The rest of the crew were exhausted and went to bed early. Zhou Wenyan and Shen Dongqing took advantage of the darkness to leave the three-story red brick house and walked towards the back mountain.

There were no street lights here, but the moonlight was bright, falling on the ground through the shadows of the trees.

Shen Dongqing had a childlike mind and walked in front of Zhou Wenyan, deliberately stepping on the moonlight with every step.

Zhou Wenyan stood behind, looking at his back with a smile.

Shen Dongqing stopped and looked back at him. There was a handful of moonlight filling the dimples of his cheeks, which made him look even more eccentric. He urged: “Hurry up.”

Zhou Wenyan paused, followed up in two or three steps, and grabbed Shen Dongqing’s hands.

Shen Dongqing smiled lightly at him.

The female ghost standing aside: It seems like I shouldn’t be here…

The two of them walked into the woods unhurriedly, and under the guidance of the female ghost, they arrived at the place where the group of tomb robbers had entered from.

The tomb robbers gathered deep in the forest. Normally no one would come here. One tomb robber was sitting on the ground, his weapon close at hand, and there was no trace of the others.

He may have thought that no one would come to a place like this, so he didn’t pay attention to his surroundings and kept yawning constantly.

The tomb robbers used hunting guns. Shen Dongqing took a look at it, raised his hand and turned on the flashlight, shooting out a ray of light.

In order to avoid being discovered by others, the tomb robber did not light a fire. Now the strong light of the flashlight shone like this, temporarily blinding him for a moment. After he calmed down, the tomb robber picked up his weapon and pointed at the place where the light was shining and shouted: “Who!”

But the light had been extinguished, and the forest was completely dark again.

The tomb robber swallowed: “Come out, or I’ll shoot!”

Bang!

The sound of fallen leaves being trampled was heard from behind.

The tomb robber turned his head suddenly, and at some point, a blurred face had come over. It almost blended into the darkness, leaving only a pair of pale eyes and a wide open mouth, grinning ferociously.

“Ah!”

The tomb robber had robbed several tombs after all, and he was much more courageous than ordinary people. He raised his hand and made three “bang bang bang” sounds. The bullets shot into the ground, splashing dust all over the sky.

Under extreme fear, an individual’s behavior was difficult to control.

The tomb robber had fired all his bullets in just two seconds, and was now pounding the ground with his weapon, breathing heavily. Fortunately, the grimace had disappeared.

The tomb robber calmed down his breathing and thought about the old man saying that ghosts were afraid of evil people. As long as he cursed dirtily, even the ghosts would not dare to come close. He started to “speak out” in an attempt to get rid of the fright he had just received.

Just after he cursed a few times, the tomb robber suddenly heard a voice coming from behind: “It’s not good to swear.”

He subconsciously wanted to scold him back: “None of your business-” As soon as he finished speaking, he realized where could these words come from in this wilderness?

He turned back stiffly, and fortunately it was not a ghost, but a young man in pajamas, with messy hair, as if he had just been dug out of bed.

“Hi -“

Shen Dongqing greeted lazily, “You can’t say bad words in a civilized city.”

The tomb robber: “You have a f**king brain disease -“

Before he could finish his words, he felt a pain in his neck. His vision went dark, and the last thing he saw before losing consciousness was Shen Dongqing with a pure smile on his face.

Shen Dongqing kicked the tomb robber who fell on the ground. After confirming that he was temporarily unable to move, he walked around and came to the robber’s cave.

After a day of hard work by the tomb robbers, the hole had been dug through. Two hemp ropes hung at the entrance of the hole. It seemed that everyone else had gone down into the hole, and only one person was left guarding it.

Shen Dongqing leaned over and took a look. This cave was only wide enough for one person to pass through. It was pitch black below and nothing could be seen clearly. A cold breath sprayed up from below every few seconds.

Shen Dongqing grabbed the hemp rope: “Let’s go down and have a look.”

Zhou Wenyan took the hemp rope in Shen Dongqing’s hand: “I’ll go first.”

Shen Dongqing looked at him and saw in his eyes that this matter was not negotiable. He was so determined that he could only take a step back: “Okay, let me know when you get down.”

Zhou Wenyan said “hmm” and climbed down along the hemp rope, and his figure disappeared into the darkness. About five minutes later, someone pulled at the hemp rope.

“Okay, come down.” After passing through the long and narrow passage, Zhou Wenyan’s voice was slightly distorted.

Shen Dongqing grabbed the other hemp rope and climbed down slowly. When he was one or two meters above the ground, he got a little impatient and simply let go of his hand and jumped down. Instead of falling to the ground, he was caught by Zhou Wenyan in his arms.

Zhou Wenyan said disapprovingly: “It’s too dangerous.”

Shen Dongqing kissed him fiercely and said coquettishly: “I knew you will catch me.”

Zhou Wenyan felt that there was really nothing he could do with him, so he could only smile helplessly and shake his head.

Shen Dongqing quickly changed the topic: “Let’s go in and take a look.”

Those tomb robbers were really capable. They found the ancient tomb that the archaeologists had not discovered, and they dug the hole right inside the tomb.

