For an average person, it took no more than five minutes to go from suffocation to losing consciousness.

If oxygen deprivation lasted for more than ten minutes, brain cell death may occur, turning the person into a living dead.

The young doctor was just an ordinary person. He quickly fainted that night at the Fujita residence and didn’t wake up until the next day.

Although he was hit hard, it was too short, and it didn’t leave any obvious marks on the person’s neck.

But some marks stayed.

The metal collar tightly bound the skin around his neck, leaving faint red marks. The young doctor’s body was burning hot, and he lay limply in his arms, completely at his mercy.

Xing Cheng stood up, leaning on his cane.

Having lost his support, Lu Dangui fell to the ground once again.

This person was the original sin that caused him to lose control.

That day in the bathroom, it was this man who aroused his deep-seated violent desires and awakened that monster.

He was never a puppet controlled by his emotions; too many concerns would only affect the success of his plans. So he left.

Today, this prey actually walked right into his trap, stumbling and staggering right up to him.

He put a collar around his own neck, but handed the chain to him.

Just now, he said in a trembling voice, “Mr. Xing, please help me.”

The footsteps in the distance grew closer, and Lu Dangui heard a commotion behind him.

He had completely lost his strength and could only close his eyes and lie on the ground pretending to be dead.

“Second Young Master…”

The guest wearing the fox mask spoke stiffly.

Ripe fruit tastes best. Half an hour was the time it took for the drug’s effects to take hold and become intense; it was also the warm-up period they gave their prey.

With time running out, the group of five met up with Xing Yu halfway and together they chased after the prey in the direction it had fled.

Seeing that the tracker’s location had stopped at one spot and hadn’t moved for a long time, they assumed that Lu Dangui had given up and was ready to surrender.

As the game was about to end, the group was still somewhat reluctant to stop.

Originally, it was just to cooperate with the second young master’s plan and put on a show. Unexpectedly, the process of chasing their prey also gave them a taste of brutal pleasure.

The prey, knowing it could not escape, still struggled in its death throes. Everyone revelled in this superior, God-like perspective.

No one expected to encounter the late-arriving eldest son of the Xing family on the second young master’s territory.

The group stood behind the second young master, but none of them dared to step forward and greet him.

Xing Cheng’s appearance was a declaration to everyone present: wherever the young master of the Xing family is, that’s his territory, not the territory of the second young master.

Because he was the only future master of the Xing family.

Poking the listless person on the ground with his cane, he asked his younger brother, “What’s going on?”

Upon seeing that the visitor was Xing Cheng, a hint of unfathomable gloom flashed in Xing Yu’s eyes, but a smile appeared on his masked face: “Why are you so late, big brother? The game is almost over.”

“A game?” Staring at the dishevelled little doctor at his feet, Xing Cheng coldly uttered four words, “I doubt it.”

“Brother, this is the prey I carefully selected for you.” Xing Yu smiled mysteriously. “His reaction to seeing you was so strong, could it be that you two know each other?”

He originally thought Xing Cheng wouldn’t accept his invitation, but he didn’t expect to achieve his goal in the end.

On the very day he went to find Lu Dangui, he also sent an invitation to Xing Cheng, inviting him to participate in the annual hunting game.

This was a perfect plan that Xing Yu had devised long ago.

From the moment he sent out the invitation, the people he was plotting against was not just Lu Dangui, but also his own brother.

Many people in the industry knew about the car accident involving the heir of the Xing family. It was precisely because of the news that Xing Cheng was injured and become disabled that public opinion had gradually shifted in his favor recently.

The five people behind him usually stood by his side. However, the business world was like a battlefield, and these people were definitely watching to see what Xing Cheng and his father would do next.

Xing Cheng’s absence today was tantamount to telling everyone that his body was ruined and he could no longer get up.

He would also be able to take advantage of Lu Dangui’s incoherent state to extract all of Xing Cheng’s secrets.

Now Xing Cheng was here today, that was even better.

He wanted to see if his older brother would admit that his doctor was today’s prey.

If Xing Cheng admitted it and intervened, then he could directly question him in front of everyone about why he went to see a doctor.

If Xing Cheng pretended not to know his prey, then he would be held responsible for everything that happened to the young doctor today.

Upon hearing Xing Yu ask this question in front of everyone, a chilling glint appeared in Xing Cheng’s dark eyes.

This was a huge pit he dug for them, waiting for them to jump in.

However, the solution was quite simple.

He didn’t say anything, so Xing Yu couldn’t find any fault with him. After the pleasantries were over, he went home, and nothing was affected.

Aside from treating the junior doctor as a discarded pawn, he would just be left here.

Xing Cheng lowered his eyelids and glanced again at the lifeless body on the ground.

Ever since he met this person, he’d always been throwing tantrums. If I did that, I’d probably drive him crazy.

But so what?

The young doctor was now completely powerless, lying like a limp rag at his own feet, waiting for someone else to decide his fate.

Xing Cheng suddenly discovered something interesting.

The five people following Xing Yu were all in a dishevelled state.

Some had their trousers torn, some had scratches all over their suits, and some had two faint bloodstains under their masks, as if they had been punched in the nose.

Xing Cheng raised an eyebrow.

It seems even a rabbit will bite when cornered.

Standing for so long had made Xing Cheng’s legs ache, but he still slowly bent down and scooped up the hot and weak body from the ground.

“Can you act?”

Xing Cheng pulled the young doctor’s head behind his shoulder and whispered in his ear, “Just like last time.”

Lu Dangui twitched his eyelashes listlessly.

The effects of the medicine had seeped into his blood vessels and spread throughout his body, leaving him with a hoarse voice that made it almost impossible for him to speak.

He was panting, and asked Xing Cheng slowly and laboredly, “…What do you mean?”

Xing Cheng remained silent.

Damn it, hurry up and tell me!

I’d do anything as long as I can get out of this awful place.

My heart longs to return home.
