The driver was taken aback, then replied in heavily accented Mandarin, “Where is the urban village?”

Qu Feng froze. He had been running a bit too fast and was drinking water when he almost spat it out: “What? Master, you don’t know where the urban village is either?”

“There aren’t any urban villages here?” The driver was also confused.

Qu Feng began to question, “Master, are you familiar with this city?”

The driver could tell they were filming a TV show, and he was quite patient: “I’ve been running this business here for twenty years, how would I know about any urban villages! There aren’t any! Trust me!”

Qu Feng was dumbfounded and looked at Sheng Ziyou.

“So… where are the urban villages? Damn, the first challenge for the show is this difficult!!”

Sheng Ziyou was also a little confused, but after thinking for a moment, she asked, “Are there any villages very close to this city? Or any famous villages?”

The driver continued in his dialect-speaking Mandarin, “Villages? There are plenty. Which one do you want to go to?”

Qu Feng subconsciously sought Sheng Ziyou’s opinion: “The most recent one?”

Sheng Ziyou frowned, looking puzzled. After thinking for a moment, she said, “Master, do you have a map here?”

“I don’t,” the driver shook his head.

Sheng Ziyou then said, “Master, could you wait for us for a while? I’ll go to where we came from and find a map.”

“Okay.” The master was quite patient.

Sheng Ziyou was about to get out of the car when Qu Feng stopped her: “Where can I find a map?”

She replied with a smile, “Yes, when I came out just now, I saw a travel agency brochure on the shelf by the door. It should have a map on it.”

Qu Feng thought for a moment, then decided to act like a gentleman: “I’ll go take a look. You wait for me here.”

As he spoke, he got out of the car and ran away in a flash.

Sheng Ziyou didn’t chase after them. Instead, she calmly took out her phone and glanced at it.

She received a text message as soon as she ran out, saying that Qu Feng was there, but she didn’t dare to look.

She opened it, and it said— [City Center].

Really!

There were clues given to the spy!

Sheng Ziyou glanced at it, deleted it immediately, and started talking to the driver, learning about the city.

When Qu Feng returned, he saw Sheng Ziyou, who was communicating with the driver with a look of despair on her face.

“We got it. It really has a map on it. So what are we going to do?” Qu Feng asked.

Sheng Ziyou had originally planned to visit the city center, but now that she had received that text message, she couldn’t bring herself to say it.

So, she looked at the map with a conflicted expression: “But I don’t think it’s very likely that we’ll actually go to the village, right? And there are so many villages, and they’re all so far away. Which village should we go to?”

Qu Feng agreed with this: “Yes, we don’t even have enough for the fare to travel this far.”

Sheng Ziyou traced her finger across the map, mainly around the city center: “But there are no villages in this city, only some tourist attractions.”

Qu Feng was also looking at the map, his gaze inadvertently following her hand.

Suddenly, Qu Feng’s eyes lit up: “Urban village, could it not refer to a village in the city, but to a shop name, or something else?”

Sheng Ziyou was stunned for a moment, then looked at him excitedly: “Yes, that’s possible!!”

But after a moment, she became somewhat discouraged: “But even if it’s the store name, we can’t find it.”

Qu Feng looked at her, smiled, shook his head, and said smugly, “Master, go straight to the city center.”

“City Center? That’s Jiacheng Plaza.” The driver said, stepping on the gas and setting off.

Sheng Ziyou blinked, looking curious: “Why?”

Qu Feng explained to her, “This takes experience. The production team usually won’t really let us not find it. If they say ‘urban village,’ if we can’t find the village, then we should look for the city first. Generally speaking, if they only say to go to the city, then we should go to the city center. The first episode was a bit like this. In the second challenge of the first episode, they told us to go to a square, but there were five squares in total. Going to the square in the city center was the right thing to do.”

“Oh—” Sheng Ziyou suddenly realized, “Then let’s go take a look first, it’s not far from the city center.”

“Yes, and there’s a city in Jiacheng Plaza, let’s go take a look first.” Qu Feng still felt there was a good chance.

“Teacher Qu, you’re amazing!” Sheng Ziyou exclaimed with admiration.

Qu Feng coughed, a hint of pride in his voice, but he held back, finally saying calmly, “Let’s go take a look first.”

The car quickly drove towards the city center. The fare was only ten yuan, which Qu Feng paid directly.

“How about we split it equally?” Sheng Ziyou tried to take out her money.

“No need, no need, it’s just ten yuan. Since we’re in a team for a long time, we’ll spend your money when I run out,” Qu Feng said generously.

Sheng Ziyou nodded obediently: “Okay then.”

Qu Feng’s eyes began to dart around: “Urban village? Where is it? How come the production team hasn’t provided any information about it?!”

As they talked, the two walked toward the square.

“There are several cameras over there!” Qu Feng suddenly noticed something, tugged at Sheng Ziyou, and his eyes lit up with excitement.

