Jiang Shining had actually been feeling for a while that she had made the wrong choices when she was ‘reborn’.

She thought she would be fighting alone for the rest of her life, so she set her physical and mental strength to the highest level, making her combat skills extremely high. Jiang Shining had just emerged from the post-apocalyptic environment, and her mind was full of the idea that high combat skills would make things easier, at least she wouldn’t be at the mercy of others because of her female physical weakness.

As for money, she had enough to spend.

To her utter surprise, one child after another appeared. High combat power seemed irrelevant now, while her money and company resources dwindled. If she had known she’d be raising children, she could have simply chosen a large company when she transmigrated into the book world. All those points were wasted.

Only now did Jiang Shining finally understand the significance of her combat prowess.

Having too many sons means there’s too much yang energy, which can’t be suppressed.

Raising a son and a daughter are completely different. Sons are sometimes like dogs; you have to beat them to take the lead.

The next morning, when everyone else woke up, they saw that the sofa and decorations in the living room had been moved aside. Jiang Shining and Jing Yuan were already sitting at the dining table eating breakfast, but their expressions were different. Jiang Shining seemed normal, while Jing Yuan felt as if a dark cloud was hanging over him.

What happened to make him so upset?

Jing Xuan sat down next to him and looked at him curiously.

Jing Yuan swallowed a mouthful of porridge with a dark face. He was thinking about how to go easy on Jiang Shining in a way that would save face for her without being noticed.

Then he realized it was harder than climbing to heaven. After all, there’s a difference in physique between men and women. Male wrestlers can’t compete against each other even if they’re of different weights, let alone between men and women. There’s simply no comparison.

He simply didn’t know how to explain it.

“We have some activities after dinner,” Jiang Shining said.

Only then did everyone notice that she was dressed in a black tracksuit, looking very casual.

“Are you going to play badminton indoors?” Chen Ruozhi guessed.

“We are going to have a friendly sparring session,” Jiang Shining said calmly.

Everyone was confused. They didn’t know which sport Jiang Shining was referring to when she mentioned sparring, but their curiosity was piqued, so they simply finished their meal and waited.

Only Guoguo exclaimed happily, “Mommy! You’re going to kill someone again!”

Moths: …?

“Guoguo, this is a civilized world. Mommy won’t fight or kill anyone,” Jiang Shining said gently. “Because your brother has been a bit naughty lately, Mommy and your brother are having a little sparring session.”

“Oh! Okay, okay, okay!” As Jiang Shining’s loyal little fan, Guoguo was extremely excited.

It seems that even in reincarnation, the influence of the previous life remains significant for everyone. For example, Guoguo, who retained memories of her past life, enjoyed watching fights more than most children, and she didn’t see anything wrong with it. While ordinary people believed success was about wealth and power, Guoguo believed the most successful person was the one who was the best fighter.

Without a doubt, Jiang Shining was the most amazing and outstanding woman in her heart!

After finishing their meal, Jiang Shining asked Jing Yuan, “What do you want to compete in? Swordsmanship, spearmanship, or bare-handed combat?”

Jing Yuan felt the current situation was very strange, and all he could say was, “I, I can do anything.”

So Jiang Shining went upstairs to get the sword.

Taking this opportunity, Chen Ruozhi teased Guoguo, “Guoguo, aren’t you worried about your mother?”

“Why should I worry about Mom?” Guoguo asked curiously. “Mom is the most amazing person.”

Jing Yuan then remembered that Guoguo’s world was a zombie apocalypse world, so he asked, “Guoguo, do you remember what happened to your world later?”

Guoguo couldn’t remember, of course. She only remembered that her mother was very powerful and always won when fighting zombies and humans.

But there was one thing she still remembered.

“Mom ruled over humanity and established a new order!”

Everyone: …

What kind of sci-fi plot is this going in the wrong direction?

Jing Yuan’s mind was in a mess, but he breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that at least Jiang Shining knew something, so that if he used too much force, it wouldn’t cause any bad consequences.

Jiang Shining came down, carrying two swords, and tossed one to Jing Yuan. Jing Yuan caught it and immediately knew that the decorative sword was actually a real one, its weight substantial.

He drew his sword from its sheath, and both Jing Yuan and Jing Xuan exclaimed in admiration.

“A fine sword.”

Jiang Shining actually used such a fine sword as decoration and displayed it on the shelf. The scabbard was also made very ordinary. If it were just placed there, no one would notice it at all.

After praising it, Jing Yuan hesitated a bit, “Mom, is it the real thing? This is our first time sparring, how about we…”

Jiang Shining didn’t waste any words with him. She threw down her scabbard and swung her sword at Chu Jingyuan, who instinctively parried it. With a crisp clang of metal against metal, Jing Yuan blocked Jiang Shining’s attack with his blade.

He was immediately startled. Just from that one swing, he could feel that Jiang Shining had a solid foundation and a lot of practical experience.

Jiang Shining sheathed her sword and then said, “Shall we officially begin?”

Jing Yuan nodded, no longer daring to underestimate her. The two stood in the empty space, ready, and then began their exchange of blows.

Jing Yuan only caught the first blow, then came the flashing blades and the shadows of swords, and before he knew it, he was lying on the ground, with Jiang Shining’s sword still pointed at him.

Chu Jingyuan’s eyes widened in disbelief. He had actually been forced to lose his balance by the swordsmanship step by step?!

He got up, his expression even more serious. The two went back and forth several more times, with Jing Yuan losing every single round. What was most terrifying was that Jing Yuan gradually increased the intensity of his attacks with each round, while Jiang Shining remained nonchalant, making it clear that he would lose within six steps.

“No more swords!” Even though Jiang Shining had the upper hand, Jing Yuan didn’t really want to fight her with swords. So he put the sword aside and said, “Let’s have a fistfight.”

“Okay.” Jiang Shining smiled. She was feeling uncomfortable with her hand half-closed.

The two began to fight, and sure enough, he was even less able to defeat Jiang Shining. Jiang Shining had experience from several lifetimes, plus her body data had been manipulated in later stages, making her extremely overpowered. Jing Yuan became more and more serious with each loss, but even when he finally unleashed his full power, he still hadn’t won!

Jing Yuan began to question the meaning of life. He used to be so bored, constantly picking fights with Chen Tanliang, and still not finding it satisfying. If he’d known it would turn out this way, wouldn’t he have preferred to be beaten by his mother sooner?

“How are you so amazing?” he murmured in disbelief. “Why did you even hire a bodyguard? I’ll give you your money back.”

Jiang Shining was very satisfied with her skills, which she hadn’t used since coming to this world.

Looking up, apart from Guoguo cheering and clapping, the other kids were frozen stiff.

“It’s passable?” Jiang Shining raised her eyebrows.

“Wow, amazing…” I’m completely convinced.

“Then do I have to be home by 10 o’clock…”

“Even martial arts masters have to be home before 10 p.m.!” Surprisingly, the kids all said the same thing.

Jiang Shining shrugged, then looked down at Jing Yuan and said with a smile, “A bet is a bet.”

“…I will be an honest person,” Jing Yuan said.

“If you still feel the urge to fight, you can come find me anytime,” Jiang Shining said understandingly.

“No need, thank you,” Jing Yuan said sincerely. “I want to be a pacifist.”
