The candlelight dinner went off without a hitch, thanks to the dim lighting in the restaurant and the open-minded attitude of the United States. Same-sex relationships weren’t surprising here and generally treated with respect. So, even if someone stumbled upon Si Huang and Qin Fan’s flirtation, they wouldn’t disturb them or make a scene.
Since Si Huang had work the next day and there wasn’t much else to do outside that evening, and Qin Fan seemed to have his own plans, the two drove back to the hotel.
Upon seeing them return, Yu Xi explained, “The clothes have been delivered and are in the living room.” Si Huang’s room, even a hotel room, was not accessible without her permission. “Also, Mr. Qin’s reservation…”
He hadn’t finished his words when Qin Fan calmly stated, “Si Huang and I are living together.”
“…” Yu Xi glanced at Si Huang, hoping she would refuse.
However, Si Huang only considered it for a few seconds before nodding, “Okay.” Yu Xi looked from one to the other, exhausted, and said nothing more. They were in love, so why should he be such a pushover?
With Si Huang’s approval, Qin Fan picked up the shopping bags from the living room and followed Si Huang into the room.
Before they entered, Yu Xi gave him a motherly reminder, “You have to work at 12 o’clock tomorrow, so get a good night’s rest and don’t do anything too strenuous.”
What was strenuous?
They weren’t children anymore; they knew what they were doing.
Si Huang didn’t react, but Qin Fan glared at Yu Xi with a cold, icy look.
Yu Xi’s hands and feet went cold at the glare, wondering what he had said wrong. Wouldn’t it be better for Mr. Qin if they really didn’t do anything? He had heard that doing it from below didn’t require much effort, but it could still increase the risk of injury. It would be hard to get out of bed and walk the next day… Ugh! Stop!
In the room.
Si Huang went to the bathroom to shower. Halfway through, when Qin Fan asked if she wanted to shower together, she stopped and looked back at him.
Noticing the man’s calm demeanor, seemingly unembarrassed by the suggestion, Si Huang chuckled and said, “As long as you can hold it in.”
The man felt he could, but he probably couldn’t help but react if he held back. It wouldn’t be nice to be constantly seen in such a state of disarray by the child.
After waiting for a few seconds, and seeing the man shake his head, Si Huang raised an eyebrow and went to the bathroom alone.
“Give me your credit card,” the man’s voice echoed again. Without even turning, Si Huang replied, “It’s on the table, get it yourself.”
After about twenty minutes of showering, Si Huang emerged, draped in a bathrobe.
“You can go.”
“Too slow.” Qin Fan had always thought she showered too slowly. “Sit on the bed.”
Si Huang obeyed, eager to see what he was up to.
Then she saw the man go into the bathroom and come back with a towel and a hair dryer.
“Can you do it?” Si Huang understood what he was going to do, but she doubted Qin Fan’s skill. “If you burn me… well.”
Qin Fan rubbed his head with a firm, somewhat punishing hand.
Si Huang, who was inside, tilted her head and pulled herself out, looking at him with disdain.
“Be good,” the man lowered his voice.
Si Huang: “If you can make me feel good, I definitely won’t move.”
It was originally a serious statement, but when it reached Qin Fan’s ears, the very words “make me feel good” sent a whirlwind of thoughts through his mind.
Not moving until I make you feel good? Feel good? But he always kept his word. Wanting to kill this bad kid wasn’t a joke.
Why not just kill her in the comfort of her own skin!
Si Huang had no idea that behind Qin Fan’s cold and abstinent face lay such erotic thoughts.
The man’s movements had slowly become smooth and precise, the air from the hair dryer neither too strong nor too weak, just having a normal warmth.
Feeling comfortable being served, Si Huang naturally leaned against the man’s chest, closing her eyes and relaxing.
“What’s the work tomorrow?” Qin Fan asked.
In the quiet room, the man’s voice lacked its usual oppressiveness. Instead, it was deep, like the moonlit sea at night, the deep sea and the moon spots overlapping and undulating, the moisture emanating a gentle warmth.
Si Huang’s eyes remained closed as she replied, “I’m going to meet someone. If I’m successful, I’ll have to do a photo shoot.”
“Arthur Stoker?”
“How do you know that name?” Si Huang opened her eyes slightly in surprise, catching the man’s inquiring gaze. Then she continued, “It’s not him, it’s a thirteen-year-old girl named Ace Mephistopheles!”
“Hmm,” Qin Fan said. “Why take photos with a child?”
“Angels and demons.”
“Kid’s stuff.”
“That’s easy to say,” Si Huang said with a smile. “Come and see when the time comes, and you’ll know if it’s kid’s stuff.”
Qin Fan saw the sharpness in her eyes. It was as if the mention of her own field made the child particularly spirited and confident, like a king who wouldn’t tolerate being violated or looked down upon.
