Shen Qinglan touched her heart, it was still beating, indicating that she was still alive.

It was still dark, and the other three people in the bedroom were still asleep, breathing evenly. Everything was telling her that she was far away from that place, and she would never return there again in that life.

She lay quietly on the bed, but was not able to sleep, so she simply got up.

Her movements were very light, and the three people sleeping next to her were not awakened. After getting dressed, she opened the balcony door, looked outside, found a place, and jumped down.

This was the third floor. If it was an ordinary person, even if he/she didn’t fall to death, they would surely be half disabled, but Shen Qinglan just held the water pipe in both hands, slid down the water pipe, and fell to the ground with a light posture.

It was not that she didn’t think about going through the front door, but the dorm door downstairs was still locked at this time, and she couldn’t get out from there at all.

She came to the playground and ran round and round along the track, with the lingering pictures of her dream in her mind.

Shen Qinglan and the group of children floated on the sea for a long-long time, and then they reached a deserted island.

It was not accurate to say that it was a deserted island. There were quite a few people there.

Shen Qinglan and the others were taken to a room. This room was very large, as compared with the small and dark room, it was much larger and brighter.

At this time, Shen Qinglan could see clearly. There were not only them in this room, but there were many other children, yellow skinned, white skinned, dark skinned, with different colored eyes… all kinds of children from different countries were there.

The children there were not very old, the oldest was only seven or eight years old, and the youngest was probably about the same as Shen Qinglan.

They all had the same expression, panic, scared, and helpless.

Shen Qinglan was sitting in a corner. There was no other person beside her. She was lonely. She hugged her knees with her hands and tears emerged in her eyes. She missed her parents, grandparents, and her brother. She wanted to go home.

Why didn’t her father come to save her after so long? Did they not want her anymore?

Bean-sized teardrops fell on the ground, Shen Qinglan cried very sadly, but did not make a sound, her tears were very silent.

She was wearing an old cotton-padded coat, which the woman had put on her. After so many twists and turns, the clothes were already dirty, and the original appearance of it couldn’t be seen.

“Why are you crying?” There was a childish voice above her head, soft and waxy.

Shen Qinglan looked up and saw a seven or eight year old girl standing there, looking at her condescendingly.

Shen Qinglan didn’t speak, the girl squatted down, “Why are you crying?”

“I want to go home.” Hearing familiar words, Shen Qinglan finally spoke.

The girl touched Shen Qinglan’s head and said, “You can’t go back when you come here. Don’t cry. When the group of people sees us like this, they beat us. Yesterday I saw a child crying. She was beaten until she was bloody.” Shen Qinglan’s small face went pale, her eyes widened, and became panicked. She thought of the little girl lying on the ground covered in blood.

She wiped away her tears and did not dare to cry. Later Shen Qinglan learned that the girl was called Qin Mu.

Shen Qinglan shook her head, trying to get rid of the pictures in her mind, but those pictures became clearer.

They were sold to an international killer organization. All they needed to do every day was receive all kinds of training. When someone looked at them, as long as they cried or showed weakness, they would be beaten badly.

Obviously they were just a group of several-year-old children, but those people didn’t even blink their eyes, and they acted mercilessly.

Shen Qinglan saw them beat a child to death, and later the body was thrown into the sea at will to feed the fish.

Shen Qinglan was also beaten. She was young and needed a lot of training. Sometimes she couldn’t support herself. When the group of people beat her, Qin Mu would rush up and protect her in her arms.

Qin Mu was two years older than Shen Qinglan, actually only seven years old, but she always encouraged her when Shen Qinglan couldn’t hold on, and protected her when those people beat her.

Gradually, Shen Qinglan relied heavily on this young lady named Qin Mu.

After Shen Qinglan cried the first day, she never shed a single tear. Even if she was beaten all over her body, she never cried.

At first, she still hoped that her father would save her, but as time passed, this hope gradually turned into despair.

When Shen Qinglan was seven years old, a group of them were left in a primitive jungle. The people who managed them said that only the three who survived out of this primitive jungle would get to live, they were given nothing but a dagger.

Seven-year-old Shen Qinglan was taller, wearing black clothes, her pretty face was tight, and her hair had been cut short to reach her ears.

She followed Qin Mu, Qin Mu guarded her behind, “Little Qi, you must follow me, I will take you out, we will all live and live well.”

After Shen Qinglan came here, there was only one code number seven, no name, no surname, and no nationality.

“Don’t worry, Sister Mumu, I’m very good now, and I won’t hold you back.” Shen Qinglan, who was only seven years old, already had the same look on her face. When she said this, there was not the slightest smile on her face.

Mumu smiled faintly, “Yes, my Xiao Qi is very powerful.”

They encountered a lot of attacks along the way, some from the beasts in the jungle and some from their companions. Mumu had been protecting Shen Qinglan until the seventh day, Shen Qinglan’s hands were still clean, without anybody’s blood.

On the other hand, Qin Mu’s black suit had stiffened, which was caused by the blood stains drying out, and there were a lot of scars on her body.

Shen Qinglan fiddled with a rabbit, which she had just caught, and planned to roast it for dinner.

Qin Mu was bandaging her wound on one side, holding a handful of herbal medicine in her hand, which Shen Qinglan had just picked for her. She put the herbal medicine in her mouth and chewed it up, and then applied it to the wound.

“Sister Mumu, don’t patronize me next time.” Shen Qinglan said. Maybe because they were from the same country, Qin Mu had been protecting her.

Qin Mu smiled and didn’t care, “These are just small wounds, it doesn’t matter, Xiao Qi, our group of people are destined to be unclean. I also know that I can only protect you like this now, but I may not be able to in the future, but looking at your clean eyes, I always want to keep it so clean. I don’t want to see you like the other people here, turning into a cold murderous machine.” The nine-year-old Mumu already spoke like an old person who had experienced countless winds and frosts.

Shen Qinglan didn’t speak, but roasted the rabbit quietly, Qin Mu didn’t speak any more, and closed her eyes and took time to rest.
