The Vatican’s astrology was essentially a high-level divine art with more stringent requirements. It needed the help of instruments, formations and weather, so its accuracy rate was relatively high.

After Anos had dinner and completed his evening prayers, he took Luo Mi into the room filled with magical arrays.

The room was approximately one hundred square meters in size. The floor, walls, and ceiling were all painted with intricate and exquisite patterns, which appeared faintly when the magic was activated.

Luo Mi took a look and was immediately confused and amused.

Anos frowned slightly: “How did Reinhardt arrange it? There is not even a bed?”

Anos, who had practiced asceticism in the monastery, could adapt to any environment, but in his eyes, the demon beside him was an innocent poor thing who had suffered persecution from the Church and should sleep in a comfortable bed at night.

Luo Mi guessed that Luke must have been frightened by him, so he found a way to remove the bed, leaving only the sofa and cushions: “It’s okay, I can sleep on the sofa just the same.”

Anyway, he had to talk to the evil version of Anos tonight, so he probably won’t be able to sleep all night.

Anos was still a little dissatisfied, but he didn’t say anything else. He just looked at Luo Mi with more apologetic and appreciative eyes.

Luo Mi couldn’t bear the torture of his conscience after getting such a look, so he changed the subject and asked, “How strong is the magic circle here?”

Anos walked to the sofa and sat down. He then smiled and picked up a book of quotations from an unknown pope. He said, “A large number of divine magic arrays were buried when the Palace of the Holy Angels was built. Only a part of it was activated this time, which is enough to control the magic power of the demon lord level.”

At this point, he thought about it and corrected it with more rigorous words, “It should be said that other demon lords at the level of Lord Red Horn have never directly fought with the Church.”

Luo Mi was relieved: “That’s good.”

In this way, even when the evil Anos appeared, he should not be able to harm him or the good Anos.

The last time the angel descended, the evil Anos showed malice and murderous intent to the original body, which Luo Mi still remembered. In the case that he was still unsure about the split personality of Anos, Luo Mi did not want Anos to be wiped out by his second personality.

Although Anos’ purity was deliberately cultivated by the Church by isolating him, Luo Mi did not dislike simple and positive people.

Anos glanced at him and said, “Don’t worry, I’m here for you no matter what happens.”

The problem lies with you… Luo Mi muttered in his heart and was about to fool him when he suddenly felt a chill running up his spine.

He subconsciously looked at Anos and saw a blood-red color in Anos’ beautiful eyes, just like the first time he experienced the blood moon!

Luo Mi subconsciously looked out the window.

A bright red full moon hung in the sky, with dark clouds rolling faintly around it, like a scene from hell.

The blood moon was coming!

Even though he knew the magic array was working, Luo Mi couldn’t help swallowing his saliva but then he mustered up the courage to greet him: “Hi, long time no see.”

Anos’s red pupils paused on Luo Mi, and then a wave of confusion appeared: “What do you mean long time no see?”

Luo Mi was stunned: “Ah?”

Anos looked at him, but his red eyes were pure and his light golden eyebrows were slightly raised: “What are you talking about?”

Luo Mi heard that his tone was normal, so he asked carefully: “Are you feeling uncomfortable?”

“Uncomfortable? No. Are you uncomfortable?”

Luo Mi quickly shook his head: “No, I just saw that you seemed…”

He pondered for a long time before he came up with the right words, “A little sleepy.”

Anos laughed and said, “Why would I be sleepy? I can stay awake for a long time. If you are not sleepy, come here and I will read the scriptures to you.”

As soon as these words came out, Luo Mi was 100% sure that the Anos in front of him was the normal Anos—except that his pupils had turned bright red.

This made him extremely surprised: What happened? Was he stood up?

Where was the evil version of Anos? Was he asleep? Or was he sealed in this magic circle and couldn’t even get out?

He had said it so forcefully before, that all he needed to do was prepare a room for himself. Luo Mi thought that the evil Anos could possess Anos at any time…

He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, and could only comfort himself: Don’t be impatient, the blood moon hasn’t ended yet, maybe the person just hasn’t woken up yet, just wait a little longer.

….

As a result, by the early morning, the moon had faded from its bright red to silver, the magic array had stopped, Anos was still Anos, and the color of his pupils had returned to its normal azure blue.

When Anos opened the door, Reinhardt and Luke, who were standing outside, immediately stared at his and Luo Mi’s clothes, repeatedly confirming that their pure and flawless Son of God had not been “defiled”.

Luo Mi’s possessiveness suddenly took effect: “What are you looking at!”

Reinhardt then glanced at the corner of his mouth.

Anos knew that Luo Mi’s emotions were not intentional so he said: “Okay, I’ll take Lian back, you guys go and rest.”

Reinhardt and Luke looked at each other, agreed, and watched the two men slowly walk away.

Reinhardt then glared at Luke with a somewhat unfriendly look: “Is this what you said about Lian wanting to attack His Highness?”

Luke pursed his lips with a bitter face, realizing that he had been tricked by that little devil again, and he had no confidence to refute. Then, he suddenly asked, “Did your Highness’s shadow move?”

Reinhardt said with a dark face: “Your Highness is walking, so of course the shadow will move! Don’t interrupt! You will be punished for this!”

Luke originally wanted to say that he just saw the shadow moving in a way that was somewhat different from His Highness’s walking, but after thinking about it carefully, he felt that he might have seen it wrong – after all, nothing was safer than the angels on earth themselves.

He could only sigh over his deducted bonus.

….

Luo Mi returned to his room, yawned, and lay on the bed, muttering, “It was all in vain…”

In his half-asleep state, a cold voice sounded in his ears: “It’s not in vain. You successfully wasted a good opportunity of mine.”

Luo Mi was suddenly alerted and opened his eyes wide, only to find that there was a dark shadow in front of him. A real ink-colored shadow was flowing out from the shadow, flowing up along his ankles and wrapping around him tightly.
