Location: The Sky Parking Station.

This was a facility specially set up by the Empire to house airships. The biggest difference between airships and airplanes was that the former could perform spacetime jumps to another star system, while the latter could only fly between star systems.

Since this was Bai Yue’s first long trip, his entire family of four came.

The Bai family had also visited this place when Shang Yufei left last time. But no matter how many times they saw it, they couldn’t help but marvel at its grandeur.

The hall was spacious, bright, and clean. Outside the large, transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, a magnificent airship, capable of holding over a thousand people, was parked. Its wings were outstretched, ready for take-off.

The people coming and going were all well-dressed, their every move exuding an undeniable aristocratic air.

After all, airship tickets were expensive, unaffordable for ordinary people— and generally speaking, they didn’t have the need to jump between star systems. Therefore, those who appeared at this “Sky Parking Station” were mostly from wealthy families.

The Bai family was an exception.

Due to Bai Yue’s special admission status, this ticket was a gift from the school.

Bai Yue took off his Luohua Academy uniform, put on casual clothes, and pulled his suitcase.

His mother had been nagging the whole way. Even now, she didn’t stop: “Don’t be nervous about the exam. After that, you’ll be all alone. Get along well with your classmates. Remember to keep in touch and tell us if you have any difficulties.”

According to regulations, after passing the interview, recommended students still need to take the school’s entrance exam.

Although Bai Yue’s “interview” was somewhat different, he still needed to go through the subsequent procedures.

Bai Yue: “Yes, I know.”

His father pulled his wife aside: “Alright, you’ve said the same thing over and over again. We’re not home often, Yue Yue is already very independent, there’s nothing to worry about.”

Then, he looked at his son, “Have you contacted Xiao Shang?”

Bai Yue shook his head: “He’s probably in tutoring. I want to contact him after his exam.”

His father nodded, not saying anything more.

Then, Bai Yue looked at his younger brother beside him. The boy shrank behind his mother, refusing to look at him.

He half-squatted down and said to the figure with his back to him, “Mom and Dad are very busy with work and can’t take care of you. I’ve been teaching you to cook these past few days; you should have learned the simple ones by now.”

His younger brother’s voice sounded muffled: “I know.”

Bai Yue: “I have to go.”

Bai Yiyan: “…”

Bai Yue: “Aren’t you going to hug your brother?”

Bai Yiyan remained motionless. Mother Bai noticed her younger son hiding behind her, his hand trembling slightly as he clutched the hem of her clothes.

She felt a little helpless and said to Bai Yue, “He’s just shy, don’t mind him.”

Just then, an announcement came over the loudspeaker in the hall. There was less than half an hour left before the next flight.

Bai Yue straightened up and looked at his parents: “I have to go.”

After saying that, he let go of his suitcase, stepped forward, and put his arms around his parents’ shoulders, one on each side, closing his eyes: “I’ll contact you when I arrive.”

Although he didn’t get to say goodbye to his younger brother in the end, time was running out. So Bai Yue took a few steps back, said goodbye to his parents, and walked towards the security checkpoint.

Bai’s parents stood there, watching their son’s figure gradually disappear into the distance until he was no longer visible.

Mother Bai turned to look at her youngest son, whose mouth was tightly shut, not uttering a sound. But saw that his shoulders were trembling, and he kept wiping his eyes.

She patted her son’s head: “What’s the use of crying now? Your brother is gone.”

“I’m not a child anymore,” Bai Yiyan choked out, “I can’t let my brother see.”

Bai’s parents exchanged a glance and sighed softly.

Why was their youngest son so awkward?

When they looked at the airship on the tarmac from the lobby, they could already feel its majestic grandeur. But when you stood in front of it, the awe increased several levels.

It was like a huge beast, lying prostrate on the open ground. Although extremely fierce, it was tamed and incredibly docile, allowing people to board it.

Bai Yue entered the inner cabin. And inside, just like from the outside, it was incredibly spacious. The seats were arranged in rows, and through the small windows in the wall, one could easily see the scenery outside. Bai Yue happened to be in a window seat. Soon, the airship started its engines and soared into the sky.

The immense acceleration nearly sent sparks flying from the air, but thanks to its extremely robust protective measures, the passengers inside felt no discomfort.

The airship soared into the sky like lightning. Suddenly, a massive black hole appeared out of nowhere ahead, and it plunged into it with a sharp gust of wind.

—The First Time-Space Jump.

Bai Yue was riding an airship for the first time, so he was initially looking out the window with curiosity.

Then, as the airship entered a period of steady motion, darkness enveloped the outside. After watching for a while and finding nothing particularly unusual, he straightened up.

An Omega sat in the seat in front of him. He was practically pressed against the window, staring intently out the window without blinking. He was also muttering to himself,

“So cool.”

“This is a time jump.”

“You really can’t see anything in a time tunnel.”

It seemed that the Omega was also riding an airship for the first time.

The passenger next to the Omega couldn’t stand it anymore and said irritably, “Quiet down, I want to sleep.”

The Omega then realized what was happening and apologized profusely. After that, he didn’t speak again, but remained in the same posture, his gaze never wavering.

The airship moved smoothly. And unconsciously, Bai Yue’s eyelids became heavy.

So he closed his eyes.

He didn’t know how much time had passed, but when he opened his eyes again, the airship had already landed. The passengers beside him stood up and began to collect their luggage, preparing to disembark.

Had they arrived already?

Bai Yue was a little confused, and he also stood up, preparing to get his luggage.

The curly-haired guy who had been sitting in front of him had been jumping around in front of the overhead luggage compartment. But he was too short and couldn’t touch it at all, instead exhausting himself and panting.