“Okay,” he promised. “I’ll definitely go and see.” He then personally tended to Si Huang for about four or five minutes. After blow-drying her hair, Qin Fan put down his tools and ran his thick fingers through her hair, feeling the soft, still slightly warm strands. He felt that her hair alone held a unique childlike magic, and once he touched it, he couldn’t bear to let go.
“Serve till the end, give me a head massage.” Si Huang had experience with Qin Fan’s massage skills and was confident.
The man scoffed, grabbed her hair and tugged lightly, “You wish.” He then stood up, packed his things, and went to take a shower in the bathroom.
Si Huang responded to the sound of the bathroom door closing before getting up from the bed and sitting in front of her laptop.
She updated her Weibo and processed the documents sent from the company. She then picked up the phone next to her and opened it to see a message.
“Huh?” A message from the bank alerted her.
She unlocked the screen and read the content of the message carefully. A meaningful look then appeared on her face. She went to search for records on her computer but found no trace.
The bathroom door happened to open just then, and the man wearing the same bathrobe as her walked out. Si Huang turned around and saw that his belt was tied neither too loose nor too tight, and his collar was open, revealing a large area of sexy skin.
“Have you linked your bank card to my credit card?” Si Huang’s eyes lingered on his chest and face, asking about what she had just seen.
“Yeah.” The man said calmly, “It contains my salary and task bonuses.”
Si Huang deliberately asked, “Are the salary and bonuses high?”
“Enough for you to spend.” Qin Fan did not have a deep understanding of the concept of money.
Anyway, he didn’t need much to spend on a regular basis.
“Thank you.” Si Huang certainly didn’t need to spend his money, but she was pleased with the man’s kindness.
“No need,” the man said, “This is just one of the ways to please you.”
“Haha.” Si Huang closed his computer. “As a reward for successfully pleasing me, you’re allowed to sleep with me tonight.”
Qin Fan’s eyebrows jumped, his expression as if to say: Didn’t you intend to sleep with me from the beginning?
Si Huang: “The room is very large.”
The man didn’t reply. He responded with action—striding over to the bed and untying his bathrobe.
This time, the man was at least wearing boxer briefs underneath, but even that couldn’t hide his considerable wealth.
Si Huang’s mouth twitched slightly, unsure whether to call the man generous in this regard, or intentional. Knowing she was a woman, his attitude towards her seemed unchanged.
Overall, this feeling made Si Huang feel more at ease.
“Your hair is still wet.” Si Huang also stepped onto the bed and ran a hand through his damp hair. “Why don’t you blow-dry it?”
He didn’t expect her to return the favor.
Qin Fan didn’t make such a request. He said, “It’s still early. I’ll wait until my hair dries naturally before going to bed.” So what should they do while waiting for his hair to dry?
They were both already sitting on the bed. Could they possibly chat and read peacefully?
Si Huang understood immediately, staring at the man’s seemingly aloof expression with a half-smile.
A large hand suddenly grasped her wrist and pulled it to her lips.
The evening’s dessert officially began.
….
The next morning.
Yu Ling happened to see Qin Fan emerge from Si Huang’s room, and her expression became strange.
This continued until everyone had breakfast. Yu Xi preferred to let his sister suffer a short pain but fearing that Yu Ling’s probing gaze would anger Qin Fan, he pulled her aside and quietly explained Si Huang and Qin Fan’s current relationship to her.
Yu Ling’s expression was filled with shock, and Yu Xi sighed. In the past, he had only advised his sister not to pursue Si Huang anymore, and judging by Yu Ling’s usual behavior, he had assumed she understood and hadn’t taken any further action. Looking back, it seems he’d been overthinking it.
Fortunately, Yu Ling, aside from showing a slightly sour expression, didn’t exhibit any extreme behavior or attitude. She just remained silent, her gaze fixed on Qin Fan.
Yu Xi could only plead with Qin Fan to not mind.
“It’s okay, let her see,” Qin Fan replied with surprisingly good temper.
Yu Xi thought the man had a change of heart, but then he added in a deep, magnetic voice, “Let her see clearly that there’s no chance of her and Si Huang being together.”
Yu Xi: “…”
Even if he was the wrong person for her younger sister’s first love, there shouldn’t be such a blow!
Yu Ling also heard Qin Fan’s words, and her already somber expression hardened further. She then lowered her head, not wanting anyone to see.
Fortunately, at noon, the time she’d agreed to meet Louis, Louis arrived half an hour early, breaking the impasse.
“Who is this gentleman?” He immediately noticed the imposing Qin Fan.
Si Huang introduced him, “My friend…”
“Arnold,” Qin Fan continued.
“Hello, Mr. Arnold.” Louis didn’t care whether the name he gave was real or not. So after greeting Qin Fan, he asked Si Huang again: “Are you ready? If you are, we will set off. We have already contacted Ace.”
“Let’s go.” Si Huang smiled.
