The relationship between Chi Yiming and Lu Qing lasted for one semester. In May before the summer vacation, Jiang Sui and Chen Shujun went to enjoy the cool weather in the school woods. The physical education class was in full swing outside. While Jiang Sui bit a small popsicle and sat with Chen Shujun on the staircase of an abandoned small building.

Chen Shujun suddenly asked her: “Do you hear crying?”

Jiang Sui listened carefully, and sure enough, there was a faint cry of a girl coming from upstairs. Chen Shujun swallowed: “It’s not haunted, right? I heard that our school is built on a cemetery.”

Jiang Sui said: “Don’t be afraid, it’s all rumors.”

Chen Shujun said: “Then let’s go and take a look.”

She pulled Jiang Sui, and before she had even taken two steps, she heard a smiling voice which said lazily: “Keep holding on, you are much prettier now.”

When Jiang Sui and Chen Shujun heard this voice, they didn’t dare to go up anymore.

The two looked at each other in confusion. Chi Yiming actually skipped class?

On the stairs, on the other side of the corner, Lu Qing covered her mouth, her eyes red: “But I am very hungry, I am really so hungry, I haven’t eaten in two days.”

Chi Yiming sighed, raised his chin, and touched her cheek respectfully: “Although I think your persistence is very effective and you are much more beautiful now, I don’t want you to go hungry, just eat.”

He took out the chocolate from his pocket, and Lu Qing’s eyes turned green when she saw it. She reached out to grab it, and Chi Yiming looked at her with a smile.

Lu Qing’s hand suddenly stopped when she looked at Chi Yiming.

When the young man smiled, his eyebrows were exquisite, he had thin lips and black hair, and he was clearly looking at her, but he didn’t seem to be looking at her. But he was very good-looking, especially when he was looking at people intently.

He was number one in his grade, gentle and considerate, and he looked so cool when playing basketball. She had seen him shooting three-pointers while wearing a wristband from afar, which made her heart beat fast.

He was very popular and almost the whole class supported him. Such a person was her boyfriend. But she knew that she was obviously not very lovable, not pretty, had poor grades, and was even a little fat.

Lu Qing retracted her hand as if she was electrocuted. Her lips trembled and she said, “I don’t want to eat. I can persist. Have I really lost a lot of weight?”

Chi Yiming sneered secretly and said, “Of course.”

Lu Qing bit her lip and handed Chi Yiming the money she had in her pocket to buy lunch and dinner: “I can persevere.”

She wanted to hug him. The boy’s waist was thin and strong, and she needed a little strength.

But she just touched it, and Chi Yiming put a finger on her shoulder: “Qing Qing, don’t forget our agreement.”

Lu Qing collapsed a little, but still nodded: “I haven’t forgotten. I have to study hard, lose weight, and get into the same high school with you, and then we can be together again.”

There was no emotion in Chi Yiming’s eyes. He leaned against the wall and looked down at her scornfully.

How stupid.

He suddenly glanced downstairs, and this time he met two shocked faces. A somewhat familiar girl looked at him angrily. He had a good memory and remembered this elementary school classmate Chen Shujun. There was another one… The smile on his face froze for a few seconds, and gradually became weird and ugly.

Little did Jiang Sui know that this pervert would suddenly lower his head, and she and Chen Shujun were caught by him before they could run away.

Her face turned pale, she quickly lowered her head and picked up Chen Shujun’s hand and left.

Chi Yiming looked at the two of them running away.

Lu Qing pulled his sleeve: “Chi Yiming, what are you looking at?”

Chi Yiming said: “Looking at a butterfly.”

Lu Qing also looked down: “Where did the butterfly come from? Why didn’t I see it?”

Chi Yiming was too lazy to deal with her: “Flew away, go back to class quickly, and don’t look for me during class time in the future.”

Lu Qing said quickly: “I won’t do it next time.” She was so hungry that her hands and feet had gone weak. She just wanted to ask Chi Yiming if she could give up, but when she saw him, she couldn’t say anything.

