At six o’clock in the morning, the cafeteria hall was restored to its usual cleanliness, with the floor mopped spotless and even slippery.

The 54 people were scattered throughout the cafeteria, eating their breakfast and reflecting on their behavior the day before.

People began to enter the cafeteria one after another, smiling and greeting their classmates, discussing the classes they would be attending and the upcoming final exams.

No one knew how chaotic and filthy the late-night diner was yesterday…

Nan Xiangwan ate several steamed buns for breakfast. She didn’t know why she particularly wanted to eat steamed buns today, even though the cafeteria had them every day, and they weren’t that delicious.

Her palate had long been spoiled by Gu Beihuai.

After breakfast, she went back to her dorm to get her tablet and books and then headed to the classroom.

Halfway there, she ran into someone.

Luo Wei walked over with an awkward expression and greeted her, “Well, Nan Xiangwan, we’ve received a mission. You’ll need to come to our ship for a test flight.”

Nan Xiangwan: “Oh, what kind of warship are you talking about?”

Luo Wei touched his nose: “Aircraft carrier.”

Nan Xiangwan: “Holy crap?”

Overwhelmed with excitement and shock, she aggravated the spot on her back where she had been punched several times, causing a throbbing pain.

Nan Xiangwan’s expression immediately twisted: “Tear—”

Luo Wei staggered back several meters in an instant, his expression terrified: “What are you doing? I didn’t touch you!”

Nan Xiangwan waved her hand, about to speak.

But Luo Wei had already turned and disappeared in a flash…

Nan Xiangwan: “Damn! What a coward!”

….

This weekend, Nan Xiangwan got a day off and planned to visit her grandfather at the military compound.

Nan Chaoyang originally wanted to go too, but he didn’t get his application approved and could only watch his sister leave from the school gate.

The paparazzi duo, Da Dan and Xiao Dan, who had been waiting for a while, got excited and immediately drove off to follow.

They were both in such a terrible state!

Despite Nan Xiangwan studying in Beijing for so long, they didn’t manage to capture any of her daily life, but paparazzi in Shanghai did manage to photograph her building a snow plane.

Even building a snow plane could trend on social media, which almost made Da Dan and Xiao Dan vomit blood, feeling like they missed out on eight million.

The two had planned today’s filming carefully, checking both the Chinese almanac and the weather forecast.

There would be heavy snow tonight and tomorrow morning. Beijing was in the north, and in the north, if it snowed overnight, the snow could be thick enough to bury a car.

Then… hehehe!

Nan Xiangwan left the school wearing casual clothes, a mask, and a hat, and walked towards her grandfather’s house.

She received a phone call halfway there; it was from Aunt Ye Feimei.

Ye Feimei: “Wan Wan! You have the day off today, right?”

Nan Xiangwan: “Hmph!”

Ye Feimei: “The courtyard house that Auntie prepared for you has been renovated, and all the furniture has been bought. Would you like to come and take a look?”

Nan Xiangwan: “Oh? Okay, okay!”

Ye Feimei: “Should I send you the address, or should I come pick you up?”

Nan Xiangwan: “I’ll go by myself.”

Ye Feimei: “Okay, I’ll give you the unlock code. You can check it yourself. Are you coming over for dinner tonight?”

Nan Xiangwan thought for a moment and then refused: “I want to go to my maternal grandfather’s house for dinner.”

Ye Feimei: “Good child!”

And so, Da Dan and Xiao Dan were following along just fine when they suddenly realized that Nan Xiangwan had turned around!

Da Dan: “Damn it, stop the car, turn around, turn around!”

Xiao Dan: “No, no way! It’s a one-way street!”

Da Dan: “It’s over…”

Nan Xiangwan knew that the two paparazzi were following her, but she didn’t pay much attention to them and quickened her pace to the address given by Aunt Ye Feimei.

Once she got there, it always felt very familiar.

She had been to this place, to this courtyard house!

She glanced at the doorway a few times, then looked at the distant scenery before entering the password to open the door and go inside.

Sure enough, she saw the big stone table in the courtyard!

Even the pomegranate tree next to it was exactly the same!