Shen Dongqing picked up his cell phone and took a look around. It was an ear chamber made of bluestone bricks, with some patterns carved on the walls. The sealing here was good, and the pattern was still clearly visible even after so many years.

But –

“The carving is so abstract.” Shen Dongqing stared at the pattern for a while but couldn’t figure out what it was.

Zhou Wenyan didn’t know much about this and guessed: “The carvings are auspicious animals such as bats and unicorns, which probably symbolize the noble status of the owner of the tomb.”

Shen Dongqing tilted his head: “Actually, this is my tomb. I could feel it as soon as I came in.”

Zhou Wenyan’s eyes narrowed.

Shen Dongqing sniffed: “I don’t even remember how I died…”

Before he finished speaking, Zhou Wenyan stretched out his hand to hold the person in his arms and patted his back gently and said in a particularly gentle voice: “Don’t think about it anymore, it’s all in the past.”

No matter how powerful Shen Dongqing was after death, death during his lifetime must have been very painful.

Shen Dongqing said nonchalantly: “It’s been so long, and it doesn’t matter…” His voice became smaller and smaller, and finally was almost inaudible, “Okay, okay, I won’t say anything anymore.” He hugged Zhou Wenyan with his backhand.

Zhou Wenyan then let go of his hand: “Let’s go in and take a look.”

The actions of the tomb robbers were very rough. It could be said that they were like bandits passing through. The inside of the tomb was bombed into a mess, and you could tell where they were going at a glance.

Shen Dongqing walked over a piece of gravel and suddenly thought of something and said: “There should be a portrait of me from before. You can see what I look like.”

Zhou Wenyan said slowly: “I’ll like whatever you look like.”

Shen Dongqing was not embarrassed at all, but instead proudly puffed up his chest: “That’s right, after all, I’m so handsome.”

“Yes, yes, yes.”

The two walked inside while talking and came to a corner. Shen Dongqing was about to stick his head out when he was pulled back by Zhou Wenyan. Just as he was about to ask a question, someone pressed his lips against his.

“Huh?” Shen Dongqing expressed doubts with his eyes.

Zhou Wenyan gently pulled the person to the corner, just in time to see the scene over there, but the people over there couldn’t find them.

There were a few glow sticks scattered around the corner, where the tomb robbers were taking a break. The second brother said: “We’ve been walking for a long time, why haven’t we seen any underworld artifacts? Is a poor man buried here?”

Shen Dongqing: …

The bearded man said: “Look at the reliefs on the outside, it’s definitely not an ordinary person who is buried here, it must be that we haven’t entered the main tomb yet.”

The second brother: “But we didn’t encounter any traps along the way, which is really strange.”

The person next to him smiled and said, “It’s not a good thing if there are no traps? Let us Brothers also suffer less.”

This statement received unanimous approval from others. After laughing for a while, the bearded man stood up: “Okay, let’s keep walking. It looks like we will find the main tomb chamber soon.”

After the group of tomb robbers left, Shen Dongqing and Zhou Wenyan came out from the corner. Shen Dongqing “hummed” and looked unhappy: “I’m not a poor guy who broke into private houses. I want to teach them a lesson.”

After passing this corner, there were rows of human figurines placed in the tomb in front. Their bodies were covered with paint, their clothes were complete with facial features, and they looked lifelike. The leading maid walked in front with her hands on her chest, followed by two little maids holding palace lanterns, followed by a group of young boys holding gold and silver brocades in their hands. On the other side, the dancers danced and played the pipa, and the musicians played music, just like a fairyland. The tomb robbers were amazed, and some took out their mobile phones to take a few photos.

“It’s a pity that these things can’t be moved out. Otherwise, they could be put on display. These things are almost the same as the terracotta warriors and horses. They must be very valuable.” The bearded man said: “Smash them.”

This was the rule of their profession. Whenever they entered a tomb, they would smash all the things they couldn’t take away so as to not make it easier for others.

The second brother responded, rolled up his sleeves and was about to take action, but before he could even touch the human figurines, a sudden chill came down his back. He turned around subconsciously and found that the maid with a gentle smile had slowly turned her head, and her delicate facial features had twisted into a look that looked like she was both crying and smiling.

“This is a trap!” His first reaction was to remind his companions.

But when he turned around, there were no companions around him. They all had dark faces. Their eyes were empty and cold, and they stared at the second brother expressionlessly.

The second brother was a man who had seen strong winds and waves. He took out an amulet that he had paid a lot of money for and said from his arms: “The evil spirits disperse, retreat -“

But instead of retreating, the faces approached him step by step.

The second brother started to run away, but as soon as he raised his feet, he found that his calf was grabbed by skeleton hands. Those skeleton hands stretched out from the ground and climbed up the calf, and soon they reached the waist.

He struggled desperately: “No, no, help!”

“Hee hee -“

The only answer was a sneer.

“Ah -“

Shen Dongqing hugged his shoulders and raised his chin proudly: “My tomb does not need any mechanism at all.”

He saw the group of tomb robbers running around like crazy, but there was nothing around them, and finally they fell to the ground exhausted, even if they were unconscious, they were still twitching, as if they were in a nightmare.

Shen Dongqing walked over.
