Sheng Ziyou already knew that if she directly praised Feng Yuanxuan, Wen Shanshan and Zheng Jiaoqian would definitely undermine her.

In Feng Yuanxuan’s current situation, the more his mentor praised him, the easier it would be for him to be vindicated.

Wen Shanshan was still looking at Sheng Ziyou with a blank expression, but Zheng Jiaoqian had already figured it out.

She gritted her teeth and cursed Sheng Ziyou, that woman!

Ran Youqing was somewhat surprised: “This song was written by Feng Yuanxuan?”

Feng Yuanxuan nodded, glancing gratefully at Sheng Ziyou out of the corner of his eye.

“Amazing!” Ran Youqing exclaimed, widening his eyes and giving a thumbs up. “To write such a good song in such a short time is truly impressive!”

Ran Youqing had always been like this; he never hid his admiration for anyone.

Qu Feng and Xiang Yuan nodded in agreement. Neither of them were experts, so they naturally couldn’t point out any problems.

Even the professional teachers among the staff nodded and said, “The song is fine, let’s do it all the way through.”

After she finished speaking, Zheng Jiaoqian walked over with a smile: “I haven’t practiced much yet, so I’ll just make do with this performance for now. Please don’t be too critical of me.”

“How could that be?” Qu Feng and the others quickly said no.

The six trainees plus Zheng Jiaoqian, the female instructor, made a total of seven people, and they all stood in their positions.

Zheng Jiaoqian stood in the center surrounded by stars, smiling slightly, and they actually looked quite well-matched.

As the music started, the group began to dance.

This was the first time Sheng Ziyou had seen their choreographed dance. To be honest, it was quite good, and the dancers performed it very well. At first glance, there seemed to be no problem with it.

However, some minor flaws did require time to be thoroughly corrected, such as inconsistent movements or large differences in force.

Fortunately, there were still several days left, so it was not too late.

Sheng Ziyou raised her eyebrows slightly. The group leader was Feng Yuanxuan, and Zheng Jiaoqian was in the center position during the dance. This was reasonable and there was nothing to say about it.

However, the people who interacted most with Zheng Jiaoqian were Jiao Xiu and Hu Changming, while Feng Yuanxuan’s position was in the back, making him quite inconspicuous and unremarkable.

But he was still smiling. He was already a laid-back person, and after Sheng Ziyou introduced him to Huayao, he became even more laid-back.

He’s so indifferent to everything… Sheng Ziyou didn’t even know what to say about him.

Her eyes held a hint of helplessness.

Moreover, it was clear that Feng Yuanxuan hadn’t mastered the steps yet, but he didn’t get to where he was today solely because of his singing.

He wasn’t a great dancer, but he wasn’t a burden either. Like right now, his movements were basically fine, and he could manage to get by by glancing at Bei Yifan in front of him and dancing along with everyone else.

Jiao Xiu, Hu Changming, and Bei Yifan all danced very well. The three of them had been practicing this dance for quite some time and were considered the dance leaders, so they did dance much better than Feng Yuanxuan.

Zheng Jiaoqian also danced quite well. Her movements were not as complicated as the other trainees’, and she didn’t have much to sing. Moreover, she clearly hadn’t practiced singing and dancing together yet, so she didn’t sing.

This wasn’t a formal rehearsal, and the requirements weren’t strict, so nobody said anything.

Soon, this group finished dancing, and everyone started clapping.

It was really quite good. Although there were still some flaws, for someone of this age, writing songs and choreographing in such a short time was already quite impressive.

“Great! I think it’s already very good, especially Jiao Xiu, who jumped exceptionally well!” Ran Youqing clapped and praised.

Then he paused for a moment: “But there are still some minor problems. You need to practice more and get used to it so that you can jump in unison as much as possible.”

“Okay—” the group said in unison.

Ran Youqing nodded and said nothing more.

Wen Shanshan coughed and began to nitpick: “However, some trainees are not familiar with the dance moves. Take Feng Yuanxuan, for example. Everyone else dances very well, but you are much worse than them. You always seem to be a step behind.”

Sheng Ziyou rolled her eyes slightly, thinking to herself, how come she didn’t notice that he was a beat behind?

Wen Shanshan would nitpick at anyone she supported, and coincidentally, Feng Yuanxuan’s movements weren’t as good as others’, so she used that as an excuse to criticize him.

Sheng Ziyou raised her chin slightly and said slowly, “Feng Yuanxuan, when did you stop writing songs and return to the team to practice dancing?”

“The day before yesterday.” Feng Yuanxuan looked at Sheng Ziyou, his eyes conveying worry.

Sheng Ziyou knew what he meant: don’t get into a fight with Wen Shanshan over him, it’s unnecessary.

But……

Sheng Ziyou and Wen Shanshan’s argument wasn’t because of anyone else, it was simply because… she owed it to someone.

She turned to look at Wen Shanshan: “Teacher Wen, he’s already gotten this good even after he started practicing the day before yesterday. I think that’s amazing.”

Wen Shanshan wanted to speak, but Sheng Ziyou interrupted her—

“Don’t even compare yourself to other non-professional dancers. After all, you couldn’t write a song in a few days, could you?”

Sheng Ziyou looked at Wen Shanshan with a half-smile, making her feel suffocated and unable to respond by saying that she could do it herself. It was really infuriating!

Zheng Jiaoqian glanced at Sheng Ziyou, then at Feng Yuanxuan out of the corner of her eye, lost in thought.

Xiang Yuan, who was also a dance teacher, gave a few more comments before it was Gu Yuzheng’s group’s turn.

They played the music first, and this song was slightly inferior to the one by Feng Yuanxuan’s group.

And the styles were also a bit different. Feng Yuanxuan’s songs gave people a gentler feeling, while this song was a bit… explosive.

Fortunately, neither Wen Shanshan nor Zheng Jiaoqian were particularly skilled in this area, so they didn’t nitpick.

The two looked at the group intently, waiting for their performance.

The group took their positions, the music started, and the seven began to move. Their movements were not fast, but rather graceful.

Gu Yuzheng opened the show with his magnetic and captivating voice, drawing everyone’s attention.

Apart from the singers, the other participants, though their postures were simple, were quite neat and attractive.

Wen Shanshan scoffed lightly. Sheng Ziyou wouldn’t think she could get away with such a simple action…

The moment this thought crossed her mind, the music suddenly sped up, and everyone who was already half-squatting suddenly sprang into action, performing synchronized, high-difficulty moves with explosive and unrestrained dance moves that captivated everyone’s attention.

Sheng Ziyou, dressed in red, stood in the very center, yet she didn’t look out of place at all. She resembled a delicate rose, surrounded by pretty green leaves, each element essential, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene.

This explosive dance segment ended with synchronized and graceful movements accompanied by Ji Ran’s beautiful voice.

Sheng Ziyou didn’t sing either, not because she couldn’t, but because she didn’t want to.

Gu Yuzheng said in the practice room, “Let’s conserve some strength so as not to push them too far and then go all out in the next period of time.”

None of the trainees in this group were the best in any particular area, but almost all of them were people with strong overall abilities.

From the voice to the dance, to the eyes and expressions, there was nothing wrong with it.

Another move involved everyone jumping into the air. This move itself wasn’t difficult; the challenge lied in the fact that everyone had to jump together, reach the same height, and land at the same time.

After the entire performance, the group stood still for a moment, then moved together to bow in unison.
