Si Huang smiled and said, “What I’m about to say will soon be published on Fenghuang Entertainment’s official website. I hope everyone understands.”

“I’ve said I’ll never accept any interviews from Real Entertainment again. They won’t let this go so easily; they reported my news without my permission. I think I’ll earn some pocket money again.”

“Pfft—” Fans burst into laughter upon hearing her last sentence.

Si Huang smiled at the fans, eliciting a few screams, and then continued, “Furthermore, any partner of Real Entertainment will be blacklisted by me, Si Huang, and by Fenghuang Entertainment.”

A commotion erupted.

This startled the entertainment reporters present; they hadn’t expected Si Huang to utter such arrogant words.

Not only that, Si Huang’s next sentence was sure to push Real Entertainment to the brink of collapse: “I will not work with any artist who accepts an interview with Real Entertainment.”

“You mean if an artist accepts an interview with Real Entertainment, it’s either you or them, and if they happen to be chosen for a program or movie later, you won’t agree?” a reporter asked incredulously.

“That’s right.” Si Huang smiled faintly, answering without hesitation.

“Hiss!” A collective gasp rippled through the crowd.

They must have been blind to think Si Huang’s attitude was good today, that his temper had softened, that he had become gentle and refined!

This was nothing short of softened; he was clearly even more arrogant! Arrogant beyond belief!

“Aren’t you afraid of getting yourself into trouble by doing this? Are you so confident that everyone will definitely side with you?” a male reporter couldn’t help but ask.

Si Huang countered, “So, you get to choose?”

The male reporter moved his lips, but couldn’t answer, his face flushed with embarrassment.

He realized that his true feeling deep down was: Real Entertainment’s value was nowhere near that of Si Huang!

Currently, aside from established superstars, who among the new generation and second- or third-tier celebrities could compare to Si Huang? If they were to be cast together in a program or movie, and it were a trade-off, the producer and director would likely side with Si Huang!

As for established superstars, without any grudge against Si Huang, they wouldn’t bother with an interview with *Real Entertainment*.

Analyzing all these factors, everyone was astonished to discover that Si Huang’s influence alone was enough to bring down a long-established entertainment gossip agency!

Holy crap! To be brought down in this way is a complete slap in the face! There’s nothing more humiliating!

The entertainment reporters frantically wrote down every word Si Huang said.

They didn’t care what became of *Real Entertainment*; better to sacrifice a friend than themselves. If Si Huang really fell, they’d be happy.

The entertainment reporters were astonished, thinking: Si Huang may be arrogant, but he never shows any respect to the reporters, which is infuriating. However, he is also a treasure trove, and every time we encounter him, we can find exciting topics to report. He is truly both loved and hated!

In contrast, the fans’ reactions were much purer. Having witnessed their idol’s arrogance firsthand, they were as excited as if they themselves had accomplished something amazing, feeling an overwhelming sense of shared glory and triumph.

At that moment, how could they express their joy and excitement? Screaming, regardless of what others thought or thought, just a constant barrage of “Ahhhhh!”

Even Yu Xi, let alone the entertainment reporters and fans, was taken aback by Si Huang’s sudden remarks. However, he was used to her unpredictable behavior, so he remained outwardly calm, showing no sign that he hadn’t initially anticipated Si Huang’s actions.

The group walked towards the airport exit, with reporters and fans still following. Si Huang no longer answered the reporters’ questions, but the fans’ chatter could still be heard.

“That damned Real Entertainment, with its utterly worthless mouth, got slapped in the face by His Majesty again! This time, it deserves a good slap to the face!”

“One slap isn’t enough, it has to be a full slap, a full slap, a full slap, to stop its shameless act of slandering His Majesty!”

“Stop talking, from now on, we’ll strongly boycott Real Entertainment’s new articles and magazines. They’re in this industry, so we’ll keep an eye on them, good or bad. We’ll stop buying them whenever we see them, let’s see how long they can keep this up.”

“That’s right, that’s right, send out messages, severely boycott Real Entertainment, let that dog of a Real Entertainment get out of the entertainment industry, it’s too offensive!” The message spread like wildfire. These fans were quick-witted and came up with a good idea. If they united to boycott Real Entertainment, it would definitely be a heavy blow to the company.

At the airport gate, the van was already waiting. Assistants Su Su and Guo Nai saw Si Huang and his group of four and quickly ran over to help them load their suitcases into the trunk.

“You guys should head back early too.” After getting into the car, Si Huang noticed that the fan group had lined up, blocking the entertainment reporters who wanted to ask more questions. She was taken aback for a moment, then couldn’t help but laugh. “Well done.”

Wow! What did they just see? His Majesty had cheated again! He was smiling so gently and charmingly and even praised them for doing a great job. He was simply… incredibly handsome!

The fans could tell from their expressions how happy they were.

And the entertainment reporters? They watched helplessly as Si Huang’s van drove away, then stared blankly at this strange group of fans who seemed to have an overflowing sense of responsibility— damn it, Si Huang is weird, and the fans are weird too. They really think they’re the knights escorting His Majesty!?

….

In the van.

Su Su handed out bottled water to the group. When she handed it to Qin Fan, she paused. Who was this gentleman?