The curly-haired guy wiped his sweat and was about to try again when he saw a hand reach out. It grabbed his suitcase and lifted it down.

The curly-haired guy was stunned, so he turned his head and saw a tall Omega. He had very fair skin and handsome features. He had short, light gray hair, and smiled, looking very gentle.

“Here you go.”

The other person’s voice was as gentle and warm as his appearance.

The curly-haired boy, seeing someone so handsome for the first time in his life, immediately blushed deeply and took the suitcase, saying, “Th-thank you.”

Bai Yue nodded politely to him and continued walking out.

After disembarking from the airship, they discovered they were at another “sky landing pad.” However, the decor was subtly different from their starting point.

The building was completely enclosed, enveloped on all sides by a silver wall. As Bai Yue approached, the wall seemed to sense something and automatically peeled away, revealing the outside world: an endless universe.

The Milky Way was dazzling, making it impossible to distinguish which planet was his home. All the planets emitted a faint glow, rotating in this vast black ocean.

Vast and magnificent. Standing amidst it, one felt utterly insignificant.

Bai Yue’s eyes widened slightly.

He had seen similar scenes on television but witnessing it firsthand was an experience of unparalleled impact. An announcement came over the loudspeaker: “We have arrived at the transfer station. Passengers, please transfer promptly and do not miss your departure time.”

Another announcement followed: “Repeating…”

A female voice rang out in the hall.

Bai Yue turned around and saw that the passengers who had disembarked with him had scattered in different directions.

He took out his airship ticket and noticed a line of small print between the departure and destination points, indicating the transfer directions.

Ten minutes later, Bai Yue found his destination following the directional signs.

However, compared to the super-large airship they had just ridden in, this airship looked much smaller. The design was similar, but it could probably only hold about a hundred people.

“Um, wait a minute!”

A voice came from behind.

Bai Yue turned around and saw a figure running towards him, panting. “I saw you from afar and wanted to call you. Sure enough, you’re going in the same direction as me! Are you also a student going to military academy?”

It was the Omega from the same airship. He wiped his sweat, finally calming down.

Then he grinned at Bai Yue: “My name is Lu Ke.”

“Hello.”

Bai Yue nodded and asked with a smile, “Are you a military academy student?”

Lu Ke scratched his cheek shyly: “I haven’t officially enrolled yet. I’m from the South China Sea Naval Academy, what about you?”

Bai Yue didn’t try to hide it: “I’m from the Imperial First Comprehensive Military Academy.”

Hearing this, Lu Ke’s hand gripping his suitcase suddenly loosened, and the suitcase fell to the ground with a thud.

He completely ignored this, still staring wide-eyed at Bai Yue: “My God, my God.”

“You mean that… the top military academy in the country?”

Lu Ke had only guessed that Bai Yue was a student because they were about the same age and going in the same direction.

But he never expected that the other party’s school was so much higher in rank than his.

He himself was a top Omega in a high school academy, and he had barely passed the interview for the South China Military Academy.

But this Omega in front of him had become a “top student recommended by the Imperial Academy” so casually!?

Lu Ke was immediately prostrating himself in awe.

“Big brother, please let me cling to your leg!!!”

Although Lu Ke’s personality was a bit eccentric, he wasn’t a bad person.

When the two boarded the airship, most of the seats were full. At a glance, the passengers were all young people.

This airship would go directly to the star system where the “Imperial Academy Comprehensive Military Academy” was located— planet D-312.

Planet D-312 was quite special compared to other star systems. Because almost all of the Empire’s famous universities were located here, it could be said that the social circles formed within this planet are centered around university students.

Therefore, the passengers on this airship were likely all students about to enrol.

They didn’t know each other; so some were sleeping, while some were reading books, and they were basically doing their own thing.

However, two small groups were particularly noisy. They seemed to be students traveling together.

On one side, four or five Alphas were playing cards together. And when they saw Bai Yue come up, they exchanged glances and whistled maliciously.

On the other side, there were several Omegas, surrounding an Alpha in the middle. That Alpha was handsome and wearing designer clothes. He seemed very pleased with himself, like a star being surrounded by the moon.

“Wow,” Lu Ke muttered softly, “I didn’t expect Li Canxing to be on this airship too.”

Bai Yue glanced at Lu Ke: “You know him?”

Lu Ke’s eyes widened: “Don’t you know him? He’s the most popular live-streaming influencer. Even if Omegas haven’t seen him, they should have heard of his name.”

Hearing this, Bai Yue felt that Lu Ke might have misunderstood something.

Since his gender was revealed, no one at Luohua Academy considered him an Omega. However, his physical appearance hadn’t changed much, so he was still often misunderstood.

But Lu Ke didn’t give him a chance to explain, continuing, “But I don’t like this person. It’s said he has a lot of dirt on him, sleeping with fans everywhere.” Lu Ke’s tone was indignant. “Alphas are all a bunch of lustful bast**ds!”

Bai Yue roughly understood this Omega’s attitude towards Alphas.

He considered it for a moment, then said, “I think not all Alphas are bad people…”

“Even if there are good ones, they’re rare.” Lu Ke shook his head. “An Alpha can mark multiple Omegas, but an Omega can only be marked by one Alpha. Because of this damned physiological rule, those bast**ds are fearless.”

He suddenly grasped Bai Yue’s hand, his words sincere: “So you have to be careful too. You’re so handsome and outstanding, you can’t let a disgusting Alpha take advantage of you.”

Former Omega, now Alpha Bai Yue: “…”

How should he respond?