Chi Yiming put away her money: “I’ll save it for you, let’s go.” He was really too lazy to touch the money.

Chi Yiming wiped his fingers with a bit of disgust.

….

Chen Shujun felt bad after overhearing this secret. She remembered that when she was in elementary school, she had fallen in love with him, and Chi Yiming did the same to her. But at that time, he was not extremely cruel and only the words he said were hurtful. Therefore Chen Shujun gave up after being sad for a while.

However, something was obviously wrong with Lu Qing’s appearance.

How did Jiang Sui react? Naturally, she didn’t dare to react.

She could only hope that she was far enough away that Chi Yiming couldn’t realize it.

The authorities were fascinated by the onlookers, and they all felt Chi Yiming’s viciousness.

A few days later, something big happened in the school. The principal’s daughter, Lu Qing, fainted in music class. Some people said that they saw Lu Qing eating bad rice not long ago.

The rice was sour, but Lu Qing could no longer smell it.

Lu Qing was full after being hungry for a long time. Finally, she was admitted to the hospital due to hypoglycemia and suffered some physical problems.

However, everyone in the school thought there was something wrong with this girl, and no one suspected Chi Yiming. Even Lu Qing herself did not confess about him.

Jiang Sui was extremely depressed.

Chen Shujun chattered her teeth: “He’s really too much.” It’s really scary.

Jiang Sui: “Don’t mess with him.”

Generally speaking, people who didn’t offend Chi Yiming would be fine. He was fine in everything and when not going crazy, he was just a sunny and good young man. However, when he went crazy, he could spend many years doing terrible things to you.

Chi Yiming was still a toothless wolf cub now, but the future Chi Shao who had recognized his ancestors and returned to his clan would be even more mean and vicious.

A normal person would have no chance of winning against such a madman. Jiang Sui was really afraid that Chen Shujun would be stupid.

Because of this incident, Jiang Sui avoided him and repeatedly warned Chen Shujun not to get involved.

Fortunately, summer vacation was finally coming.

….

Chi Yan kicked the boy to the ground, and the kick was merciless. The boy hit the table, holding his stomach and was unable to get up.

Chi Yan had no expression on his face and stepped on his finger: “Apologise to her.”

Someone in the class screamed, and there were also spectators from the surrounding classes.

The boy on the ground screamed in pain and said quickly: “I apologize, I apologize, I’m sorry Duan Ling, I shouldn’t have said that about your appearance behind your back!”

Chi Yan looked around at the people in the class, and everyone looked at him in surprise.

Chi Yan let go of his foot, and Duan Ling’s eyes flashed with resentment, then she raised a stack of books and hit the boy on the head.

Chi Yan looked at her coldly, as if he had no emotion. When she had beaten him enough, he stopped Duan Ling’s hand and said, “This is enough.”

Duan Ling slapped Chi Yan hard, turned around and ran out.

Chi Yan touched the corner of his mouth and stood up expressionlessly, as if her anger had no effect on him, and went back to his seat to read a book.

After this class, Chi Yan was punished to stand for a whole class and was placed on probation. The boy who was beaten came from a good family and was just given a demerit in the end.

The class whispered that Chi Yan was Duan Ling’s dog, and he would bite anyone who offended Duan Ling. When Duan Ling hit him, he seemed to have no feeling, and he almost never talked back to Duan Ling. There was such a student in the class who became the target of gossip among his classmates.

However, Duan Tianhai felt heartbroken and sighed when he found out about Duan Ling hitting someone with books. In order to make Duan Ling happy, he proposed to send her to her uncle’s house to play during the summer vacation.

Duan Tianhai asked Chi Yan to follow her.

“There are many people of the same age at her uncle’s place. You should bring Xiao Ling to have more contact with them. Don’t let others bully her.”

Chi Yan responded respectfully.

However, the more he rode towards the familiar place, the more the calmness on Chi Yan’s face was finally broken.

