Ying Qiao came back after washing his hands and sat down next to Jiang Lan again.

His seat happened to be facing Hai An. When he sat down, he raised his eyelids, glanced at Hai An, and smiled at him.

How to describe this smile? It was five parts polite and five parts perfunctory, but underneath it was a lot of contempt.

Hai An saw this smile and he felt uncomfortable all over.

At this point he had already confirmed Ying Qiao’s hostility towards him.

He glanced at Jiang Lan, who was talking to Ying Qiao with his side profile, and roughly guessed the reason why the other party was unfriendly to him – the other party was probably concerned about his pursuit of Jiang Lan.

Hai An shook the glass and took a sip of red wine. He always believed in enjoying life while he could. He would pursue the person he liked passionately, and if he didn’t like the person anymore, he would let go without hesitation.

He never dragged his feet when it came to relationships. Jiang Lan and he had such a huge difference in food aesthetics that he had long lost the idea of having anything beyond friendship with him.

However, Ying Qiao’s attitude aroused his desire to win.

Hai An licked his lips and smiled, “Jiang, I heard that the night view of the Yangtze River is very beautiful. Do you have time tonight? I would like to ask you to be my guide.”

Hai An’s request was not excessive. As the host, Jiang Lan did not notice the secret rivalry between him and Ying Qiao, so he naturally agreed.

He agreed so readily that Ying Qiao had no time to stop him.

He pursed his lips, hiding the displeasure in his eyes, and continued, “I have been busy with other matters before, and have not been able to entertain you. Since we happened to meet today, it is better to do it today than to wait for another day. Jiang Lan and I will show you around the night view of Jiangcheng.”

Hai An’s proposal to tour the river view obviously did not include other people, but Ying Qiao said a few words and it turned into a group trip for the visiting delegation.

Hai An raised his lips, his blue eyes showing a provocative look: “It is a great honor for us to have Mr. Ying personally guide us.”

Ying Qiao made eye contact with him, and sparks flew: “As long as everyone can have fun.”

The two smiled at each other, an undercurrent surged in the air, and for a moment no one spoke at the table, even the sound of cups clinking became quieter.

Ed didn’t want to be dragged into such an inexplicable dispute, so he wisely kept silent. The humans following Hai An didn’t dare to speak and even breathed carefully.

Bi’an glanced at Ying Qiao, who was full of fighting spirit, and then looked at his brother, who was concentrating on finishing his dessert. He immediately showed an expression of watching a show.

Ying Gou’s posture of attracting hatred can be regarded as standard.

It’s a pity that he hit the wrong person.

Bi’an smiled but said nothing, not intending to tell him the truth.

The brief silence at the table was broken by Long Bing.

He came over with a wine glass in hand, and on his haggard face was a forced warm smile, but because he was trying too hard, it looked particularly stiff and hypocritical: “Mr. Ying, I have heard of your name for a long time. I have long been fascinated by the Ying Long clan, and I didn’t expect to see you here…”

Ying Qiao, who was in a bad mood, raised his eyelids and glanced at him, his wine glass firmly placed on the table, without even moving his fingers: “Are you here to ask me for an autograph?”

“?”

Long Bing’s expression froze, and for a moment he didn’t understand what he meant: “Autograph?”

Ying Qiao glanced at him with a half-smile, his expression cold and arrogant: “I’m sorry, there are too many people who admire me, I usually don’t give autographs to people casually.”

Long Bing’s reaction: …

The expression on his face changed several times, and even the hand holding the wine was shaking slightly.

However, the situation was beyond his control. His elder brother was still detained in the Monster Management Bureau, so he could not afford to lash out at will. He could only explain with a fake smile: “Mr. Ying may have misunderstood. I am not here to ask for an autograph. I came to you because I have something else I want to ask—”

“Do you not want an autograph?” Ying Qiao raised his eyebrows and interrupted him with arrogance. He waved his hands twice casually and said, “Then we have nothing else to talk about.”

After saying this with an expression that said “you can leave now”, he turned around and poured Jiang Lan a cup of black tea.

Being left out, Long Bing’s face turned the color of liver. He could bear it, but Long Yue, who was younger, could not stand such humiliation and said angrily, “Mr. Ying, is this how you treat your guests? You call yourselves a country of etiquette! I think you are nothing more than that!”

