No matter how much Qin Fan resented Yu Xi’s presence, the clothes he finally wore were prepared by Yu Xi.

Ten minutes ago, when Si Huang, fully dressed, opened the door and walked out, and asked Yu Xi to find a set of clothes Qin Fan could wear, Yu Xi’s expression was truly captivating, as if he had witnessed an ape invasion. He looked Si Huang up and down, confirming her gait and her face was radiant with satisfaction, and then he felt relieved. “Thank goodness there wasn’t a job today, otherwise what would happen to tomorrow’s work?”

The thought flashed through his mind.

Yu Xi’s face fell. He felt that since being with Si Huang, his resilience had grown.

The clothes he had found weren’t quite right, but Qin Fan had a great figure, and even simple athletic wear made him look like an international supermodel.

Besides Si Huang and Qin Fan, Yu Xi and Yu Ling were also there, and the four of them enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Even though Si Huang’s fame hadn’t spread to Country M, anyone would take a second look at a handsome face, especially at a foreigner, who was really quite good-looking.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet, and the occasional glances from the Americans were calm and polite, full of admiration and amazement.

Since Si Huang entered the entertainment industry, she had rarely experienced such a relaxing meal in a hotel restaurant. It was true that fame could sometimes be a sweet burden. If not handled properly, it could plunge a star into an abyss of stress. Proper relaxation was thus crucial, and it was no wonder there were so many rumors of celebrities using drugs; it was just the wrong way to relax.

After dinner, Si Huang grabbed her phone and credit card and prepared to go out with Qin Fan.

Seeing this, Yu Xi couldn’t help but offer some advice, “It’s almost seven o’clock now. If you need anything, I can…” Before he could finish, Qin Fan’s gaze cut him off.

He remembered, this guy wasn’t just any ordinary guy.

“Don’t worry,” Si Huang said with a smile. “We won’t stay up playing too late.”

Yu Xi was shocked. “Play?” It was a date, after all!

Si Huang continued, “No one here knows us yet, so you and Ling Ling can go relax for a bit. Just be careful.” She then glanced at Yu Ling, who was standing beside her. “Since we’re here, have some fun, go shopping. The money you earn should be spent on yourself. Remember to have fun.”

Yu Ling’s eyes lit up, and she smiled. “Okay, I see.”

As a young woman, she couldn’t shake her love of shopping. Besides, learning more about fashion would be beneficial to her career.

Speaking of which, since she signed with Fenghuang Entertainment, she’d been receiving a salary, just like Yu Xi. The salary was definitely not low, more than enough for her to have fun in Los Angeles.

Seeing that even his sister had “betrayed” him, what else could he say? He could only tell Si Huang to be more careful.

He was really worried about the two of them kissing in public.

The hotel Louis had booked for them was in a bustling part of the city. Just a few minutes into a taxi, they could see the long, winding streets, bustling with people.

The buildings were American-style, and the people walking along the sidewalks wore a truly diverse array of clothing and hairstyles.

Si Huang was driving the car she’d rented through the hotel’s customer service, with Qin Fan sitting in the passenger seat beside her.

“Where are we going?” Qin Fan asked.

Si Huang replied, “First, let’s buy you some clothes to change into for the next two days.”

Qin Fan’s lips moved. He was thinking of just finding a couple of pieces that would fit his height and build, not caring about the hassle of going out and picking them out. But seeing the excited child beside him, he swallowed his words.

“Never mind. Just let her do it. Anyway, I’ll be with her.” The thought flashed through Qin Fan’s mind.

After about ten minutes of driving, Si Huang chose a large shopping mall, pulled into the parking lot, and took Qin Fan inside.

“Do you have any special requirements for clothing?” Si Huang asked Qin Fan as they walked.

“Simple and comfortable.” The man was obviously not interested in this.

Si Huang had probably guessed the answer and stared at his indifferent face, “Sorry, today is destined to make you complicated and uncomfortable.”

“It doesn’t matter.” Qin Fan turned his head and looked at her, “As long as you are happy.”

