“If it’s not me coming,” came a man’s husky, magnetic voice from behind.
“Isn’t it you?” Si Huang still didn’t turn around.
The man didn’t speak. But a figure entered the water beside her. Because the distance was too close, Si Huang turned her head and saw him completely, even the lines and textures of his abdominal muscles.
Until the beautiful scenery was enveloped by the hot spring water, leaving only a bare chest and Qin Fan’s handsome face outside.
A pair of deep eyes were fixed on her face. Even if Si Huang wanted to ignore it, she couldn’t. When she raised her eyelids, she met his gaze and was burned by the heat in Qin Fan’s eyes.
She frowned. “Let me have some peace and quiet.”
“…” Qin Fan pursed his lips, his expression very restrained.
This was a man with burning desire in his eyes, but a cold and aloof expression, a contrast that could make a woman with weak willpower scream.
Si Huang didn’t scream, but her heart skipped a beat, a little itchy. She didn’t know what was wrong with Qin Fan. Ever since she accompanied him here, he had been unusually aroused. Thinking back to that morning, he had even dared to do *that* in front of the elders.
Lost in thought, Si Huang didn’t notice Qin Fan’s gaze lingering on her.
It wasn’t surprising that Qin Fan reacted; Si Huang herself didn’t know what she looked like right now.
After soaking in the hot spring for a while, her black hair was half-dry, half-wet, her fair face flushed, and her eyes were more watery than usual, even her long eyelashes were glistening with fine droplets. She looked exceptionally gentle and harmless, the kind of person you could easily seduce. Even women would find it hard to resist, let alone men.
This was Qin Fan’s territory. Being on one’s own turf naturally created a sense of security. The saying “when you’re well-fed and clothed, you think of lust” applied here; in a relaxed and safe environment, it was easier to feel that kind of emotion.
Time slowly passed, and the two quietly soaked in the hot spring, seemingly quite harmonious. However, Si Huang felt as if someone’s gaze had touched her entire body. That gaze, almost tangible, was like an invisible hand, touching every point it landed on, a touch more elusive than a real one, a feeling that was both close and distant, making her heart itch. She could also hear the man’s breathing, heavier than usual, almost whispering in her ear.
Annoyed, Si Huang turned to look at Qin Fan, her eyes meeting his deep gaze.
“Enough quiet?” the man asked, his voice carrying the damp heat of a hot spring, scalding her heart.
Si Huang stared at him silently for two or three seconds, a dangerous glint in her eyes, slowly building until it filled her entire pupils.
*Splash*—the sound of water splashing.
Si Huang suddenly struck, pinning Qin Fan to the edge and biting down on his Adam’s apple.
“Hiss.” Qin Fan’s breath hitched from the sudden stimulation.
The person in the hot spring was naked, and their body was unlike the flat, muscular physiques he usually saw. The feel of their chest was completely different from his own, a masculine chest. The moment they touched, Qin Fan’s heart softened, and his desire intensified.
A smug glint flashed in his fiery eyes as he wrapped his arms around the waist of the woman in front of him, seeking ways to take advantage.
Perhaps it was the hazy atmosphere of the hot spring, or the water temperature that made one’s body and mind feel dazed, like being drunk, but Si Huang felt her mind wasn’t as clear and sharp as usual. As they played around with Qin Fan, things became intense. Their breaths mingled and their bodies pressed tightly together. Although they hadn’t initially planned to go that far, their bodies were already in perfect harmony, drawn together like magnets, unable to stop their urge to unite.
Wasn’t this alright? Qin Fan didn’t know, didn’t she know her own true psychological age? Even if they were together now, what was the harm?
Her thoughts were languid and slow to turn, the intoxicating sensation spreading not only throughout her body but also like tiny, fuzzy thorns slowly pricking her mind.
“Huh!?”
Si Huang was pressed down by someone’s hands around her waist.
[Your Majesty, someone’s here!] The voice in her head rang like thunder.
Before Si Huang’s mind was fully clear, her body reacted instinctively. Unable to break free from Qin Fan’s tight grip on her waist, she pressed herself against him, turning around to completely conceal herself with his tall figure.
“A Fan, I have something to ask you.” The door to the hot spring was pushed open, and Pei Ziwen’s voice came, the last word abruptly stopping, as if startled by something.
Si Huang rested her chin on Qin Fan’s shoulder, her eyes slightly narrowed as she looked at Pei Ziwen standing in the doorway, slowly asking, “Didn’t anyone teach you how to knock?”
The same question, now spoken in a low, husky voice, exuded a seductive allure that made one blush and their heart race, along with a hint of displeasure and coldness.
Pei Ziwen stared at the scene before her in disbelief, unable to utter a word for a long time.
A large hand covered Si Huang’s face, pressing her head back against his chest. Qin Fan then turned to look at Pei Ziwen, who had arrived at an inopportune moment. The moment their eyes met, Pei Ziwen could no longer deceive herself— the man’s eyes were filled with primal desire and aggression, dark and dangerous like a bottomless black hole.
At this moment, a terrifying whirlwind was swirling within this black hole, making Pei Ziwen feel that if she couldn’t offer a suitable reason to satisfy him, she would be swept away and shattered to pieces.
This dangerous intuition made Pei Ziwen swallow the question that was about to be uttered, and instead offered a dry apology, “I’m sorry.”
“Get out!” Qin Fan’s hoarse voice couldn’t hide his rage.
Pei Ziwen moved her lips, glancing behind him again, though his tall figure blocked her view.
Under Qin Fan’s intensely oppressive gaze, Pei Ziwen turned and walked out, closing the door behind her.
Because of her sudden appearance, Si Huang’s rationality returned, and her feelings cooled down. She reached out and pushed Qin Fan away.
