There were so many people in the hospital and everyone around them was staring at them, mainly with amazed looks.

With the report clutched in one hand and Lu Huan’s sleeve in the other, Su Xi led him to the quiet, non-smoking corridor. Gu Qin and Huo Jingchuan, feeling uneasy about this suddenly appearing young man, quickly followed.

The four of them stood in the hallway. Su Xi released Lu Huan’s sleeve, turned around and looked at him face to face, still feeling that it was all very unreal.

She felt like she was walking on clouds, her head spinning— this fantastical feeling was no different from suddenly seeing Doraemon appear in front of her…

At the same time, she felt a joy of having something lost and then found; she had almost thought she would never see her baby again.

She touched her forehead; she didn’t have a fever, nor had she eaten any poisonous mushrooms.

She reached out to touch the boy’s forehead again— but when she raised her hand, she found that she could only touch his neck. He was taller than she had imagined, so Su Xi awkwardly raised her hand a little more before she could touch his forehead.

It felt cool, with a slight sheen of sweat on his skin— a real, tangible sensation.

Su Xi opened her mouth slightly, stared at him blankly for a while, and thought, “My goodness, did the baby really jump out of the phone screen?”

Lu Huan’s dark eyes were fixed on Su Xi, as if he wanted to embrace her again but was trying his best to restrain himself. After a moment, he asked in a deep voice, “By the way, why did you come to see the doctor? Is something wrong?”

Huo Jingchuan, standing next to him, burst out laughing: “Doctor, hahaha, doctor, bro, why are you being so literary? Haven’t you recovered from filming yet? By the way, which crew are you from? Your clothes look kind of similar.”

He couldn’t resist touching Lu Huan’s imperial robes all over his body.

Lu Huan glanced at him, his face darkening, and grabbed his wrist.

Lu Huan didn’t use much force, but Huo Jingchuan felt like his wrist was about to break in an instant. His face contorted, and he hurriedly said, “Let go, let go, Su Xi, my hand is about to break—!”

Su Xi quickly reassured him, “Alright, baby, be gentle. The bones of the people here are quite brittle and can’t take it.”

Lu Huan felt a little wronged, but didn’t say anything and gently released Huo Jingchuan.

Huo Jingchuan glared at Lu Huan, but when Lu Huan looked over, he felt a chill and quickly rubbed his wrist, hiding behind Gu Qin, he complained, “Su Xi, where did you make this friend? He must have practiced martial arts. Are his costumes expensive? He won’t even let me touch them.”

Lu Huan recognized Huo Jingchuan as the boy he had seen in the curtain that day, the one Su Xi’s parents had brought to the dinner table for a “blind date.” His expression immediately turned somewhat unpleasant.

But when Su Xi looked over, he immediately composed himself, pursed his lips, and lowered his eyes: “I just don’t like outsiders touching me.”

Su Xi was already overjoyed to have her son back, and she wanted to hold onto him tightly, afraid of losing him again. Now, seeing his aggrieved look, Su Xi’s heart clenched, and she quickly said, “Okay, they won’t touch you.”

Huo Jingchuan & Gu Qin: …

“But how exactly did you get here?” Su Xi pulled Lu Huan aside and asked in a low voice.

She was still deeply moved and amazed. She had thought that being able to connect two worlds through a mobile phone screen was already incredibly magical, but she never expected that time travel would actually happen and her baby would appear in front of her as if he had suddenly become a living person.

Lu Huan briefly explained mission fifteen and the white light that appeared before him. After arriving, he found himself in Su Xi’s room and saw a memo on the refrigerator indicating that she was to come to the hospital today, so he hurriedly came to find it.

Su Xi’s eyes widened upon hearing this. It turned out she hadn’t guessed wrong; the big gift package after 200 points really was this! But a problem arose: her son was here, but her phone was broken. How was he going to get back?

He couldn’t possibly not go back, he didn’t have an ID card here!

…But thinking about this now was pointless. Let’s not think about it for now and wait until we get the new phone with the transferred data tomorrow.

Su Xi stared at Lu Huan in front of her with wide, unbelievable eyes.

Seeing that her lips were dry and pale, as if she were ill, Lu Huan couldn’t help but reach out and touch her forehead.

But Su Xi immediately interrupted him: “Don’t move.”

Her eyes widened, and she couldn’t help but stand on tiptoe and touch the hair of the boy in front of her. Lu Huan’s hair was as thick as clouds, tied up with a gold hairpin, like a waterfall.

Although she was used to seeing him on her phone screen, it was still unbelievable that he suddenly appeared in front of her in real life.

Su Xi gently tugged at Lu Huan’s long, black hair, her heart instantly turning into a screaming chicken. Oh my god! It’s real hair! Baby’s hair is so long!