Qin Fan didn’t notice her gaze. He just took off his sunglasses and mask, pulled Si Huang to the back seat, and even closed the curtain between the two seats.

“Huh?” Su Su stared wide-eyed.

Yu Xi’s brow twitched, thinking that these two were becoming increasingly blatant. On the surface, he remained calm and shook his head at Su Su and Guo Nai, “Mr. Qin and Si Huang are good brothers.”

“Oh.” As assistants to artists, they knew they shouldn’t have any inappropriate curiosity.

Because there were quite a few people in the van, the back seat couldn’t be unfolded, so Si Huang leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes to rest.

Qin Fan next to her pressed down the armrest between their chairs, “Lie down on my lap.”

Si Huang opened her eyes a crack and lazily glanced at him, “No need, I’m not that tired.”

Seeing her refusal, Qin Fan didn’t insist. His gaze swept over her languid face, and he suddenly said, “I used to have the wrong idea.”

“Hmm?” What did he use to have the wrong idea about?

“An artist is indeed not just an actor.”

Hearing this, Si Huang, being an artist herself, perked up and asked with a smile, “Why are you suddenly saying this to me?” What made this military officer change his mind?

A hand landed on her face. The rough skin, calloused from years of holding guns and performing various training missions, rubbed against her delicate skin, creating a unique tactile sensation for both of them.

“As a superior officer, you must always show your subordinates your strongest, most indestructible side. Only then can you instill morale in your soldiers, making them fearless.”

“You’ve always done the same to your fans.”

“You’ve indeed brought them joy and courage, everything positive, eliminating any negative influences.”

Although Qin Fan’s expression remained calm as he spoke, his gaze on Si Huang was deep and focused, carrying a unique power.

Si Huang’s lips curled into a smile of pleasure she herself didn’t realize. It wasn’t the content of Qin Fan’s words that pleased her; it was simply that hearing them from this man was particularly pleasing.

This smile was like a child receiving the praise and recognition they’d always craved from an adult— a touch of pride and self-satisfaction, almost childlike.

Qin Fan chuckled, his large hand landing on Si Huang’s head. “You’re excellent, very well done.”

Si Huang pushed his unruly hand away, jokingly saying, “So, you’re also captivated by me and want to become my fan?”

“I’ve always been captivated by you,” Qin Fan said without hesitation, his expression still serious.

Si Huang happily reached out and hooked his chin. “Call me Your Majesty.”

Qin Fan grabbed her mischievous hand, their fingers interlocking, and suddenly pulled her into his arms, sighing earnestly, “I treat you like Your Majesty every single day.”

“Tsk.” Si Huang gave him a disdainful look, saying it sounded better than it was actually written.

She tried to get up, but Qin Fan held her waist with his iron arm and asked, “Isn’t this how you treat His Majesty the Emperor?”

Without a word, Qin Fan took off her shoes, then lifted her legs and placed them on the chair she had been sitting on, letting her lean against him in a comfortable reclining position. He then looked up and asked, “Are you satisfied with my service?”

“Hahaha.” Seeing the usually self-disciplined and aloof man joking with her, Si Huang laughed and reached out to pat his head. “Hmm, not bad. Here’s a reward for you.”

“What reward?”

“You’ll carry me all the way.”

“…Thank you for your grace, Your Majesty.”

“Pfft.”

The two spoke in a moderately loud voice, without any deliberate attempt to hide. The van was only so big; such that Yu Xi and the others outside could hear some of it.

Su Su’s cheeks flushed slightly. She didn’t know why she felt a little shy. Even though His Majesty and Mr. Qin’s conversation was nothing, she felt ashamed. It was really too much.

Guo Nai glanced at her silently, then silently looked at Yu Xi.

Was this really what a good brother would say? More like best buddies!

Yu Xi remained calm under his gaze, glancing back at him. “He says they’re brothers, so they’re brothers. What are you guessing?”

Guo Nai, acting as the assistant, silently averted his gaze, trying to convince himself he hadn’t heard anything.

Just then, Si Huang’s lazy voice came from the back seat, “Take me to Wan Heng on South Ring Road.”

“Okay.” Yu Xi immediately knew that Si Huang was referring to the new apartment in Beijing she had recently bought.

He gave the address to the driver, and the van headed towards their destination.

A little over an hour later, the van stopped at Si Huang’s villa.

Yu Xi and the others got out of the car first, calling out to Si Huang for a while before she finally stepped out, looking languid and sleepy. Qin Fan, as always, followed her with the air of a professional bodyguard.

“You all should go back and rest first. I have personal matters to attend to tomorrow; we can talk about it the day after tomorrow,” Si Huang told Yu Xi.

“Okay,” they replied.

Si Huang then took out her luggage, led Qin Fan towards her residence, and went inside with her key.

Taking a change of clothes from her suitcase and packing it into a bag, Si Huang asked Qin Fan as she packed, “I’m going to Grandma’s. Do you want to go home first?”

Qin Fan shook his head. “I’ll go with you to Grandma Yu’s first.”

Si Huang nodded, then paused. What did he mean by going with her to Grandma Yu’s first?

Then she heard Qin Fan say, “Then you’ll come with me to my house.”

“…” Si Huang froze, staring intently at Qin Fan.

Did this mean… meeting his parents?
