Gu Yuzheng looked at the camera and suddenly met Sheng Ziyou’s half-closed eyes.

His face flushed slightly, and he seemed unsure where to look. However, he maintained a calm demeanor, so apart from his constantly shifting gaze, it was impossible to tell that he was nervous.

But his movements became disordered, and he seemed somewhat distracted.

Sheng Ziyou smiled and shook her head, deciding not to disturb them any longer. She stood up and said, “Alright, I’m going back to sleep now. You guys should break it up soon too. Your sleep schedule is already regular, so there’s no need to break it for now. Go to bed early and get up early.”

“Okay, goodnight, Teacher Sheng.”

“Goodnight, Teacher Sheng.”

“See you tomorrow, Teacher Sheng!”

“Good night.” Sheng Ziyou waved and left with her coat.

She didn’t close the door; it was time for them to pack up and go home.

Ji Ran’s gaze followed her back until it disappeared through the doorway, and he couldn’t bear to look away.

He himself was starting to not understand himself anymore.

A moment later, just as he was about to look away, Jiao Xiu passed by the door.

His steps were very hurried, clearly indicating that he had a specific purpose.

That direction… was the direction Sheng Ziyou had left in…

Ji Ran couldn’t help but stand up and follow.

Sheng Ziyou lived upstairs. After getting off the elevator, she walked towards her room. Only the instructors lived on this floor. Wen Shanshan had been leading her students in late-night practice recently, so there was naturally no one else on this floor at the moment.

She stopped at the door, but instead of opening it, she asked calmly, “Waiting for me?”

These three words echoed in the empty corridor.

A moment later, Jiao Xiu came out from the stairwell with a smile on his face: “Teacher Sheng.”

Sheng Ziyou turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow in confusion: “Jiao Xiu, what do you want to see me about?”

Jiao Xiu just smiled and didn’t say anything, slowly approaching her.

Her eyes were half-closed as she patiently waited to see what he was planning.

This kid… isn’t as honest and cute as the other boys.

Jiao Xiu moved closer to Sheng Ziyou, his eyes slightly narrowed, his voice a little hoarse and ambiguous: “Teacher Sheng… I want to tell you, I like you…”

Sheng Ziyou remained expressionless, revealing no emotion whatsoever from his words.

Jiao Xiu had no choice but to get closer.

After a moment, she raised an eyebrow and sized up Jiao Xiu.

It was only then that she realized that he was dressed very lightly today.

He was wearing the same jackets as the trainees, but underneath he was wearing close-fitting clothes, with the jacket zipper pulled low, revealing glimpses of his body.

Jiao Xiu’s group was assigned blue uniforms, but in order to make it easier for the audience to see which group they belonged to during practice, they redistributed uniforms in three different colors.

He put a lot of thought into his outfit today; he actually looked quite alluring in that blue coat.

A boy’s thinness and naivety, mixed with a certain allure, were actually very attractive.

Sheng Ziyou then looked at Jiao Xiu’s face; his features were undoubtedly very handsome.

If you’re not good-looking, of course you can’t have such high popularity.

He was the most popular pretty boy type at the time, and in the original text, he later became a very popular star.

But now, because of this butterfly, this promising young man was starting to get anxious.

This led him to resort to unspoken rules and practices.

Clearly, this person was now from the “Princess Recommendation Board”.

Jiao Xiu knew exactly how to use his charm. His fingers unconsciously traced lightly across his neck as he tilted his head slightly. “Teacher Sheng…aren’t we going inside to talk?”

His gesture seemed like a show of weakness, which could easily attract a woman’s attention, perhaps making her soften her heart or tempt her.

But Sheng Ziyou didn’t. She just looked at him calmly and said in a low voice, “Jiao Xiu, you should go back.”

When she said those words, Jiao Xiu’s face turned pale instantly. If it were a woman with less self-control, she might have actually softened.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t Sheng Ziyou’s type.

Sheng Ziyou was not soft-hearted at all.

Even if he were Sheng Ziyou’s type, she wouldn’t be soft-hearted if it were offered to her at this time.

“Teacher Sheng… I really like you…” Jiao Xiu said softly, his eyes even a little moist.

Who says boys can’t be “pitiful and charming”?

At least Jiao Xiu’s appearance was extremely attractive to assertive women.

Sheng Ziyou remained unmoved.

After a moment, Jiao Xiu’s vulnerability vanished, replaced by a forlorn expression: “Goodnight, Teacher Sheng.”

He turned around, his eyes dark and inky.

Even if he offered himself to her, does she still not like it?

His prized charm was once again shattered by Sheng Ziyou.

Jiao Xiu’s face was very unpleasant as he turned his back to Sheng Ziyou.

Soon, he disappeared from Sheng Ziyou’s sight.

However, Sheng Ziyou did not open the door and remained standing in the same spot.

“How much longer do you have to watch?” she asked slowly.

Jiao Xiu’s attention was completely focused on Sheng Ziyou, so much so that he didn’t notice the noise coming from that corner.

As soon as Sheng Ziyou finished speaking, Ji Ran, biting his lip and looking pale, walked out.

He had been hiding behind the fire exit door and heard everything they said.

“Ji Ran, don’t do that again. What you just did was very dangerous.” If Sheng Ziyou really intended to let Jiao Xiu in, then Ji Ran, who overheard the secret, would be in considerable danger.

Sometimes, it’s better not to have too much curiosity.

Ji Ran couldn’t help but step forward, his eyes filled with anger and an indescribable flame: “Teacher Sheng, Jiao Xiu is no good!”

Sheng Ziyou raised an eyebrow.

“He definitely has ulterior motives. You can’t let him… let him tempt you!” Ji Ran emphasized the last two words.

The boy was clearly very thin and his face was sickly pale, but his eyes were burning with fire.

In Sheng Ziyou’s opinion, putting aside Lu He, Ji Ran was actually better looking than Jiao Xiu.

She wanted to tease him a little, so she leaned against the door and smiled, “He has no ulterior motives. As long as I take him in, he doesn’t need to scheme for anything.”

Jiao Xiu’s thoughts were not hard to guess. He wanted to keep first place and didn’t ask Sheng Ziyou for help. He just didn’t want Sheng Ziyou to help others and cause him more trouble.

Ji Ran’s eyes widened, she bit her lower lip, and said hatefully, “He definitely has ulterior motives, he wants to… wants to harm you!”

After a moment, as if he had just realized something, he suddenly looked into her eyes and said, “Was it because I was here that you didn’t want him to go in?!”

Sheng Ziyou shook her head with a smile; this kid is too easily startled.

She was about to talk things out with Ji Ran and tell him to go back and stay out of it.

Before she could speak, Ji Ran suddenly unzipped his jacket and glared at her: “If you need anything… just… just come to me. I won’t give up anything, I won’t hurt you, and I won’t tell anyone. Don’t go to Jiao Xiu!”