Sheng Ziyou, who had already noticed, rolled her eyes and exclaimed, “It really is! Teacher Qu is amazing!”

Later, viewers who watched the show a second time captured this eye-rolling moment and added captions for Sheng Ziyou—

[Can’t carry it!]

The cameramen were separate and were now facing the two of them. It seemed that the place they were looking for was indeed here, but where was there any village?

Several cars were parked nearby, and the staff got out and followed behind them. There were many people in this place, so they needed to protect them.

At this moment, someone recognized Qu Feng and Sheng Ziyou and excitedly ran over.

Do you know what an urban village is?

“I don’t know!” The girls were also confused; they wanted to take pictures with the two men.

Sheng Ziyou asked, “Are there any shops here called ‘urban villages’?”

The others shook their heads, saying they knew nothing.

“Let’s look for it,” Qu Feng said.

Sheng Ziyou nodded and followed behind him.

Qu Feng was walking to the left, but Sheng Ziyou noticed a small vendor in the center of the square almost immediately.

There was only one small vendor in the entire square, and he placed his stall right in the center.

This was clearly against the rules!

How could they possibly allow street vendors to sell things here! Especially in the very center of the city!!

There was a problem!!!

However, Qu Feng, heading straight to the left, didn’t notice at all.

Sheng Ziyou breathed a sigh of relief and chased after him, asking, “Where are we going?”

“Let’s look for any clues. I’m sure it’s in this square, but where?” Qu Feng stopped and looked around.

After a moment, his gaze finally shifted to the small vendor, and Sheng Ziyou breathed a sigh of relief.

“Teacher Qu, what’s wrong? I found…”

“Let’s have a roasted sweet potato first! We might not get anything good to eat this afternoon!” he said, pulling Sheng Ziyou along.

The two approached the vendor, and Qu Feng said, “I’d like to buy two sweet potatoes.”

He muttered to himself, “Ziyou, do you even know how to pick sweet potatoes? I’m terrible at picking things.”

Sheng Ziyou: “…”

Honey, can’t you see that huge “village” character in the basket where they put the sweet potatoes?!

She stiffly accepted the sweet potato Qu Feng offered, took a bite, and then, unable to resist any longer, pretended to be nonchalant—

“Uncle, this sweet potato of yours… wait, there are words on it?!”

Qu Feng immediately looked over and froze.

In the basket where the sweet potatoes were kept, there was a large piece of cardboard with the word “village” written on it.

The basket was very eye-catching, and the words were even more eye-catching, extremely eye-catching, and they were red too.

Qu Feng hadn’t even seen it yet, but Sheng Ziyou saw it almost as soon as she approached the stall…

“Urban village…”

A village in the city center…

“This is sooooooo…” Qu Feng swallowed hard, looked at the car of the production crew, and gave a thumbs up. “Awesome!”

“What do we do next?” Sheng Ziyou asked while munching on a sweet potato.

Qu Feng took out his card and looked at the old man who had just sold sweet potatoes: “Excuse me, where do I clock in?”

The old man smiled and then took a time clock out from under the car.

The two of them placed the cards against each other, and the phone rang twice at the same time.

One message indicated the location of the next mission, while the other was a group message indicating that they had passed the first hurdle.

The location of the next level was very specific—”Go to Liugu Building”.

“Let’s go!” The two of them grabbed sweet potatoes and headed straight for the roadside to hail a taxi.

At that moment, both of their phones started vibrating; someone was making a phone call.

Sheng Ziyou only picked up the car after the two got in.

Qu Feng had already hung up the phone. He looked at the camera with a smug expression and said, “They were definitely asking for information, but I’m not going to tell them!”

Sheng Ziyou answered the phone; it was Yu Chen calling.

“Junior sister!! Where did you find this place?! Where is this urban village?! Please, we’ve almost lost all our money.”

Sheng Ziyou looked at Qu Feng: “This…should I tell him?”

“I won’t tell him, I won’t tell him.” Qu Feng waved his hand and said with a sly smile, “I’ll only tell you if I pass the second test!”

“Tell me, junior sister! Qu Qu, you have no right to influence my junior sister’s decision!” Yu Chen retorted over the phone.

Sheng Ziyou smiled and said, “But I was just a bystander the whole time. It was Teacher Qu who led me to this place, so I will definitely listen to Teacher Qu.”

“Did you hear that, Ziyou? Listen to me!” Qu Feng said smugly.

On the phone, Yu Chen accused, “We’re all completely confused, but you’re the only one who found it so quickly. Are you a spy?!”

“I……”

Gu Yanlang also accused him—

“You must have information, that’s why you found it so quickly. Otherwise, with your IQ, how could you have been so fast! You’re a spy!”

“My goodness, we found the spy so early this time!”

Sheng Ziyou tightened her grip on her phone, looking at Qu Feng with a suspicious expression, her eyes full of doubt.

Qu Feng was stunned. He looked at his phone, then at Sheng Ziyou—

“Ziyou! You have to believe me, I’m definitely not a spy!!”
