were enough to show her strength. A person with looks, talent, and a powerful backer, unless something unexpected happened to ruin her, would only soar to great heights, unstoppable!

Today’s incomplete broadcast also put Si Huang on countless headlines again.

Not all these headlines are on Si Huang’s side; some experts stated that Si Huang and Mi Lu’s behavior was ‘excessive’.

Fenghuang Entertainment had officially responded to these claims.

[Whether it’s a foreign or domestic special program, they all display a “Do Not Imitate” warning at the bottom of the screen. For the sake of entertainment, many programs have done things even more extreme than Si Huang and Mi Lu, so why doesn’t anyone condemn them? In the recent episodes of “Extreme Challenge,” the cliff climbing and surfing in five-meter-high waves were incredibly dangerous, so why didn’t anyone criticize them for setting a bad example? Teenagers have their own judgment; they know what they should and shouldn’t do. They wouldn’t be unable to understand the “Do Not Imitate” warning on TV. If someone actually does it, it’s simply their nature.]

Fenghuang Entertainment’s response provided new material for entertainment reporters, with some saying that Si Huang had too much influence on teenagers, and his words and actions directly affected the new generation of young people in China.

In response, Fenghuang Entertainment first thanked the newspaper for its praise of Si Huang, placing him in the position of a leading figure among teenagers.

Immediately afterward, Fenghuang Entertainment didn’t respond verbally. Instead, they set up a questionnaire on their official website, asking the public to judge whether Si Huang had truly had a negative impact on teenagers.

Since Si Huang was now abroad, his fans had to go to Fenghuang Entertainment’s official website for the latest news, so it was quickly discovered.

One person spread the word, another forwarded it, and with the help of Fenghuang Entertainment’s own publicity department, a large number of people flooded in to comment on the questionnaire.

“Negative impact? Are you kidding me! If someone acts like His Majesty and is considered negative, then are there any upright people in this world? If you’re out of your mind, go read some books instead of coming out here and selling your stupidity!” Just from the tone, you could tell this girl was definitely a member of the Imperial Guards.

“Your Majesty entered the entertainment industry at sixteen, earning his first role through his own abilities and becoming the most popular character in the drama— that shows his talent. Later, while leading his classmates in filming ‘Red Moon’ at Huaxing Art School, he chose to forgo more opportunities in the industry to return and participate in the school’s graduation New Year’s Eve party free of charge— that shows his loyalty. During this time, despite being suppressed by his brothers and treated unfairly by his parents, he still treated and supported his father well— that shows his filial piety. At seventeen, he independently established a company, then skipped grades and entered Jinghua University with the highest score, still finding time to work during his university years— that shows his ambition! How dare you say that Your Majesty, who is talented, loyal, filial, and ambitious, will have a negative influence? Has jealousy corrupted your minds?”

“Geniuses do exist in this world, but no genius can have everything without doing anything. His Majesty may be a genius, but we, who have accompanied him for a year and watched him come this far, have seen how much effort he has put in! It is because he has given his all that he can win so effortlessly now! You so-called experts only see the surface glamour, but have you ever thought about how much pressure a seventeen-year-old boy has to endure and how much time and energy he has to put in to achieve all this? Stop nitpicking. Do you dare to say what you were doing when you were seventeen?”

Using data and facts to speak for themselves, leaving no room for rebuttal, and blatantly slapping people in the face was exactly the style of the Knights.

Then, the “mothers’ group” chimed in with their comments, “Negative impact? My god! My best friend and I are now using Si Huang as an example to educate our kids, and we think it works great! This time, the little emperor in Infinite Collapse is a bit rebellious, but still within acceptable limits. If my child had Si Huang’s achievements and abilities, he could be as rebellious as he wants!”

Although Fenghuang Entertainment itself didn’t say anything, they used the combined eloquence of the masses to suppress the public opinion against Si Huang.

You want to say bad things about His Majesty? We’ll reason with you, comment, and suppress all the bad things. Let’s see who’s right in the end!

Fenghuang Entertainment’s handling of targeted reports made their peers secretly curse them as cunning— damn it! This is simply taking advantage of their large fanbase to use Si Huang for hype, making Si Huang a hot topic without any negative impact on them, but instead further enhancing their status.

It’s just a pity that other companies can’t replicate this kind of hype, because Si Huang is an irreplaceable existence.