He was very patient. It was just a matter of trying on a few more clothes. As long as it made the child happy, it was no big deal.

The honest words made Si Huang smile.

She then chose a store that was suitable for Qin Fan’s age and walked in. The clothing salesperson inside greeted her politely, “Welcome, how can I help you?”

Si Huang responded in fluent English, “Thank you, I can choose it myself.”

The female salesperson with blonde hair also smiled back and followed the two quietly. Whenever Si Huang picked up a piece of clothing, she would give a brief introduction.

“If you’re choosing clothes for this gentleman, I suggest you go over there.” The shopping guide probably saw Si Huang’s intention and pointed to the front right, “With this gentleman’s figure, any clothes can fit him, but dark colors can highlight his mature charm.”

“You’re right.” Si Huang raised the corner of her mouth and gave up the idea of teasing Qin Fan anymore – the clothes she had just picked out were definitely not suitable for Qin Fan’s temperament.

After spending more than ten minutes selecting, Si Huang picked out a total of four sets and then handed them over to Qin Fan to go to the fitting room to change and try them on.

She sat on the single sofa, waiting for Qin Fan to come out with a little anticipation.

The shopping guide brought her a cup of black tea and talked softly, “Is that gentleman your brother?”

“Do you think he is?” Si Huang asked her with interest.

The salesperson was silent for a moment. “You’re both very handsome, and despite the age difference, you look like brothers, but you don’t.”

Si Huang took a sip of the black tea, letting the aroma of the tea brew in her mouth, and even the smile on her lips became more alluring. “Ah, he’s my lover.”

“…” The salesperson’s face froze for a moment, but soon returned to normal, and she exclaimed sincerely, “Your lover is quite outstanding!”

In fact, what she wanted to say most was: Why do top-notch men have to be gay! What a waste of resources! It’s rare to see such a top-notch foreign man!

The slight sound of a door opening made the two of them turn their heads and see a tall man in a suit walk out.

What does it mean to look thin when dressed, and muscular when undressed? This was exactly what Qin Fan was like!

The suit fit his figure tightly, and the well-cut and sophisticated tailoring showed off his perfect figure.

However, perhaps Qin Fan wasn’t good at tying ties, or what, but the buttons of his shirt weren’t even buttoned, leaving the tie hanging from it. The most abominable thing was that this man, who looked so unconsciously flirtatious, walked out barefoot, yet he didn’t look slovenly at all, and instead had a certain wild, uninhibited charm.

Si Huang heard the salesperson beside her swallow her saliva.

Qin Fan managed to pull off a formal, dignified suit in such a way that it made people want to pounce on him; it was quite a feat.

“How is it?” the man asked expressionlessly.

Si Huang stood up and walked towards him. “Does it bother you?”

“Yes,” Qin Fan said, not even trying to lie.

Si Huang laughed, and while he said it was bothersome, he didn’t at least show any intention of turning away.

She asked Qin Fan to bend down, then buttoned his shirt and tied his tie with a Windsor knot. After she was done, she stepped back and looked at the man in front of her.

“…” His aloof and restrained demeanor made it even more tempting to strip him instead.

“Not bad,” Si Huang said to him. “Go change into your next outfit.”

Qin Fan stared at her for a few moments, not immediately turning to the fitting room.

When Si Huang gave him a quizzical look, he pointed at the tie around his neck and said, “Help me untie it.”

Si Huang was startled at first, then smiled brightly. She went over to help him untie it, looking up at him as she did so. “Take a look at it yourself. Remember how to tie it. You’ll definitely have a chance to wear it someday.”

Who knew she would meet the man’s black eyes, as if they were a sea of stars, filled with mysterious nebulae. Their vast, unknown power was captivating.

It seemed as if a moment had passed, when Si Huang felt something touch her lips. Then she saw the man, still maintaining his cool and restrained expression, turn and enter the fitting room.

Si Huang was silent for a second, then turned to look at the salesperson. She saw that the foreign woman was already aroused, her eyes a mixture of excitement and shyness, as if she had stolen the forbidden fruit.

