At this time, the classroom door was pushed open and the head teacher walked in. He had just sent Admiral Lu away and wanted to come to the class to see what was going on, but he didn’t expect it to be so chaotic.

He knocked on the door: “Quiet, go back to your seats.”

The classmates were discussing enthusiastically and didn’t listen to him.

The head teacher took a deep breath and shouted: “Quiet!!!”

The discussion stopped abruptly.

The head teacher gave a wink to the subject teacher, and the other party understood and stepped down from the podium.

The homeroom teacher stepped onto the stage and looked at the class. “I’m sure you have many questions about what happened today. I can explain the reasons now, but I hope you’ll pay attention in class after hearing them.”

He watched the class nod softly, then smiled. “The military was here today to invite Bai Yue to enrol.”

“I’m sure you all know the name of the school.”

The homeroom teacher paused, building up anticipation before finally speaking: “The Empire’s premier institution—the Imperial First Comprehensive Military Academy!”

The class was silent for a second, then erupted in astonishment.

It was indeed so!

Although they had suspected it before, hearing it from the teacher’s mouth held a profound weight.

“Is it really about enrolment? What is Bai Yue’s genetic level?”

“Teacher, just tell me straight. This is something to be proud of!”

The homeroom teacher raised his hand to silence the students, then continued, “However, since the Imperial First is still awaiting a response, I believe more military academies will be coming soon. Everyone should follow Bai Yue’s example.”

Genetic level could be upgraded through hard work, but the effort required was a thousand times greater.

Even if it was impossible to enter a good university now. Having a goal could better inspire the fighting spirit of the students.

But now, compared to this, everyone cared more about another thing.

“Emperor No. 1” waiting for a reply?

Did they hear it right??

Faced with such an invitation, Bai Yue did not nod and agree directly?

The empire’s premier military academy? The TOP1 university that everyone dreams of?

This is really – too impressive!

The head teacher looked at the students’ reactions with satisfaction.

He felt that the reason why Bai Yue did not agree immediately was definitely because he had not thought it through. If he saw that the students were so envious, he might give in.

“Teacher–“

At this time, a classmate raised his hand in a long voice. The speaker was Du Qin’s friend. The seat next to him was empty, and Du Qin had not returned yet.

The male student asked, “Did the military make a mistake? Even if Bai Yue’s genetic level is exceptional, he’s just an Omega. What’s the point of sending him to the military academy?”

The homeroom teacher looked at him and asked, “What do you think Bai Yue’s genetic level is?”

The student hesitated for a moment and replied, “A-level?”

But then, thinking of his friend, he gritted his teeth and raised his score a little higher, “Or maybe A+?”

The concept of “+” was a bit vague. It signified being stronger than the original level but not quite reaching the next level.

In this student’s mind, “A+” was the highest level he could imagine.

The homeroom teacher shook his head.

Could it be even higher than A+?

The whole class’s heartbeats raced, a mixture of disbelief and incredulity. An Omega girl raised her hand and asked weakly, “Could it be S-level?”

As soon as she finished speaking, the entire class’s attention instantly focused on this Omega.

If someone they knew in real life claimed to be at that level, their first reaction would definitely be ridicule, thinking they were trying to get ahead of him.

But now, with the military trying to poach him, and the homeroom teacher stepping in to support him, they were… Could it be that Bai Yue really had…

The entire class couldn’t help but swallow.

However, the homeroom teacher still shook his head.

Not even S?

Seeing their teacher’s reaction, the students couldn’t tell whether they were disappointed or lost.

From what they had learned so far, S-level was the highest theoretical level of human existence, and there were only a handful of people who could reach it.

If Bai Yue really had such a high level, their hearts would probably burst with excitement. But he didn’t.

So what else could be possible?

The homeroom teacher, having whetted his appetite, slowly spoke, “Bai Yue’s genetic level is S+.”

Du Qin wandered outside the school.

This was the first time he had skipped class in ages. He had been a good student for over a decade, diligently studying to achieve top grades, and his genetic level lived up to expectations.

He couldn’t understand why, after all his dedicated service, a little Omega had stolen the limelight!?

The Imperial Military Academy was his dream university.

Admiral Lu was his dream Alpha.

And the military, too, was his dream career.

It should have been a good start, but it was shattered in that moment.

Du Qin’s mind replayed the previous scene.

Behind him was a sea of people, each with the same identical face. The piercing gazes from behind, whether sympathetic or mocking, were a thorn in his side.

What right did those people have to look at him like that? They were just a bunch of low-level humans, their futures limited to a life of mediocrity huddled in this tiny city of Luocheng.

He, on the other hand, would climb the ladder step by step after entering the military academy. He would seize power and wealth through his own strength.

Whatever he wanted, he would surely obtain it, no matter the means.

He would never forget the looks in those people’s eyes, the humiliation he felt, even if his life were over.

Du Qin clenched his fists tightly, his nails digging into his palms until blood was practically seeping out.

He never showed his emotions. Even in such a furious moment, his expression remained unchanged.

When the class was almost over, he took a deep breath, slowly exhaled, and turned to walk towards the school gate.

Just then, a hovercraft passed by, creating a puff of air before slowly coming to a stop.

Du Qin’s attention was drawn to it. The hovercraft’s design was so unusual, and from what he knew, it looked like an official military vehicle.

The officers who emerged from the vehicle confirmed his suspicions.

Soon, the principal and several teachers emerged from the academy, beaming with joy, to welcome the officers inside. Only one person remained waiting by the vehicle.

Du Qin hid in the shadows, emerging only after the others had left. He then walked towards the officer beside the car.

“Hello,” he said, his usual polite smile playing on his face. “I’m a third-year student at Luohua College.”

The officer turned and nodded. “Hello, student.”

Du Qin: “Excuse me, are the military looking for Bai Yue?”

The officer nodded. “Do you know him?”

Du Qin: “Bai Yue is my classmate. Someone from the Imperial First Military Academy just came looking for him an hour ago.”

Upon hearing this, a look of chagrin crossed the officer’s face.

They were late.

While their school had a good reputation, it was still far behind the Imperial First Military Academy. So, after receiving the firsthand information, they had planned to rush over as soon as possible, at least to have a chance.

But they had never expected that the Imperial First would be even faster than them!

The thought of missing out on such a talented student filled the officer with immense regret.

Du Qin noticed the officer’s reaction and asked, “Bai Yue’s genetic level must be excellent, but he’s only an Omega. Is he truly suited for military school?”

The officer, still reeling from the desolate feeling of having died before achieving his goal, didn’t dwell on the question and replied, “You’re mistaken. The ‘Bai Yue’ we’re looking for is an Alpha.”