The time difference and geographical distance between the two sides made the flow of information slow and inconvenient. Yu Xi was busy filtering work for Si Huang and arranging the best travel time, while Si Huang decided to take it easy today. After accepting the new phone Qin Fan bought for her, she simply inserted the SIM card but didn’t turn it on.

Qin Fan saw this but didn’t remind her.

The two got back into the car, and Qin Fan asked, “Where to?”

Si Huang turned her head and saw the man’s serious profile. A hint of interest flashed in her eyes. “Remember the bet we made earlier?”

“The bet we made earlier?” Qin Fan was stunned for a moment, then asked, “You’re going to stay here?”

“Haha.” Si Huang was amused by his expression and shook her head. “I have a new idea. I don’t need you to do anything with me. Instead, you take me to do something romantic.”

Qin Fan was expressionless. “What do you want to do in this weather?”

“That’s something you should think of.” Si Huang said with an attitude of leaving everything to him.

Qin Fan frowned, looking somewhat troubled. Si Huang hadn’t held out much expectation, preferring to see him struggle; achieving her goal was enough to make her happy.

However, the man didn’t hesitate for long. He took out his phone, sent a message, and started the car.

Si Huang raised an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. Could he have actually come up with something romantic? A candlelight dinner? Or a walk in the rain? In this torrential downpour, neither seemed like a good choice!

After nearly half an hour, the car stopped in the underground parking garage of a supermarket.

“Get out,” Qin Fan said, opening the door first.

Si Huang, filled with curiosity, followed him.

Once inside the supermarket, Qin Fan offered to push a cart. “Take whatever you like.”

“You’re treating me to this?” Si Huang stared at him strangely, a mixture of amusement and exasperation. She really wanted to dig out his head to see if this was his understanding of romance? Was he doing this on purpose?

Qin Fan didn’t offer any further explanation. “Just take it.”

“You’re something else.” Si Huang had nothing to say. Anyway, she wanted to see what the man would do, so she might as well eat supermarket groceries.

She grabbed a few bags of instant food from the shelf and threw them into the shopping cart. Just as Si Huang was about to grab some potato chips, the man grabbed her hand. “Eating so many snacks isn’t good. Get some vegetables.”

“Huh?” Si Huang understood what was going on, and then honestly said, “Never mind, I know how bad your cooking is.”

This hit a nerve with the man, and a glare that could scare a child fell upon him, but Si Huang didn’t react at all.

Helpless, Qin Fan could only rely on his memory to specifically pick out a few ingredients that Si Huang liked.

Si Huang seemed indifferent, but she was actually secretly observing Qin Fan. When she saw that he had chosen the right ones, her smile became more radiant.

Just the fact that the man could remember her preferences made it irrelevant whether he understood romance or not.

After taking care of the groceries, Qin Fan went to buy a change of clothes for each of them.

While buying clothes, he stood in front of the women’s clothing for a few seconds, hesitated, and then looked at Si Huang, as if waiting for her to say something.

Si Huang remained silent, and the latter turned to grab men’s T-shirts and trousers.

After buying everything they needed, Qin Fan pushed the shopping cart to the checkout, with Si Huang following comfortably beside him.

Although the supermarket wasn’t crowded, quite a few people had already noticed the two of them, and some were whispering amongst themselves.

Under the scrutiny of some curious glances, Qin Fan calmly and confidently paid with online banking, while Si Huang showed no restraint whatsoever.

Although the two didn’t do anything overtly intimate, the naturally harmonious atmosphere they exuded made it difficult for others to intrude, inevitably raising suspicions about their relationship.

“Let’s go,” Qin Fan said, taking the initiative to lift both large bags.

Si Huang chewed gum, took out a piece, and fed it to him, keeping pace with him. While Qin Fan, with both hands full of groceries, opened his mouth and ate it.

The fragrant taste couldn’t compare to Si Huang’s natural smile towards him.

Qin Fan’s brows relaxed, and without his imposing presence, his handsome features immediately stood out, drawing the attention of several women around him, including Si Huang, who was now staring at him with fiery passion.

Unfortunately, all those flirtatious glances were wasted.

Qin Fan tossed the shopping bags into the back seat, got back into the driver’s seat, and drove off after Si Huang fastened her seatbelt.

Seems like he has a plan?

Si Huang’s curiosity was piqued.