Qin Fan clenched his fist, feeling inexplicably frustrated, both relieved and extremely annoyed.
If Pei Ziwen hadn’t suddenly arrived, given the previous situation, he might have really been unable to resist taking Si Huang right there.
But the sword was already drawn, yet it was cut off halfway— no man could bear this feeling. Especially Si Huang’s current attitude, which seemed very cold, completely different from her passionate demeanor just now.
Her slender body stood up from the water, water dripping from her smooth skin, with water droplets clinging to it as if reluctant to leave, swaying precariously, making men’s mouths dry and their mood even more depressed.
Si Huang ignored the burning gaze around her, grabbed a towel from the shore, and dried herself off. Having just soaked in the hot spring and experienced another passionate encounter, she was too lazy to bind her chest, casually putting on the outer robe she had taken from Qin Fan’s room, and then using illusion magic to cover her chest.
The man in the water watched as the protruding chest flattened, and he narrowed his eyes, his gaze then falling on Si Huang’s snow-white Adam’s apple. “Can your superpower change your appearance?”
Si Huang didn’t answer directly. “Do you think I need to change my appearance?”
Qin Fan frowned, wondering why there was a hint of anger in the child’s tone.
Si Huang sat on a rotten wooden chair on the shore, crossing her legs.
The movement of her long legs made the man in the water gasp.
Si Huang heard this and swung her long legs around, her fair calves contrasting sharply against the dark hem of her robe, the black and white colors seemingly giving rise to a vibrant hue.
Qin Fan’s heart pounded with the movement of her legs, unable to settle, feeling incredibly empty.
He suddenly reached out and grabbed her still-wet foot. The cool, damp touch brought him some relief, but the emptiness in other areas only intensified.
“What’s wrong with you now?”
Si Huang glanced at him lightly, kicking the foot he was holding. “Get dressed, someone’s waiting outside.”
“Let her wait.” Qin Fan’s gaze was completely captivated by the person before him.
Si Huang chuckled, “Judging by today’s scene, this kind of thing has happened quite a few times before, hasn’t it?”
“What kind of thing?”
“Her just barging into the bathroom without knocking.”
Qin Fan didn’t quite grasp the implications at first, but he wasn’t stupid. Connecting the dots with Si Huang’s strange behavior, a sudden realization dawned on him.
“Haha.” The man laughed, his laughter still lingering as he stared at Si Huang, laughing heartily.
Si Huang rarely saw him laugh like that. Coupled with his half-submerged body, wet hair and face, he was definitely a heartbreaker.
“What are you thinking?” Before the laughter subsided, Qin Fan said, “She’s no different from a man.”
“She’s a woman.” Si Huang calmly stated a fact.
Actually, it wasn’t that she couldn’t see Qin Fan’s lack of interest in Pei Ziwen, but the thought of her man being seen naked by other women, especially being allowed to freely enter and exit while bathing, filled her with an inexplicable resentment.
After a brief respite, Si Huang realized her behavior was pointless and twisted her ankle, signaling the man to let go. “I’m going back now. You handle that woman’s matter yourself.”
Qin Fan didn’t let go, squeezing her a few more times. “I only like you.”
“Okay,” Si Huang lifted her eyelids. “It’s a bit cold, let go.”
This nonchalant attitude left Qin Fan feeling rather empty. Unfortunately, children’s personalities change quickly. Seeing that Si Huang was indeed lightly dressed, Qin Fan released her hand and instructed, “Go sleep in my room.”
Si Huang nodded, picked up a towel to dry her hair, and left. Hearing the sound of water splashing from behind her, she turned back for a glance before opening the door and leaving.
Outside, Pei Ziwen stood waiting.
She turned around as soon as she heard the sound, and upon seeing Si Huang, her gaze sharpened and deepened, turning unreadable.
Si Huang smiled faintly at her, saying nothing more.
As the two passed each other, Pei Ziwen suddenly spoke, “What’s your purpose?”
“Qin Fan.”
“…What?”
Si Huang stopped, meeting her stunned gaze. “My purpose.”
Pei Ziwen opened her mouth, but no sound came out.
“It’s what you saw.” Si Huang raised the corners of her mouth.
That smile, extending from the corners of her mouth to the wicked glint in her eyes, brought her entire face to life, dazzling and captivating.
This was no longer the innocent, harmless, sunny young man in front of his elders; he was clearly an extremely dangerous and arrogant individual!
Pei Ziwen watched as Si Huang walked two meters away before snapping out of her daze, calling out, “Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell…”
Before she could finish, a deep voice interrupted her, “Tell what?”
Pei Ziwen looked at Qin Fan, who was walking out wrapped in a bath towel, “Do you know what you’re doing?”
Qin Fan didn’t answer immediately, but felt Si Huang’s gaze, seen from a few meters away, pierce his bare chest like thorns. For some inexplicable stroke of genius, the usually emotionally inept man instantly understood the meaning of that look. He unfolded the robe he was holding, draped it over his shoulders, and even tied the belt.
Si Huang then withdrew her gaze and leisurely walked away.
“…” Pei Ziwen stared blankly at the man before her, unable to believe her eyes, especially at the amused look in his eyes.
“Don’t talk nonsense,” Qin Fan said, looking down at her only after Si Huang was out of sight.
Pei Ziwen was utterly surprised. “Are you serious?”
Qin Fan pouted. “Do you think I’m the kind of person who plays games?”
Pei Ziwen was speechless. Her expression kept changing. Seeing Qin Fan’s expression soften, and then seeing him about to leave, she immediately reached out and grabbed him. “Didn’t we agree on something in the beginning? If you do this, then our previous agreement…”
“I’ll help you if I can,” Qin Fan said.
Under the pressure of his gaze, Pei Ziwen helplessly let go of his hand and stood motionless.