Ying Qiao glanced at him nonchalantly and sneered, “We have fine wine and delicious food to entertain guests with good intentions, but for vicious dogs that show off their power and bark in other people’s homes… we can only use sticks.”

His question was blunt: “Mr. Long Yue, which type do you think you are? Feel free to identify yourself.”

“…”

Long Yue’s face flushed, and he was unable to respond for a moment.

Although he knew that Ying Qiao was making an indirect accusation, Long Yue couldn’t just label himself as the “vicious dog”.

“Mr. Ying, we come to negotiate with you with sincerity.” Long Bing pulled Long Yue behind him and said frankly: “As long as you can hand the person over to us, you can put forward any conditions you want.”

“What are you talking about?” Ying Qiao looked surprised and turned to look at Jiang Lan: “Who do they want us to hand over? Do you understand?”

Jiang Lan cooperated by shaking his head, his face showing the same surprise and confusion as Ying Qiao; “I don’t understand.”

He even smiled at Long Bing and said politely, “Mr. Long Bing, you are distinguished guests who have come from afar. If you have any requests, you can just say it directly. There is no need to be so euphemistic. We will try our best to meet any requests that can be met.”

You can say whatever you want, but if I hear it, I lose.

The two of them sang in unison and performed flawlessly.

Long Bing thought he had been humble enough, but he only received continuous humiliation and ridicule. The fake smile on his face finally disappeared, and his expression became completely gloomy.

“Why do you two have to pretend to be ignorant when you know the truth? We don’t want to make things worse, so we are actively seeking a peaceful solution, but you should not go too far!”

Long Bing was aggressive, but Jiang Lan seemed to be oblivious. He even rubbed his ears and asked the others curiously, “Did you hear the dog barking just now?”

He said to himself, “Strange, how could a dog get into the hotel?”

Hai An, who was watching the fun, finally couldn’t help but burst out laughing, and looked sympathetically at Long Bing and his group, whose faces had turned black and blue.

Although the others did not laugh out loud, they were obviously trying very hard to hold it in.

Long Bing’s eyes were about to spit fire.

But Ying Qiao didn’t care. They were in the wrong first, and they had a hostage, so even if they gritted their teeth, they had to swallow it with blood.

“Maybe he sneaked in when the security guard wasn’t paying attention? Just send someone to chase him out.”

Ying Qiao was touched by Jiang Lan’s reaction and suppressed the urge to rub him. Instead, he quietly pinched his fingers under the table.

Jiang Lan pinched back immediately, and the two of them exchanged pleasant smiles tacitly.

Mixed doubles was fun.

Long Bing’s aggressive questioning not only did not get any response, but he was even scolded in a roundabout way. He was so angry that his head felt dizzy and his teeth were chattering before he finally resisted the urge to take action.

He smiled very reluctantly: “Since your bureau has no sincerity in negotiation, let’s leave it to the two governments to communicate.”

After saying that, he angrily threw his sleeves and left without looking back.

Jiang Lan raised his voice and asked him: “Mr. Long Bing, are you still going to see the river view tonight?”

Long Bing staggered and replied with gritted teeth, “No.”

Jiang Lan looked away regretfully and muttered quietly, “This ability to withstand attacks is too poor.”

He hadn’t had enough of this enjoyment.

Ying Qiao pinched his fingers and said casually: “Suffer more beatings from society, and you will be able to practice it.”

“That makes sense.” Jiang Lan nodded, his eyes curved. “We’ll help him practice next time.”

Others: …

It would be a waste of your talents if you two don’t make a debut to perform crosstalk.

….

After lunch, Jiang Lan, Hai An and others agreed on the time to go out in the evening and then said goodbye and left.

Hai An originally wanted to stab Ying Qiao again, but thinking of Long Bing’s miserable condition just now, he hesitated for a moment and chose a more friendly way of saying goodbye.

Seeing that he understood what was good for him, Ying Qiao glanced at him lightly before leaving side by side with Jiang Lan.

Bi’an also went with them. During the short journey, Jiang Lan acted as a lubricant and tried to create a harmonious atmosphere between the fourth brother and Ying Qiao.

But when Jiang Lan arrived at the parking lot, he was dumbfounded – three people drove two cars.

He stood in the middle, with his fourth brother on his left and his boyfriend on his right, and was suddenly hesitant and in a dilemma.

Whose car should I take?
