The next day was election day at Chengnan High School.

The rules for election day were extremely simple.

Everyone would be given a colorful special ballot box labeled with all the student council positions. Ballots for student council president, disciplinary committee member, organization minister, etc., could be torn off from the box and placed into each candidate’s small wooden box. The ballots would then be emptied from the box and counted.

Unlike previous years, this year’s election day was exceptionally lively.

Due to the involvement of unknown forces, the candidates’ publicity efforts increased dramatically. Various banners, posters, advertising boards, and leaflets appeared in every corner of the school, and there were even people setting up stages for performances. Even Old Wang at the fish cake stall at the school gate set up an advertising space, and the place where the fish cake lights usually hung was now lit up with the name “Lu Rong”. The love quotes on the tissues were also replaced with the slogan “Please vote for Lu Rong”.

Student A: “Who is Lu Rong?”

Student B: “I don’t know, maybe he’s one of the candidates.”

Old Wang: “He’s the one who ran for student council president’s secretary.”

Students A and B: “Oh, oh.”

Still can’t remember who he is, what an ordinary guy.

Walking into the school, Ji Wenfeng’s campaign materials were floating everywhere in the air, and helium balloons in the sky were hanging with banners that read “Young Master Ji is talented in both arts and sciences, voting for him is definitely worth it.” Although it was shameless, the brainwashing effect was top-notch.

Xiao Zhuqing led the fujoshis to vote early in the morning, but she was not satisfied with her existing voter base. Now she was carrying a heavy box and stopping people everywhere: “You! Will you vote for me or not! If you don’t vote for me, I’ll drive your car! I’ll make you the bottom!”

Boy tut: “Okay, okay, I’ll vote for you…”

Deng Te carried his ballot box on his head and dragged a handcart around the campus. Li Nanbian was sitting on the handcart, holding a Bluetooth speaker in his arms, playing that heartbreaking “Erquan Yingyue”.

After yesterday’s video promotion and subsequent online campaigning, Deng Te’s story was now widely known. At this moment, the familiar background music started playing, and students passing by tore off their small ballots for the Minister of Sports and silently stuffed them into the ballot box above Deng Te’s head.

Deng Te coolly said, “Thank you.” Li Nanbian, in the back seat, accepted red envelopes from boys and food from girls, looking like a pair of street performers.

Ling Ren, dressed in his school uniform and wearing a “Anti-Wind Squad” sash, led a group of losers on the stage to promote his policies: “I will do everything in my power to stop Ji Wenfeng from having a harem!”

Girls passing by cast disdainful glances, but Ling Ren didn’t care. He was gay anyway, as long as Fang Chang liked him, that was enough. Seeing that his male classmates had joined his ranks without hesitation, he knew he wouldn’t lose in the vote count!

“That villain is truly a terrifying man,” Ling Ren thought with genuine admiration. “What a brilliant campaign strategy!”

….

Shen Yu didn’t care about his voting results at all. He slept until the middle of the day before rushing to school, only to find that the election committee had already emptied his ballot box three times, with “Disciplinary Committee Member • Shen Yu” written on it.

Shen Yu: “Hey, I’m clearly running for student council president!”

Ballot counter: “No, you’re not. You’re running for disciplinary committee member.”

Shen Yu: “Why would I want to be disciplinary committee member? Don’t you think that’s absurd? I’m clearly running for student council president.”

Ballot counter: “Actually… the absurdity of the two is about the same.”

Shen Yu: “Very different!”

Because of Ji Wenfeng, that rich and powerful man, he had no chance of being elected student council president!

Disciplinary committee member…

No, that’s not right.

I can’t possibly be elected disciplinary committee member either.

Thinking of this, Shen Yu felt relieved: “How many votes are there now?”

The vote counter: “1989 votes, in first place.”

Shen Yu: “How can there be so many?!”

The vote counter: “…”

Don’t you have any self-awareness about how you are?!

Wasn’t it you who waved your fist in the campaign video yesterday saying “I’ll beat up anyone who doesn’t vote for me”?!

And now you’re pretending to be a pure white lotus?! …

Liang Wendao, wearing a white lab coat, stood in the middle of the playground, using two tables to make a makeshift laboratory, selling his foot odor medicine: “Student, do your feet smell? This is my latest foot odor medicine, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and deodorizing, now it’s free— here’s one for you— and leave your vote with you.”

His ballot box quickly filled with people exchanging their ballots for the foot odor medicine.

“Truly a genius…”

“Using the most popular and marketable foot odor medicine this season to exchange votes, what a brilliant idea!”

