When Hua Manxi lowered the carriage curtain, he casually pressed Beitang Ming’s acupoint. Poor Beitang Ming could only sit stiffly in the carriage, unable to speak or move.

Hua Manxi lowered the carriage curtain and said to Long Xiangluo, “Princess Luo, it’s getting late, let’s go into the city!”

Long Xiangluo held her breath, glared at Yun Qianyu, and turned to get into the carriage.

Hua Manxi raised his eyebrows at Yun Qianyu, meaning, thank me!

Yun Qianyu rolled her eyes at him and also turned to get into the carriage.

Hua Manxi chuckled as he watched Yun Qianyu get into the carriage, muttering, “How can she roll her eyes so beautifully! Oh no, this young master is seriously poisoned!”

Yujian didn’t hear it, but Feng Ran heard it clearly. He gritted his teeth and vowed to find a time to “spar” with Hua Manxi.

The carriage entered the city and headed straight for the inn.

Inside the inn, the innmaster had already prepared for the arrival; he had been suffering terribly these past two days!

Long Xiangluo alighted from the carriage and instructed the accompanying envoy to immediately go to the palace to present a petition of apology.

Meanwhile, Beitang Ming, upon exiting the carriage, angrily exclaimed, “How dare you acupuncture my pressure points?”

Hua Manxi looked at Beitang Ming suspiciously and said, “Seventh Prince, you were perfectly fine when you got into the carriage, but now you’re claiming to have been acupunctured. Could it be that someone is hiding in your carriage? For your safety, I should send men to search it!”

Hua Manxi made a gesture as if to order the Tiger Guards behind him to search the carriage!

Beitang Ming then realized what was the use of his words; who knew he had been acupunctured? It was all Hua Manxi’s fault for being so cunning. Did he have feelings for the Princess Protector? Beitang Ming’s unintentional guess had uncovered the truth!

“That young master of the Rongguo Kingdom, I fell asleep in the carriage and was just talking in my sleep!”

“Oh, Seventh Prince, you must be very tired from your journey. It’s understandable. Please go in and rest!” Hua Manxi immediately went along with the situation, warmly ushering Beitang Ming into the inn, making sure he had no chance to get close to Yun Qianyu.

Yun Qianyu entered the inn and didn’t concern herself with anything, only watching the arrangements made by Yujian, occasionally offering a word of advice on any oversights.

However, when the Third Prince of Jiuxiao Kingdom, Beitang Yun, saw the unharmed Beitang Ming, a hint of regret flashed in his eyes.

After the envoys were all settled, Yun Qianyu went to the injured envoys of Jiuxiao Kingdom, checked them all over, and after confirming they were all alright, left the Tongwen Hall.

Long Xiangluo stood guard at the entrance of Tongwen Hall. Seeing Yun Qianyu emerge, she immediately stepped forward and coldly said, “I’ve fulfilled your request; you should keep your promise!”

Yun Qianyu shook her head and said, “I’m too tired today. I’ll come to detoxify Prince Jin tomorrow!”

Long Xiangluo stopped Yun Qianyu, saying, “Isn’t the Princess of the Nation being a bit unreasonable? I’ve already completed your request. There’s no point in delaying any longer, is there?”

Yun Qianyu stared intently at Long Xiangluo, remaining silent for a long time before suddenly sighing, “Do I have to be so direct for you to understand?”

Long Xiangluo pondered Yun Qianyu’s words, wondering what she meant. Was she implying she was stupid?

“Prince Jin’s poison has invaded his lungs and internal organs. He needs a medicine called Red Leaf Grass. This medicine will arrive tomorrow morning. Understand?” After explaining, Yun Qianyu didn’t wait for Long Xiangluo to speak again, turning and walking towards Yujian, who was waiting not far away.

Long Xiangluo’s hand clenched into a fist in her sleeve. *Let you be arrogant for a few more days!* She turned and returned to Jin Ding Hall.

Yun Qianyu and Yujian left the inn, where Hua Manxi was waiting. Seeing the siblings emerge, he smiled and said, “Little girl, how are you going to thank me?”
