Si Huang glanced around, and from the way some people’s mouths moved, she could discern what they were saying: simply surprise at her youthful appearance.

Putting his attention back on Ace, Si Huang realized that the reason this little girl became so popular was not just because of her looks and hidden status, but because she had real talent.

She seemed to be born to wear white. This simple and monotonous color could show its purest side on her.

Her platinum-colored hair was straightened and hung down like golden tassels. Her azure eyes were as clean as a newborn baby’s, clearly reflecting everything she saw.

She walked on the cold floor, tapping the ground with her toes, as if she had no weight at all, as light as stepping on dewy green grass, dancing in the mountains.

She had a happy smile on her face, like a little angel, who could wash away the darkness in people’s hearts and be infected and influenced by her.

“What are you looking at?” Qin Fan asked.

“Look, an angel.” Si Huang raised his head in the direction of Ace.

Qin Fan didn’t object, instead praising her, “This kid’s serious.”

“And she’s working hard.” Si Huang stared at Ace’s feet. “She looks beautiful walking like that, like she’s walking on a knife’s edge.”

“She’s got some skills.”

“Without some skills, you can’t walk like that.”

“Don’t get too close to her, or your abilities will be discovered.” Qin Fan lowered his voice, his large hand caressing her neck, whether in warning or perhaps to take advantage.

Although he didn’t touch her false Adam’s apple, Si Huang understood his warning. “Are you talking about Ace?”

“Yes,” Qin Fan said expressionlessly, “Some people with special bloodlines are easier to identify.”

“How?” Si Huang piqued.

In fact, she had already noticed the glow emanating from Ace when she activated her eyes.

Qin Fan: “Extraordinary charm.”

“The way you put it, they should be suspicious of me too.” Si Huang wasn’t arrogant, but self-aware.

“It’s just a suspicion,” Qin Fan didn’t deny. “Even if it’s confirmed, it’s fine. Every nation and family knows about each other’s existence, but everyone’s abilities are secret and best not revealed.”

Si Huang nodded thoughtfully.

As the two chatted quietly, Ace’s filming session concluded flawlessly.

Si Huang’s outstanding performance delighted Ace, and her attitude towards the other had noticeably improved. She even booked a restaurant for lunch.

In the private room, Ace revealed her girlish side— a love of ice cream and desserts.

Seeing her enjoying herself easily whetted the appetites of the others.

Si Huang was halfway through her meal when her phone rang. She pulled it out, saw the caller ID, apologized, and went outside to answer the call, stopping by to use the restroom.

As soon as the door to the private room closed, Si Huang answered the call and said in English, “Hi, Simon.”

“Hi! King,” Simon’s resentful voice echoed from the other end.

Speaking of which, Simon had originally chosen that nickname during their earlier group time together.

Because Si Huang’s Chinese name was difficult to pronounce, after hearing Li Luona call her “Your Majesty” and finding out that Si Huang’s fans all called her that, this guy jokingly said he’d just call her “King” from now on.

“Did your girlfriend dump you?” Si Huang joked.

Simon responded even more resentfully, “No, I wasn’t dumped by my girlfriend. I was forgotten by my brother.”

“Who would forget you?”

“A heartless villain!”

“Do you need me to teach him a lesson?”

“Of course,” Simon said viciously. “Help me punch yourself right now! It’s best to do it while yelling ‘I’m an asshole’ in front of everyone and then punch yourself!”

Si Huang laughed, “You’re still such a jokester.”

Simon said angrily, “Who’s kidding? You came to Country M and didn’t even tell me! If it wasn’t for Xia’s message, I wouldn’t have known!”

“I’m here to work, not to have fun,” Si Huang said innocently.

“I just don’t believe you don’t have time to play!”

“Okay,” Si Huang said. “Actually, I just didn’t want to bother you.”

“I’m not bothered, so what’s bothering you?” Simon’s tone returned to laughter. “But you guessed right. I’m really busy these past few days. I’m in Country F. If you could stay an extra week, we could meet!”

“You don’t even have time, and you dare to accuse me of being disloyal?” Si Huang scoffed. Following the signs, she found the corner where the restroom was. She then glanced up and saw a figure that stopped her in her tracks.

Simon said something on the phone, but Si Huang, distracted, didn’t catch it clearly. It wasn’t until Simon called her twice that she snapped back to her senses and said, “I’m busy. Let’s talk next time.”

“Okay,” Simon didn’t insist. “Remember, stay an extra week.”

Si Huang said goodbye without making any promises, hung up the phone, and put it in her pocket.

She slowly walked into the men’s restroom. Seeing that it was all cubicles, she walked slowly, using her keen hearing to locate her target, and then walked into the adjacent cubicle.

“Mrs. Anna, yes! I’m at home! Oh, of course I miss you, I miss you so much!”

“What? You want to come over tonight?!”

“Oh no, of course no problem, how could you doubt me? If you don’t believe in my love, then I think we don’t need to…”

“The script of “Mysterious Country”? Have you discussed my role? …Ah, I’m not in a hurry, I want to see you more!”

Si Huang slowly listened to the familiar voice coming from the adjacent cubicle. The other person had probably spent some time in Country M, and their English was much more fluent and pleasant than before. Their youthful, pleasant voice easily endeared them.

Based on the one-sided conversation, Si Huang had roughly guessed the entire plot.

With malicious intent, she kicked the wooden door of the cubicle, making a loud “bang.”

The person on the other end paused, then said a few seconds later, “What was that sound? My book accidentally fell to the floor! Anna, my dear Anna, your suspicions are getting worse and worse! You can doubt anything, but you can’t doubt my sincerity! You’re making me sad!”

Si Huang leaned leisurely against the wall and kicked it again.

The person on the other end hurriedly explained a few words and hung up.

“F**k!” an angry curse came from the voice that had previously been quite gentlemanly and affectionate, now spewing a series of curse words. Then, Si Huang heard the door of her cubicle kicked in. “Who the hell is messing with this? Get out here!”

Si Huang crossed her arms, wondering whether to meet him or not.

Her silence was probably misinterpreted as cowardice, and the other party only kicked harder. “Come out! If you’ve got the guts, come out!”

“My sweetheart, what are you doing?” a Western woman cried out in surprise.

“Nothing,” the man’s voice outside returned to its gentle, gentlemanly tone. “I ran into a shameless gay, and what he said irritated me.”

“Sweetheart, this is truly unpleasant! It’s all your fault for being so outstanding!” the woman urged. “Come out, you’ve been gone for too long.”

“Si Huang, are you in there?” another voice rang out, its familiar low voice tinged with magnetism.

This time, Si Huang didn’t need to think any further.

She swung the door open and looked up to see the young man standing outside.

Dressed in designer casual clothes, with crisp black hair and a handsome face, he looked at first glance like a truly outstanding Eastern handsome man.

But then, the young man’s face paled and then turned blue, his eyes widening as he glared at her with shock and resentment.

Under such a stare, Si Huang was neither surprised nor angry, but smiled happily and greeted him elegantly, “Long time no see, Si Hua.”