However, after being completely renovated, it was now completely different from the shabby courtyard where she used to live. The courtyard now looked like it had been meticulously crafted, exuding elegance and sophistication.

Nan Xiangwan took a quick stroll around. The room where she used to sleep had been turned into the master bedroom, with a large carved bed.

All the other rooms were also fully furnished, and it was clear that everything had been carefully selected and arranged beautifully.

Nan Xiangwan immediately ran to the yard, took a picture, and posted it in the group chat.

[The perennial runner-up, the honey badger]

“Honey Badger: [Image]”

“Honey Badger: @Crystal”

“Crystal: ??”

“Crystal: Seriously, Honey Badger, you went to someone’s house again?”

“Honey Badger: Pay up! Lodging fees! Pay me for everything you’ve slept with, two thousand a night!”

“Canghai: ??”

“Wushuang: ??”

“Shura: What’s wrong, Honey Badger? I can help you.”

“Honey Badger: This courtyard house is mine! I just found out it’s mine! You guys, pay me!”

“Crystal: Your friend Crystal has logged off.”

“Canghai: Your friend Canghai has logged off.”

“Peerless: You’re not even going to change it?”

“Wushuang: Your friend Wushuang has logged off.”

“Shura: @Honey Badger, I’ll help you catch them, and we’ll split the money.”

“Honey Badger: Approved.”

“Shura: Holy crap, you’re too arrogant! You’re treating me like a thug?”

“Honey Badger: Xiao Luo, let’s go!”

[Shura changed the group name to “Drunken Amnesiac Honey Badger”]

Nan Xiangwan exploded!

Why bring up something you shouldn’t talk about?

….

In the evening, Nan Xiangwan arrived at her maternal grandfather’s house.

There was no one else at home. The nanny had prepared a big meal.

Grandpa sat in the main seat, opened a bottle of Moutai, and drank it sip by sip.

Nan Xiangwan lowered her head and ate her food, finishing every last bite.

Her grandfather looked at her and asked, “Not drinking?”

Nan Xiangwan: “Grandpa, I’m only 18 years old.”

Grandpa seemed to have thought of something and suddenly said, “Your uncle could drink a whole pot of liquor when he was 18!”

Nan Xiangwan looked up: “Uncle?”

Grandpa suddenly stopped talking and started drinking in silence.

After dinner, Nanxiang lay down in her mother’s childhood room with her tablet to study. It was almost the end of the semester, and she was always so busy at the end of the year.

Exams, annual assessments, new albums, and so on kept her so busy that she sometimes almost forgot she was a time traveler.

During this time, she looked up at the old photos on the wall several times.

When she was young, Xin Zi was dashing and spirited, but when she was even younger, she wore an ill-fitting military uniform and a huge military cap that covered most of her face, revealing only the lower half of her bright and innocent smile.

Nan Xiangwan noticed that this photo was not a solo shot; there should be another person next to her, but they were half-covered by other photos.

She thought for a moment, then walked over and gently lifted the photo covering it.

Oh, there was a young man whose features were very similar to her mother’s, but clearly different from her grandfather’s.

Is this my uncle?

Nan Xiangwan learned for the first time that she had an uncle.

The uncle in the photo was about 20 years old. He was dressed in casual clothes, with handsome features and a dazzling demeanor. His aura was like a sharp sword, about to soar into the sky!

He was obviously not an ordinary person.

After covering the photo again, Nan Xiangwan went back to bed to continue studying until evening, when she got up to go to the living room for a drink of water.

When she turned on the light, she was surprised to find her grandfather still sitting there, the wine bottle in front of him almost empty.

The old man seemed lost in thought, sitting there quietly with a cup of wine in front of him. There was also a cup of wine on the seat where Nan Xiangwan had sat across from him.

A full cup, yet no one clinked their glass.

Nan Xiangwan sat down opposite her grandfather, raised her glass of wine, and clinked glasses with him.

Clink!

The glass goblet made a tinkling sound.

Nan Xiangwan took a sip, her eyes sparkling, and said, “Grandpa, tell me about Uncle?”

The old man’s eyes finally lit up, and he began to speak fluently and eloquently.

But as he was talking, he noticed that his little granddaughter across from him had already passed out, completely drunk!