From her expression, Si Huang could tell that her feeling was correct: Qin Fan had indeed kissed her.

Si Huang calmly returned to her seat, awaiting Qin Fan’s next outfit. She said to the salesperson, “Go pick out a pair of leather shoes and loafers for him.”

“What’s your partner’s size?”

Si Huang thought for a moment, roughly guessing it and converting to American standards, it’s “9.5.”

“Okay, please wait.” The salesperson immediately went to do it.

Qin Fan, now dressed in a new outfit, was not seen by the salesperson this time.

He was wearing a stylish, minimalist, spring long-sleeved outfit, primarily black. He looked incredibly handsome, his coolness tinged with a certain aloofness.

Si Huang had to admit, Qin Fan’s temperament really suited dark clothing.

“Very handsome!” she praised generously.

Qin Fan’s eyebrows twitched, and seeing no one around, he strode over to Si Huang… and with a stroke, he finished the black tea she had been drinking.

Si Huang chuckled. Men still knew the rules.

“Do you want me to try on the next one?” Qin Fan asked after finishing his drink.

Si Huang said, “If you don’t want to try it on, just take it.”

Judging from the results of the two outfits, it was clear that the next one would suit Qin Fan just as well.

Qin Fan frowned, as if pondering a crucial question, but ultimately returned to the fitting room without a word.

As the fitting room door closed, Si Huang smiled heartily, suddenly feeling a gaze on her.

A normal person’s gaze rarely registered to her, unless the subject was someone intimidating, like Qin Fan.

Her smile paused slightly, and she turned to look outside the shop. The nearly transparent glass window offered no shield from the gaze. She noticed many passersby glancing inside, but none of them were the subject of the gaze.

Was it a casual glance? Or had they already left?

Si Huang didn’t dwell on it too much.

“Arthur, what are you doing?”

Jerry Billy asked the disguised man beside him in confusion.

The man was dressed in an iron-gray shirt and jeans. Even crouching, his impressive height was evident. He had a rather unremarkable mop of brown hair and wore large black-framed glasses, making the lower half of his face difficult to see.

He was covering his lips with his hand, as if suppressing vomiting, or perhaps enduring something else. His body was trembling slightly, and a gasp of “Hahaha” escaped his throat.

“Are you feeling unwell?” Jerry Billy noticed his abnormality and grew anxious. “Should I call Jason and have him pick you up?”

“No need.” The man called Arthur slowly raised his head.

Jerry Billy’s eyes widened in surprise. The man wasn’t vomiting in pain. Instead, his cheeks were flushed with excitement. His brown eyes shone with an indescribable light, as if the deep brown was merely a barrier, holding back the truly dazzling light within.

“You’re making me even more worried,” Jerry Billy said.

Arthur shook his head, slowly standing up with the help of the wall that was obscuring him. “I’m just scared.”

“Scared?” Jerry Billy asked in surprise. “What could possibly scare you like that?” He couldn’t help but want to stick his head out and look around, in order to try to see what could be so terrifying that could frighten Arthur.

Arthur pulled him back and explained, “When your favorite food and your most disgusting thing are placed together, you’ll feel the same way I do.”

Jerry Billy said, “No, I’ll kick the disgusting thing away immediately.”

“You’re right,” Arthur said, “but you might get your own leg broken.”

Jerry: “So your disgusting thing is a fixed iron pole? A saw? A hard object? Oh, don’t forget, you have one too.” At the end, he smiled a lewd smile, deliberately teasing Arthur.

Arthur ignored him and strode out of the wall, looking straight ahead and leaving without a word.

“Hey! Arthur! Look, look! That Oriental guy in that store is so handsome! This is the first time I’ve seen someone so good-looking!” Jerry suddenly shouted.

He’d thought his friend would curiously join him in a few more glances, but when he turned around, he saw Arthur walking even faster.

“Hey? Arthur, wait for me!” Arthur was more important than seeing a stranger.

Jerry Billy took one last reluctant look inside the store, then sprinted to catch up with Arthur, who was almost disappearing into the crowd.