She touched Lu Huan’s face again, brushed against his exquisitely handsome eyebrows and eyes, her fingertips landing on his eyelashes, and then on his face— Su Xi could hardly contain her excitement. Damn, his face was warm too, it was real!

She touched Lu Huan from head to toe, even squatting down to touch his clothes and boots, and casually touched his knees— finally, she could confirm for sure that it was a living baby! She was about to cry!

Su Xi looked excited, while Lu Huan’s ears turned slightly red. He looked down at her, letting her squeeze the doll with curiosity.

When she tiptoed and touched his earlobe, he trembled as if electrocuted. He finally couldn’t help but gently grasp her hand and whisper, “Xiao Xi, are you looking for something on me?”

Huo Jingchuan and Gu Qin couldn’t bear to watch. Damn it, what kind of behavior is this, touching each other like this in public? They simply didn’t want to admit that Su Xi was their friend anymore!

However, Huo Jingchuan also noticed that the kid’s hair looked so realistic, not like a wig. He couldn’t help but urge Gu Qin to touch it, saying, “That kid is filming, right? But why does it look like he’s not wearing a wig? And that hairpin in his hair looks just like the real thing?”

Gu Qin was completely stunned by his handsomeness. She murmured, “He’s probably a minor actor from a nearby film crew, but it’s so unbelievable. This face— such an outrageously handsome face— why isn’t he famous yet?”

“You girls only care about looks. Is his personality any better than mine?” Huo Jingchuan retorted, then whispered, “How does Su Xi know this guy?”

Gu Qin exclaimed in frustration, “How should I know?! Judging from the way they met each other, they’ve known each other for more than just a day or two… and she’s been keeping it a secret from us all this time!”

….

After Su Xi and Lu Huan had completely recovered from the joy of meeting, half an hour had passed. During that half hour, Huo Jingchuan and Gu Qin had been watching Su Xi touch him, and the boy’s ears turning red, but how he tried his best to keep a straight face and pretended to be calm…

Huo Jingchuan was almost driven crazy and couldn’t help but remind her, “Su Xi, are we going to get the medicine or not? If we keep dawdling, the hospital will have its closing time!”

Su Xi then remembered the important matter at hand, and said to Lu Huan with a smile, “I’ll go get the medicine, wait for me a moment.”

Lu Huan said, “I’ll go. I’ve already learned many things about your world. You’ll see.”

He pulled Su Xi back into the corridor, found her a seat, took the prescription from her hand, checked it against his eyes, and then headed straight for the pharmacy window.

Lu Huan was dressed in a long robe with gold thread, bright yellow tassels, and noble rank, leading many people to mistake him for a young star filming nearby.

But he had genuinely practiced martial arts and served on the battlefield, and his demeanor was incomparable to any other teenage idol of his age in this world.

So wherever he went, he immediately attracted a lot of admiring glances, to the point that the crowd unconsciously parted slightly to make way for him and started talking about it.

Su Xi watched as he lined up, obediently moved forward, and successfully got the medicine from the window. She thought to herself, “Damn, I didn’t expect my little one to have figured out the complicated medical procedures. His thick notes weren’t for nothing!”

Of course, the amazement in Su Xi’s eyes was utterly baffling to Huo Jingchuan and Gu Qin— it was just picking up medicine, what was so amazing about that?! Look at Su Xi’s face, so excited, like her ‘my three-year-old can run errands by himself’! They thought Su Xi had gone mad!

Being constantly watched like this wasn’t a good thing. Su Xi was afraid it might cause unnecessary trouble, such as it being found out that Lu Huan was not from this world, didn’t have an ID card, was an unregistered resident, and getting arrested.

So before we can find a way to get him back, we still need to find a place for Lu Huan to settle down.

It’s definitely not allowed in my own home. Even though there’s an empty room, if I suddenly bring a boy home, the house will definitely explode!

Su Xi, with a sudden flash of inspiration, nudged Huo Jingchuan with her elbow: “Huo Jingchuan, haven’t your parents gone abroad for vacation recently? Aren’t you all alone at home?”

Huo Jingchuan’s eyelids twitched when he saw Su Xi’s expression: “What do you want to do?”

Su Xi: “Let my friend stay at your place for a few days…”

Before he could finish speaking, Huo Jingchuan immediately refused: “No!”

Su Xi: “Who said they wanted a Gundam last time…”

Huo Jingchuan’s mouth watered: “Deal! But let me make this clear, he can’t hit me!” For some reason, even though it was their first meeting, he felt that this guy was hostile towards him.

“Why would he hit you?” Su Xi immediately looked at Huo Jingchuan with a puzzled expression, her face saying, “Our little one is so well-behaved, so gentle, so smart, he’s practically flawless, how could he possibly hit you!”

Huo Jingchuan: …