“No, he doesn’t need to do that at all. He was originally the most likely candidate for Minister of Studies. Didn’t you see that no one else is running for this position except him, because they have no chance of winning? Rather than saying that the genius is buying votes with foot odor medicine, it’s more like he’s giving everyone who votes a free gift of the most popular and marketable foot odor medicine this season. He’s so kind!”

“Geniuses are the best!”

Liang Wendao’s eyes flashed: Hmm, this way we’ll have the clinical trial data, and his foot odor medicine can soon be patented and launched on the market, making a fortune!

Amidst this excitement, Yan Gou shared the vote count two hours later in the group.

“This is bad…” Liang Wendao said softly.

“Why is it bad? Even Deng Te got more than 1,000 votes. Our candidates should be able to rest easy and just wait to take office.” Li Nan said incredulously.

“The boss is the one who’s having problems.” Yan Gou showed everyone the data on the screen.

Sure enough, their worst fears came true: the secretary for their leader’s student council election had a disastrous start!

“Rong Rong, why aren’t you here yet?! The situation is really bad!” Li Nanbian impatiently called Lu Rong.

Just then, a pair of school shoes stepped through the gates of Chengnan High School.

Long, slender legs stopped resolutely at the gate.

“Don’t worry, I’m here.” The deep male voice on the phone sounded calm and composed.

At the same time, a stunningly beautiful girl in a JK uniform tossed her smooth black hair, staring intently at the banner that read “Chengnan High School Student Council Election Day,” radiating an aura of certain victory!

The noisy campus suddenly fell silent.

Everyone seemed to sense this overwhelming aura, stopping their work and craning their necks like lemurs in the desert, looking towards the school gate.

The crisp sound of footsteps drifted over, unhurried and steady.

The boys in the front row all widened their eyes, their faces flushing, a reaction that quickly spread to the others.

“So pretty…”

“Where did this beautiful girl come from? She looks like she stepped right out of a Japanese anime!”

“Absolutely stunning…”

“Which school is she from? I’ve never seen her uniform in S City before…”

The aloof girl walked silently past the stalkers on either side, her fair hands carrying a pen and paper in a ladylike manner.

She wore a JK uniform: a thin white shirt, a plaid pleated skirt, the waist cinched at the waist, revealing long, slender legs clad in black stockings. She perfectly embodied every high school boy’s fantasy.

Except for her tall stature— a towering 1.8 meters, taller than most boys— her height was no longer a flaw, but rather an undeniable charm, thanks to her long legs.

Three words flashed through the minds of every boy present: “Legs for days!”

Lu Rong clearly saw the filthy thoughts in their eyes and sneered inwardly. Although being used as a fantasy object was a bit annoying, it was exactly what he wanted. He would make full use of his good looks to win the next election!

Dressed in women’s clothing, Lu Rong walked calmly and gracefully past the entire school, then found a shady spot and unfolded the white oilcloth paper in his hand!

The sign read:

“My name is Lu Lili, and my brother is Lu Rong from Class 8 of the first year of high school.

We siblings depend on each other for survival; our family is very poor.

My brother wants to run for the position of secretary to the student council president, hoping to learn work skills better under the guidance of Young Master Ji Wenfeng.

However, last night, my brother said very sadly that he might not be able to win. He jumped off the Rainbow Bridge in the middle of the night because of too much pressure and is currently being treated in the emergency room.

I hope to continue my brother’s unfinished work and help him win this election!

Please cast your precious vote for my brother!

I will never forget this, sob sob sob…”

After laying out the sign, he sat down on the white oilcloth, humbly hugging his knees, and sobbed silently.

The crooked black ballpoint pen handwriting, the elementary school student’s tearful essay, the seemingly unfaithful and tragic story… his stall was immediately surrounded by male high school students.

High school boy A: “That’s so pitiful…”

High school boy B: “Because it was written with a ballpoint pen, it can’t be photoshopped, so what she said must be true!”

Everyone agreed: “That’s right, that’s right.”

High school boy A: “Who is Lu Rong?”

High school boy B: “Speaking of which, he should be some guy who is running for secretary to Ji Wenfeng… I have no recollection of him at all.”

A righteous person jumped out from the crowd and punched him in the face: “What nonsense are you talking about! Why are you saying bad things about her brother in front of Lili? Your brother is still in the ICU!”

Everyone agreed: “That’s right! You have no compassion!”

“I will never allow you to talk about our brother-in-law like that!” Li Nanbian, who already had the “Lu Lili Global Support Group” logo tied in his hair, jumped out. Behind him were Yan Gou, Liang Wendao, and Deng Te, who were dressed in the same clothes. Yan Gou squatted down and grabbed Lu Rong’s shoulder: “Lili, we are your brother’s good friends. We will protect your safety at school!”

Lu Rong: “…”

You never talk!

No, what I should say is… do I really become a different person if I cross-dress?!