“Uncle Zhang, where are we going?”

Uncle Zhang said cheerfully: “Quxi Courtyard.”

The luxury car drove into the compound, and the boys and girls stuck their heads out to watch the excitement.

The long black luxury car raised a light dust and drove towards the north of the compound.

Sun Xiaowei took his precious kaleidoscope and was about to go out when he saw Duan Ling getting out of the car.

He had a mean mouth and curled his lips: “The old witch is here again.”

Duan Ling’s eyes widened: “Sun Xiaowei, say it again!”

“Are you deaf? I will say it again.”

Sun Xiaowei’s father came out of the door and said with a smile: “Xiao Ling is here, come in and sit down. Uncle hasn’t seen you for several years.”

Duan Ling shouted: “Uncle.”

Sun Xiaowei glanced at Chi Yan next to the car with contempt: “Oh, she even brought her dog.” After saying that, he stared at the sun and ran away.

His father, Sun Chen, was so angry that he blew his beard and glared. Sun Chen also knew Chi Yan: “Chi Yan, you come in and sit too.”

Chi Yan’s eyes showed no emotion and he nodded politely. He secretly thought that Duan Ling’s uncle was Sun Chen. While Duan Tianhai was in business, the Sun family’s grandparents were very prosperous, but when it came to Sun Chen’s generation, he was an incorruptible official and was quite respected.

This family was indeed rich and powerful.

….

Sun Xiaowei took the kaleidoscope and ran to the south of the courtyard.

Jiang Sui was washing clothes in the yard and was wiping her forehead at this time. Her fingers soaked in the water were white and tender. Sun Xiaowei walked in with his hands behind his back and his head held high and called out in a rather arrogant tone: “Jiang Sui.”

The girl tilted her head and called his name softly: “Sun Xiaowei, what can I do for you?”

“…” Sun Xiaowei stared blankly at her eyelashes that were wet with water. His cheeks slowly turned red. He squinted at her and said, “I got a good thing. If you ask me, I will show it to you.”

Jiang Sui bit her lip and tried to hold back her laughter.

She tried her best not to look at him with a retarded look: “I’m not interested, I’m doing laundry.”

Sun Xiaowei was furious: “Aren’t you curious?”

The girl shook her head: “Aren’t you hot standing in the sun?” Her face had turned red.

Sun Xiaowei said in a discouraged manner: “Forget it, seeing how miserable you are, where you still have to wash your own clothes, let me show you.” He didn’t avoid Jiang Sui’s foamy hands, even though he had a proud and arrogant expression on his face, but his movements were flattering. He knelt down in front of her and showed her the kaleidoscope. Her eyelashes were so long that Sun Xiaowei didn’t dare to move the kaleidoscope close for fear of touching her eyes.

The dazzling nature exploded in front of her eyes and it was truly beautiful.

Jiang Sui smiled softly: “Very beautiful.”

Sun Xiaowei coughed: “Do you want it? If you…”

Jiang Sui shook her head: “No.”

Sun Xiaowei: “You are so annoying.”

Jiang Sui nodded and said, “Then squat further away.”

Sun Xiaowei was so angry that he wanted to yell. So, he said angrily: “My cousin is here. She is very annoying. I don’t want to stay at home, so I will stay at your house!”

Jiang Sui spoke slowly for a while: “My family doesn’t care about food, but you eat too much.”

Sun Xiaowei glared at her fiercely: “I don’t eat much.”

Jiang Sui reacted and said honestly: “That doesn’t matter.”

Sun Xiaowei was so angry that he stuffed the kaleidoscope into her arms and ran out of the yard.

Jiang Sui sighed and looked at the kaleidoscope in her arms distressedly. At first glance, this kind of thing was not an ordinary thing on the market. It was even rimmed with gold. Sun Xiaowei was really a prodigal son. She still had to return it to Uncle Sun.

However, she had never heard of Sun Xiaowei’s cousin. Who was his cousin?
